Abstract

AbstractThis research uses descriptive method in a qualitative form using documentary study techniques. The data source in this research is the novel Surga Untuk Ibuku by Riri Ansar in the form of a speech or dialogue betweencharacters. The data collection tool is the researcher as a key instrument assisted by notes in the form of inter-character speeches which contain the principle of politeness according to Leech in the novel Surga Untuk Ibuku by Riri Ansar. The technique of testing the validity of the data was carried out using three techniques, namely observer persistence, reference adequacy, and peer examination. The research results in this study were 59 utterances. The maxim of generosity consists of 14 utterances, the maxim of sympathy is 7 utterances, the maxim of appreciation is 5, the maxim of wisdom is 10, the maxim of simplicity is 3, the maxims of consensus are 2, very polite utterances are 4, the polite utterances are 4, utterances very impolite amounted to 5 utterances, and disrespectful speech totaled 5 utterances. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the maxim of generosity, maxim of wisdom, utterance is very impolite, and very few utterances in the novel Surga Untuk Ibuku by Riri Ansar are the maxims of consensus and simplicity.Keywords: pragmatic, the principle of politeness, novel

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the form of lingual unit terminology Rantual Sabbath Rantual Nika Mpalakng Customary Marriage in Dayak Kualatn Community in Petebang Hamlet. Describe the meaning of the term Native Mpalakng Marriage Sabbath Ritual Marriage for the Qualified Dayak Society in Petebang Hamlet. Describe the cultural meaning in the ritual of the Sabbath Rantual Nika Mpalakng Traditional Wedding Ceremony in Kualatn Dayak Society in Petebang Hamlet. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The approach is sociolinguistic. Data collection techniques are competent see involved, free see involved, record, record. Data collection tools are recording paper, questionnaires, stationery, recording devices. The cultural term in the Sabbath Rantual Nika Mpalakng Traditional Marriage Ceremony in the Dayak Kualatn Community in Petebang Hamlet consists of 25 data. Of the 25 data, it is divided into 2 parts, 6 data from Bapama, 19 basalobar data. Data from further research and can be used as objects of cultural heritage that should be preserved and can be used as guidelines in daily communication, especially the user community through local wisdom hidden in this custom.Keywords: Culture, Gantung Nika Malaking, Traditional Marriage, Dayak Kualatn in Petebang Hamlet.

Abstract

AbstractThis research deals with the field of morphology, especially regarding pronouns in BDBL in Bengkayang Regency. This research was motivated by the ins and outs of word structure and the influence of changes in word structure on word classes and meaning of words in the Dayak Bidayuh Lawang language. This research used descriptive linguistic method with a qualitative form. The data source in this research was Dayak Bidayuh Lawang language in Bengkayang Regency in the types of pronouns in Dayak Bidayuh language. The data collection technique used was the recording and note taking technique with data collection tools in the form of a list of types of pronouns in Indonesian, and then translated into the Dayak Bidayuh Lawang language. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that in BDBL there were six types of pronouns namely, personal pronouns, possessive, demonstrative, interrogative, relative, and in determinative. The forms of pronouns in BDBL consist of free forms and bound forms, and the functions of pronouns in BDBL in Bengkayang Regency generally occupy functions as subjects, objects, and predicates.Keywords: Pronouns in Dayak Bidayuh Lawang Language (BDBL) inBengkayang Regency

Abstract

AbstractThe problems in this study include the type of register, register function, and the form of descriptive text material to complement the speech of rice farmers at harvest time in Tanjung Maju Village, Ketapang Regency as learning Indonesian in the 2013 curriculum. Sociolinguistics. The purpose of this study was to describe the type of registers used by rice farmers during rice harvesting in Tanjung Maju Village, Sungai Laur District, Ketapang Regency to describe the register function contained in padai farmer registers at rice harvesting in Tanjung Maju Village. Sungai Laur Subdistrict, Ketapang Regency and explains the implementation of the use of the rice farmer register book at harvest in Tanjung Maju Village, Ketapang Regency in the description text as learning Indonesian in the 2013 curriculum. The method used is qualitative. The data source in this study is the Dayak Simpakng language spoken by informants in Tanjung Maju Village. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted using descriptive methods. The reasonresearchers used the descriptive method through the stages of data collection,data analysis, and data presentation was because the researcher wanted toprovide an objective picture of the terminology of community activities relatedto the Kapuas River in Pontianak Malay. The form of research used isqualitative research. This qualitative approach was taken because in thisstudy the objectives or research objects were limited so that the data takencould be extracted as much as possible and so that in this study it was notpossible to expand the research object. Based on the results of the study,researchers found a description of the terrain of terminology in activities inthe Kapuas River watershed Pontianak Malay community found four activitiesnamely cultural activities, fishing activities, daily activities and touristactivities with a total of 86 words. All terminology in activities in the KapuasRiver basin of the Pontianak Malay community has 86 lexical meanings and16 cultural meanings. The implementation of learning using culturaldescription text, which is a waste, makes it easier for students to understandthe text because the culture of waste is closely attached to the Pontianakcommunity living on the Kapuas River.Keywords: Field of Meaning, Malay Language, Semantics.
