Abstract

Abad 21 membawa perubahan yang cepat akibat kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Pergeseran paradigma dalam pembelajaran terjadi akibat pergantian kurikulum, terkhusus Kurikulum Merdeka. Kurikulum Merdeka diperkenalkan sebagai sebuah inovasi yang memungkinkan institusi pendidikan beradaptasi dengan kebutuhan peserta didik dan kondisi zaman yang terus berkembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana keterkaitan kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka dapat berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21 melalui pembelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan berupa studi literatur dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber yang relevan. Secara keseluruhan, pembelajaran IPS pada Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi peserta didik untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, kreativitas, dan komunikasi, yang merupakan pilar utama dalam keterampilan belajar abad 21. The 21st century brings rapid changes due to advances in science and technology. Paradigm shifts in learning occur due to changes in the curriculum, especially the Merdeka Curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum was introduced as an innovation that allows educational institutions to adapt to the needs of students and the changing conditions of the times. The aim of this research is to explore how the relevance of the Merdeka Curriculum policy can contribute to developing 21st century skills through social studies learning. The method used is literature study using various relevant sources. Overall, social studies learning in the Merdeka Curriculum provides a strong foundation for students to develop critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication skills, which are the main pillars of 21st century learning skills.

Abstract

Writing narrative skills are crucial in developing language abilities; however, manystudents face difficulties in writing narrative compositions correctly. This study aimsto analyze the errors in narrative composition writing among upper-gradeelementary school students. The research uses a literature review method, whichinvolves planning, searching and selecting, analysis, and synthesis stages. Thesearch was conducted through Google Scholar, limited to national journals indexedin SINTA 1-6 from 2021 to 2025, resulting in 10 relevant journals. The findings showthat the most frequent errors are the improper use of capital letters, punctuationmarks, inaccurate word choices, ineffective sentence structures, and insufficientdevelopment of the composition's content. These errors reflect students' weakunderstanding of linguistic rules and narrative elements. This study recommends astep-by-step and continuous writing learning process to help students improve theirwriting skills comprehensively.
