Abstract

How Presentation Caption on Photo News in Newspapers daily Capital role give description about its contents. (Study case: Newspaper daily Republica). With formula problem the study focus about presentation caption on Photo news. Method research used is method qualitative with approach analysis fill. From studies literature obtained criteria analysis includes, 1. Text at least two photos sentence, 2. Text Photo is one unity from photo, 3. Sentences first explain ganbar, next explain regarding the data held, 4. Text Photo must contain elements 5 W and 1 H., 5. Text Photo made with sentence active and simple. Results analysis there is one edition in matter elements 5W and 1H only reflect element what and where.

Abstract

In recent times, Indonesia has been shocked by environmental issues related to air pollution. Excitement was reported on various social media related to the poor air quality that hit several cities in Indonesia. Environmentally-focused activists are beginning to take up their role on social media. One of them is @pandemictalks's Instagram account, which since the pandemic has been considered a vocal account related to environmental issues. This study aims to illustrate the role of @pandemictalks Instagram account related to the issue of air pollution in Indonesia. The research method carried out is a qualitative descriptive approach with Netnographic methodology. The results showed that @pandemictalks account is very aware and invites the public to care about the issue of air pollution.

Abstract

The concept of social reading as a community platform for book readers emerged as the adoption of information technology in the field of book and ebook publishing. Where, this platform appears as a place between writers, readers, and publishers to interact with each other. Even since the covid-19 pandemic, the development of social reading platforms has been growing rapidly. This can be seen from the many similar platforms that have appeared during the pandemic. In this article, the author wants to analyze the communitization concept which is part of the new wave marketing in the development of social reading in Indonesia. By using a qualitative approach based on the constructivist paradigm and the case study method, this research raises several findings. Among other things, if the emergence of a social reading platform indirectly makes it easier for writers and publishers to find their target market, communicate interactively with them, and carry out a good marketing communication strategy. With the nature of horizontal interaction between them and the existence of technology as a medium, this is in accordance with the communitization aspect of New Wave Marketing.
