Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to know the description, process, and barriers of extracurricular activities in developing the value of nationalism character to the students (the members of Paskibra) at SMAN 1 Pontianak. This research used descriptive with a qualitative form research design. The source's data of this study were Paskibra's members batch 27 classes X, trainers, coaches, the data taken from interview sheets for informants, observation sheets, and the secondary data were taken from Paskibra administrator. The results showed that the nationalism character of Paskibra members had developed and was in a good category. It was marked by an attitude of loving the homeland, appreciating the heroes' merit, having a sense of coalescence and unity, and loving the arts and culture of Indonesia through the process of implementing Paskibra activity. It aims to develop a sense of loving their homeland by raising the flag properly and correctly. However, there were also obstacles such as the limited time and field in carrying out the activities. Abstract

AbstractMulticultural education is education that instills diversity principles in pupils so thatthey can live in harmony with one another. The purpose of this study is to discover theplanning, implementation, and implementation steps of multicultural education inCivics subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat in order to foster a tolerant attitudeamong students. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative researchapproach. Principals, PPKn subject teachers, and students were used as data sourcesin this study. Interviews and previous documentation are the only methods for gatheringdata. Researchers employed data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, andverification/drawing conclusions as stages of data analysis. The findings reveal thatmulticultural education in Civics courses at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat has beenproperly implemented, beginning with planning, implementation, and implementation,in order to build student tolerance. Multicultural education is incorporated into theplanning process.Keywords: Implementation, Multicultural Education, Tolerance

Abstract

Abstract This aim of this reaseach was get information about ’the role of the education teacher of pendidikan kewarganegaraan to prevent the deliquency of student at MAS Darul Ulum Kuala Dua”. The method of the research was observation research with a form of quantitative research. The informant of the research is the teacher of pendidikan kewarganegaraan, Headmaster, student reapresentative, and the ten grades student of natural sciences and social sciences. Male students which amount to 15 student as a samples. The data that has been obtained in this research was processed with data analysis technique with usinng three phases namely redukation data, presentation of data, conclusions and verification. The result of this research was : 1. The role of the teacher of pendidikan kewarganegaraan in preventing deliquency of students is: as a supervisor, as role models for students, as a motivator, and as a communicator for students. 2. The obstacle exsperienced for the teacher pendidikan kewarganegaraan to prevent the deliquency of students is factors from the students themselves, family factor,and the neighborhood. 3. The effort from the teacher of pendidikan kewarganegaraan are communicated to students, and gives mental coaching and religious. Keywords: Delinguency of students, Teacher roles, PPKn
