Abstract

Surakarta has an area of 46.72 km2 with a population of 583,961 people. The land use in Surakarta for housing is 62% and for open space is only 9.82% of the area. Meanwhile, economic growth in this city has always experienced an increasing trend, where in 2023 investment growth reached 55.82%. This study aims to determine the general picture through the causal relationship between the components of urban development and the carrying capacity of land in Surakarta. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data is obtained from identified variables which are then arranged dynamically using Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) analysis processed with Vensim software. The results show that there is a supply model (built-up area and green open space) and a demand model (population, investment, and Gross Domestic Product). The relationship between variables describes the causal relationship in Surakarta's Land Carrying Capacity divided into three rounds, namely Loop B1 (Land Carrying Capacity – Demand - Supply - Land Carrying Capacity), Loop B2 (Supply - Built-up Land - Land Conversion - Green Open Space – Supply), and Loop R1 (Population - Demand - Investment - GDP - GDP per capita – Population).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi biota hewan di Sungai Mejing dan lokasi perairan pertambangan pasir Girikerto. Dengan kondisi geografis Indonesia sebagai negara Maritim, Sungai Mejing dan perairan pertambangan pasir memberikan gambaran keragaman biota perairan terestrial. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai tanggal 30 Oktober 2023 s/d 2 November 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Visual Encounter Survey (VES). Pengumpulan sampel biota di perairan menggunakan jaring, kamera handphone, dan alat tulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap jumlah biota di kedua lokasi dimana di Sungai Mejing ditemukan 15 jenis hewan dan di kolam bekas tambang hanya ditemukan 1 jenis hewan. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh asal, kualitas air, distribusi, dan ketersediaan makanan.

Abstract

This research explores innovative strategies for developing electric vehicles based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning with the aim of maximizing service life and encouraging green mobility. In the face of the climate crisis and the increasing need for sustainable energy, electric vehicles offer a potential solution to reduce carbon emissions in the transportation sector. However, the challenges of optimizing battery life and energy efficiency require new, smarter and more connected approaches. This research integrates IoT technology with machine learning to create a more efficient electric vehicle ecosystem. This technology enables extended battery life through better usage management, increased energy efficiency through operational optimization, and predictive maintenance that reduces vehicle downtime. The research methodology includes testing prototypes of electric vehicles equipped with IoT technology, field trials to collect performance data, comprehensive analysis, and data processing to evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented strategies. The research results show that the integration of IoT and Machine Learning in electric vehicles can significantly increase battery life, energy efficiency, and make a positive contribution to green mobility. This development strategy is expected to advance electric vehicle technology in Indonesia, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and create a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

Abstract

Fotocopy AM adalah sebuah toko yang bergerak di bidang jasa percetakan, desain, dan penjualan peralatan kantor yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur. Program pendampingan ini difokuskan pada jasa editing dan himbauan ramah lingkungan agar dapat meningkatkan profitabilitas, kemampuan pekerja, tidak mencemari lingkungan, dan mengganggu pekerja. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk untuk memberdayakan pemilik dan pegawai toko mengenai editing dan menghimbau tentang kesadaran keberlanjutan lingkungan agar dapat meningkatkan profitabilitas dalam usahanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development). Hasil dari pendampingan yang telah dilakukan adalah, didapat peningkatan profit dari pesanan editing pada usaha ini karena daya kreatifitas dan estetika editing menjadi meningkat. Hal ini dapat pelanggan. Sedangkan untuk mendukung progam keberlanjutan lingkungan, dilakukan dengan melakukan pengelolaan limbah toner dengan benar. Dari pendampingan yang dilakukan, diketahui jika pendampingan dan sosialisasi yang tepat dan konsisten dapat meningkatkan pendapatan toko dan dapat meminimalkan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan manusia dan kondisi lingkungan.

Abstract

Air is a fundamental necessity for all living beings, especially humans. However, human activities whether intentional or unintentional can degrade air quality through pollution. This study compares the performance of the K-Means and K-Medoids clustering algorithms in analyzing the air pollution load from the industrial sector in Central Java in 2021. Using a quantitative approach and R Studio software, the analysis focuses on SO₂ and NO₂ pollution data obtained from the official Central Java BPS website. The results indicate that the K-Medoids algorithm with the silhouette method yields the most optimal clustering performance, with the lowest Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) value of 0.6201437 and 10 distinct clusters. Notably, Cluster 1 comprises districts with the highest industrial air pollution burden such as Banjarnegara Regency, which recorded 14,472 industries and NO₂ and SO₂ concentrations of 20 μg/m³ and 6 μg/m³, respectively. These findings demonstrate that clustering algorithms not only help reveal spatial pollution patterns but also provide critical insights for prioritizing targeted mitigation efforts and informing environmental policy-making in industrially active regions.
