Abstract

AbstrakBerbagai kasus SARA (suku, agama, ras, etnis dan budaya ) seringkali menjadi pemicu kerusuhan yang terjadi di Indonesia. Masih segar dalam ingatan kita tentang kasus Tolikara yang terjadi di Tolikara Papua, yang menyebabkan beberepa orang tewas, terluka dan kebakaran. Peristiwa itu terjadi pada saat pelaksanaan shalat ‘idul Fitri. Peristiwa Sampit antara Suku Dayak Vs Madura pada tahun 2001, konflik Ambon Tahun 1999, dan terakhir adalah demo aksi damai bela al Qur’an oleh jutaan kaum muslimin dari berbagai ormas Islam se-Indonesia di Jakarta, atas tuduhan kasus penistaan Agama Basuki Djahya Purnama alias Ahok. Sehingga memunculkan berbagai kontrofersi dan masih banyak kasus lagi yang suatu saat ia bisa membakar dan pecah seiring terus memanasnya suhu politik, agama, sosial, budaya yang menyulut timbulnya api konflik muncul kembali. Sungguh tragis dan memilukan jika melihat hal itu terus terjadi di Indonesia sebagai Negara demokrasi  yang berasaskan pancasila. Akar masalah diatas, tentu saja tidak dapat dibiarkan berlarut-larut bila kita semua masih menghendali tegaknya Negara Kesatuan Repubik Indonesia (NKRI). Dalam konteks ini, merupakan keharusan bagi kita bersama untuk memikirkan upaya-upaya pemecahannya (solution). Termasuk pihak yang harus bertanggung jawab dalam hal ini adalah dunia pendidikan. Melalui pendidikan diharapkan mampu memberikan penyadaran (consciousness) kepada masyarakat melalui design materi-materi, metode, kurikulum hingga evaluasi yang menyadarkan masyarakat akan pentingnya sikap saling toleran, menghormati perebedaan suku, agama, ras, etnis dan budaya masyarakatvIndonesia yang multikultural. Dengan kata lain, sudah selayaknya pendidikan berperan sebagai media transformasi social, budaya dan multikulturalisme. Keywords: Pendidikan, Islam, Multikultural.

Abstract

AbstractPesantren is a traditional Islamic educational institution that grows and develops in the midst of Muslim society and is involved directly in efforts to educate the life of the nation and has contributed significantly to the implementation of education in Indonesia.Historically, the pattern of pesantren approach to the community through familiar and deeply rooted traditions has led pesantren to an education system that is full of flexibility and has a broad spectrum, beyond the boundaries of the pesantren itself. No exaggeration to say, pesantren is a deshooling society by making society as a learning society and make learning as a process that runs continuously.However, pesantren educational institutions are required to continue to innovate and able to read contextually the values of tradition that become inevitability to be earthed in the reality of pesantren education and demands wisdom. simplicity, independence, and sincerity need to be dedicated to the spirit of education in a contextual formulation that fits the ongoing development and changing lives. Thus simplicity will find its point in the development of efficiency and effectiveness of the institution, and independence will be directed to the formation of civil society, and sincerity will be concretized into the form of achievement development. Through it, pesantren and the surrounding community will be able to know their needs in real terms and will always develop themselves through tireless efforts to gain knowledge and knowledge as wide as possible. Keywords: pesantren, histories, and teaching method.

Abstract

Globalization has intensified the complexity of fostering inclusive education, particularly in culturally diverse societies. Multicultural education promotes respect and appreciation for diversity, while Islam Wasathiyah—a principle rooted in Islamic teachings—emphasizes moderation, balance, and universal values. This study explores the integration of these two frameworks to develop a culturally grounded model for inclusive education. A systematic literature review was conducted to examine scholarly works on multicultural education and Islam Wasathiyah. Sources were selected based on relevance, credibility, and their contribution to inclusive educational practices. Findings suggest that combining multicultural education with Islam Wasathiyah provides a cohesive framework to support inclusivity in schools. This integration enhances social harmony, promotes tolerance, and fosters inclusive, child-friendly learning environments. Key strategies identified include diversity-sensitive teacher training, curriculum development based on shared human values, and active community participation in educational initiatives. By bridging cultural and religious educational paradigms, this model offers a universally adaptable approach to inclusivity. It contributes to broader educational reforms aimed at nurturing empathy and coexistence in pluralistic societies. The strategic fusion of these principles addresses gaps in current inclusive education practices and offers practical implementation pathways. Integrating Islam Wasathiyah with multicultural education creates a holistic model for inclusive education that is both culturally sensitive and universally applicable. This approach supports the development of equitable education systems responsive to cultural and religious diversity in today’s global context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berpendekatan deep learning terhadap Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di MI Al-Falah Beran Ngawi tahun pelajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi experimental nonequivalent control group dengan sampel 21 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 18 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes HOTS berbasis indikator C4 hingga C6 dan angket motivasi model ARCS. Analisis data mencakup statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi, dan ANCOVA dengan pretest sebagai kovariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL berpendekatan deep learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap HOTS (F = 9,09; p = 0,005; η²p = 0,197) dan motivasi belajar siswa (F = 49,4; p = 0,000; η²p = 0,572), keduanya berada pada kategori pengaruh besar. Dengan demikian, Hₐ diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara PBL dan deep learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan motivasi belajar secara signifikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi empiris dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inovatif di tingkat dasar untuk mendukung pembelajaran abad ke-21.
