Abstract

This analysis describes the 21st Century Critical and Creative Thinking, which describes the Hegelian Dialectical Analysis method by unraveling social science learning in Junior High School. By describing the Hegelian Dialectical Analysis method in theory, the findings got in the theory can improve students’ critical thinking skills in 21st century social studies learning in junior high schools, especially improving students’ critical and creative thinking in social studies learning in junior high schools.Keyword: Creative thinking, dialectical analysis, social studies learning

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas dinamika gerakan gender dalam dunia jurnalistik di Riau dengan menyoroti bagaimana perempuan jurnalis meretas bias yang kerap membatasi peran dan kontribusi mereka. Dalam konteks budaya lokal yang masih sarat nilai patriarki, perempuan jurnalis menghadapi tantangan berupa stereotip gender, kesenjangan akses terhadap posisi strategis, serta tekanan sosial yang memengaruhi keseimbangan antara kehidupan profesional dan personal. Melalui pendekatan analisis diskursus dan wawancara mendalam dengan sejumlah jurnalis perempuan, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perempuan di Riau tidak hanya berperan sebagai pelapor berita, tetapi juga sebagai agen perubahan sosial. Mereka membawa perspektif unik dalam meliput isu-isu yang sering terpinggirkan, seperti kekerasan berbasis gender, pemberdayaan komunitas perempuan, serta pelestarian budaya lokal. Artikel ini juga mengidentifikasi upaya kolektif yang dilakukan perempuan jurnalis untuk mendobrak hambatan, termasuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional, membangun solidaritas gender di ruang redaksi, dan mengadvokasi kebijakan media yang lebih inklusif. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya kesetaraan gender dalam dunia jurnalistik sebagai langkah strategis untuk memperkaya narasi media di Riau dan mendorong transformasi sosial yang lebih adil.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of outdoor study at the Siak Sri Indrapura Palace site in social studies learning to improve students' nationalistic value. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent pre-test and post-test control group research design. The instruments used in this research were pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The population in this study were all grade 11 students. The population of class XI-1 students as the control class and class XI-3 students as experimental class, descriptive analysis of the students’ characteristics in the beginning and end of the avtivity of both students in control class and experimental class. Data analysis uses prerequisite tests, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing uses sample t-tests which are analyzed using SPSS. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it shows that using the outdoor study method in learning social sciences is more effective in improving students’ nationalistic character, and this research also reveals that the experimental class that uses the outdoor study method also has better effect on the results compared to learning using the lecture method and watching videos in class.
