Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterlibatan orang tua dan persepsi mereka terhadap penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak sangat penting untuk mendukung perkembangan holistik anak, baik dari segi fisik, kognitif, sosial, maupun emosional. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua berkontribusi positif terhadap prestasi akademik anak dan meningkatkan komunikasi antara orang tua dan pendidik. Persepsi orang tua mengenai PAUD juga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi mereka dalam mendukung pendidikan anak. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik dan lembaga pendidikan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran anak.

Abstract

English language education at SD Negeri 104267 Pegajahan emphasizes the importance of mastering question words such as “what,” “who,” “where,” “when,” “why,” and “how,” which form the basis for students' communication skills. This study aims to analyze the teaching strategies used by teachers and the challenges faced during the learning process. The method applied is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through in-depth interviews and literature review. The results of the study indicate that contextual and interactive teaching methods are effective in improving students' understanding of the use of question words. However, challenges remain, such as limited learning time and differences in students' abilities. It is hoped that teachers can integrate technology and implement project-based learning to increase students' motivation and engagement. With continued support, it is hoped that students will be able to communicate with greater confidence and effectiveness and be motivated to continue learning English in the future.

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) learning in elementary schools plays an important role not only in mastering knowledge, but also in fostering students' social attitudes and skills. However, practices that are still dominated by conventional methods often make students less engaged and result in low social literacy. This article aims to examine the application of the constructivism approach in IPS learning to develop the social literacy of elementary school students. The research was conducted through a literature study by reviewing relevant journals, proceedings, and books published between 2016 and 2024. The results of the study show that constructivism, especially through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model and contextual learning, can increase student engagement, motivation, and critical thinking skills. In addition, this approach strengthens social literacy by linking learning to real experiences, local culture, and the use of digital media. The role of teachers as facilitators is key in guiding students to construct knowledge through discussion, reflection, and collaboration. Thus, the constructivist approach has the potential to make social studies learning more meaningful while preparing students to become active, caring, and responsible citizens.

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana pembelajaran bilingual dilakukan dalam mengajarkan topik Bagian-Bagian Tubuh kepada siswa kelas lima di Yayasan Pendidikan Ikhwanul Muslimin dan tantangan apa saja yang muncul selama proses tersebut. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bilingual terutama dilakukan dengan memperkenalkan kosakata dalam bahasa Inggris dan memberikan penjelasan dalam bahasa Indonesia sehingga siswa dapat memahami materi dengan lebih mudah. ​​Meskipun pendekatan ini membantu siswa mengenali kata-kata dasar bahasa Inggris, efektivitasnya dibatasi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti waktu belajar yang singkat, sedikit kesempatan untuk berlatih, dan rendahnya paparan terhadap bahasa Inggris di luar kelas. Siswa juga cenderung cepat lupa kosakata karena mereka jarang menggunakan bahasa Inggris dalam lingkungan sekolah sehari-hari. Selain itu, proses pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh kondisi kelas dan kurangnya kegiatan yang bervariasi yang mendorong partisipasi aktif. Secara keseluruhan, studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bilingual telah dilaksanakan, tetapi dukungan yang lebih kuat dalam strategi pengajaran, kesempatan latihan, dan manajemen kelas diperlukan untuk membantu siswa belajar dan mengingat kosakata dengan lebih efektif.
