Abstract

This study examines the implementation and impact of digital attendance systems in education. Digital attendance is a technological innovation that replaces manual attendance systems using electronic devices such as web-based applications or specialized software. This study explores the effectiveness of digital attendance implementation in improving administrative efficiency, the accuracy of attendance data, and the monitoring of teaching and learning activities. It also analyzes its impact on student engagement, attendance compliance, and the learning process. The research employs quantitative and qualitative approaches by collecting data through surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that digital attendance enhances operational efficiency and facilitates real-time student attendance monitoring. However, implementing this technology also faces challenges, such as technical issues and user resistance. These findings contribute to developing policies and strategies for adopting educational technology to support school digital transformation.

Abstract

One important factor to determine the discipline of a student is to record student attendance. The attendance system that has been used so far is to call the student's name then record his attendance on paper, this manual technique causes various problems, for example, it takes a long time to record data, attendance records are damaged due to tearing and various other conditions. In addition, the attendance system that has been running so far has not been able to accurately record student attendance, such as whether students arrive on time or not. Now digital attendance based on the Scan It To Office application overcomes the problems so far. This digital attendance system not only facilitates the attendance process but also helps teachers in recording student attendance. Abstract

SDN 3 Trebungan merupakan suatu sekolah tingkat dasar, pada pelaksanaannya sistem akademik yang di gunakan pada SDN 3 Trebungan, seperti penyimpanan data siswa yang mencakup nilai akademik, jadwal mata pelajaran dan daftar kehadiranĀ  masih menggunakan sistem manual menggunakan Mikrosoft Exel atau buku catatan. Penyimpanan secara manual sering kali menyebabkan resiko kehilangan dan kesalahan dalam proses menginput data guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengimplementasikan dan Merancang Sistem Informasi Akademik Berbasis Web untuk membantu guru, tata usaha dan siswa dalam proses penginputan dan penyimpanan data, meminimalisir terjadinya manipulasi data atau kehilangan data, serta mengurangi waktu yang diperlukan dalam pembuatan laporan. Dalam merancang sistem ini penulis melakukan penelitian. Menggunakan Metode Agile Software Development dan diuji menggunakan black-box testing guna mengetahui apakah perangkat lunak serta aplikasi atu web beroperasi dengan baik dan optimal atau tidak seperti menguji usability, pengujian kinerja, pengujian keamanan dan fungsional. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan sistemĀ  informasi akademik dengan output berupa aplikasi sistem informasi akademik berbasis web. Perancangan sistem ini diharapakan dapat membantu bagian akademik dalam mengelola data akademik
