Abstract

The STAI Ma'arif Jambi website is one of the media that can be accessed using the internet. The website presents information in the form of text, images, audio, using the HTTP protocol. Therefore, the quality of the services provided must be of high quality so that website users feel satisfied with the services provided. The method used is the webqual 4.0 method and importance performance analysis (IPA). Based on data from calculations using the Slovin formula, the number of respondents required was 156 people, therefore questionnaires were distributed for more than one month to students and the general public. Where the distribution of the questionnaire was carried out at STAI Ma'arif Jambi and in the surrounding environment of Jambi. Data collection in this research was taken from the results of an online questionnaire using Google Form. As a result of distributing the questionnaire, 156 respondents were obtained, where the respondents were divided into two categories, namely men and women. The data was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 23 software. The results of this research show that the variable that has the most influence on user satisfaction on the STAI Ma'arif Jambi website is the quality of interaction, with a calculated t value of 3.846%. This variable is more significant than usefulness at 2,799% and information quality at 3,070%. The analysis results also show that the highest ranking is in the quality of service interactions (X3) with a value of 1.08%, while the lowest ranking is in the quality of information (X2) with a value of 0.93%. The average gap value (GAP) of -0.39 indicates that the quality of website performance has not met user expectations. In addition, the IPA quadrant analysis emphasizes the need for improvements to indicators in the third quadrant, because low levels of performance can influence users' interest in relying on these indicators.

Abstract

The latest advances in science and technology have positioned nanomaterials at the vanguard of contemporary research. Nano silica (SiO2) is an illustrative example of a nanomaterial extensively utilized in concrete manufacturing due to its properties as a pozzolan. The objective of this study is to elucidate the characteristics of nano silica and its effect on the performance of polymer concrete through experimental methods. X-ray diffraction (XRD) tests indicate that nano silica exhibits a high amorphous phase. Consequently, nano silica enhances the C-S-H gel formation reaction, producing more robust and denser specimens. The maximum compressive strength reached 45.23 MPa when adding 0.4% nano-silica with a specific gravity of 1573.33 kg/m3. For comparison, concrete without nano silica had a maximum compressive strength of 40.05 MPa with a particular gravity of 1610.67 kg/m3. Observation using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) showed that the nano-silica mixture exhibited excellent particle distribution as an activating agent that could enhance the strength of the specimens. Nevertheless, the observed reduction in compressive strength might be affected by several factors, including particle clusters and the presence of compounds carried by the fine aggregates that influence the mechanical properties of polymer concrete. Integrating nano-silica is pivotal in enhancing the compressive strength and reducing the specific gravity of polymer concrete specimens. The increased strength and decreased specific gravity render nano silica a promising additive for polymer concrete applications.

Abstract

The Public Works Agency for Highways and Spatial Planning of South Sumatra Province has the task of deconcentration in the field of roads and has authority over 88 roads with a length of 1,779.27 km spread across 17 districts and cities in South Sumatra Province. Not all provincial roads have an environmental evaluation document. The objective of the current research was to evaluate the environmental impact resulting from road operational activities in South Sumatra Province by taking data on ongoing activities, geological and topographic conditions, flora and fauna, socio-economic and cultural activities in the area, as well as measuring quality standards, which include air quality standards, noise, vibration, and water quality standards on the Sp. OPI - Babatan Saudagar - Srijabo Road. The conclusion of the current research shows that the ambient air quality, noise intensity, and vibration are still good and meet quality standards. The potential hydrogen (pH) and dissolved oxygen (DO) parameters in the Ogan River branch at the time of sampling for surface water quality did not meet the quality standards due to the type of soil, which tends to be acidic. Furthermore, the results of groundwater quality analysis show that the pH of groundwater measured in all locations is less than 6.5 or does not meet quality standards, which can cause an unpleasant taste when consumed, so processing is needed to increase the pH of groundwater.

Abstract

Fly ash, a byproduct of coal combustion, has gained significant attention due to its high silica content, and this silica-rich waste can be effectively converted into nano-silica. Factors such as the molarity of the solution, liquid-to-solid ratio, and the aging time play an essential role in determining the characteristics of silica nano produced, including particle size, morphology, and purity. This research aimed to determine the optimal conditions of solution molarity and the liquid-to-solid ratio to produce high-purity nano silica, examine the effect of aging time on the morphology and size of silica nanoparticles, and evaluating the effectiveness of the sol-gel method in producing nano-silica. This research uses nitric acid (HNO3 3 M) as the solution because it has not been widely explored and is more effective than other acidic solutions. In addition, the liquid-to-solid ratio varied from 1:5, 1:10, and 1:15, and combined with an aging time of 9 and 12 days, this study became the focus. The sample tested included XRD, XRF, FTIR, and SEM to confirm the nano-silica characteristics. It shows XRD is in the range of 2θ of about 20-22◦, which indicates the presence of amorphous silica, and FTIR shows results that support XRD data. SiO2 composition ranges from 97.47% to 98.57%, a very high amount of pure silica. It may concluded that silica nanoparticles have a particle size that varies from 151.2 nm to 295.4 nm, with a smooth morphology and relatively well distributed.

Abstract

The increasing population movement in Musi Rawas Utara in line with the progress and growth of residential areas in the district has an impact on the high demand for the provision of adequate transportation facilities and infrastructure. In order to meet the demand for transportation facilities and infrastructure, a policy was taken to develop road infrastructure. One of the road infrastructure development policies is data on road conditions in Musi Rawas Utara Regency. Updating data on district road conditions in Karang Jaya District uses the Surface Distress Index (SDI) Method and by sorting the stable condition of road sections in Karang Jaya District, Musi Rawas Utara Regency. The results of the district road survey in Karang Jaya District in 2024 are good conditions along 5,400 km or 6.944%, moderate conditions along 21,650 km or 27.842%, lightly damaged conditions 4,300 km or 5.530% and severely damaged 46,410 km or 59.684% with road stability of 34.787% and unstable conditions of 66.213%..

Abstract

This study aims to see the improvement of pedagogical competence of Santa Lusia Medan kindergarten teachers in making era 5.0 learning media through academic supervision. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed that teachers are willing and able to keep up with developments in the world of teaching where with the development of the times, especially in the 5.0 era, learning media that rely more on technology is also developing. The teachers felt enthusiastic about the material presented about the 5.0 era learning media in the form of power points that have images and sounds which are certainly very interesting for early childhood to strengthen their numeracy literacy reading literacy. In this case, teachers' skills have also increased where they are willing and able to design this 5.0 era learning media in teaching activities in the classroom.
