Abstract

Religious character education must be applied at all levels of education, especially at the elementary school level. This is because elementary school students still have a simple mindset so that they have a high chance of being instilled with noble character. The philosophy of idealism has the same goal as the goal of the Republic of Indonesia, which is to form a human being who has a noble personality and has a spiritual character. However, in reality, so far the education system in elementary schools has focused more on mastering knowledge, while the aspect of religious character seems to be forgotten. The purpose of this research is to find out the cultivation of religious character education in the perspective of idealism. The results of the study state that religious character and the philosophy of idealism are closely related to morals or noble human morals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeksripsikan optimalisasi sarana dan prasarana untuk mewujudkan pendidikan karakter di SD Runiah School Makassar. Metode yang digunakanan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang relevan seperti wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana yang baik dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif untuk mendukung proses pendidikan karakter yang menjadi fokus utama dalam kurikulum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the scramble type cooperative model assisted by media cards on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in class V MI and SDIT Almawaddah Warrahman Kolaka. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design. The population of the study was all students of class V MI and SDIT Almawaddah Warrahman Kolaka totaling 15 students. The research instuments included a learning outcome test sheet (a written test in the form of an essay of 10 questions about multiplication) and an observation sheet to observe the learning process of teachers and students using media cards. Data collection techniques used tests (pretest and posttest) and observation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially using SPSS 25, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class (cooperative model scramble type assisted by media cards) was 91,84 higher than the control class (classical learning expository technique) with an average of 86.31. the normality test showed that the pretest dan posttest data of both classes were normally distributed. The homogeneity test also shows that the variance of the pretest and posttest data of both classes is homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample T-Test show a Sig value of 0,045, which is smaller thean 0,05. This indicates that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, indicating a positive influence of the scramble type cooperative model assisted by card media on student’s mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires educators to master 21st-century skills, including digital literacy and computational thinking. Although the government encourages the integration of coding and artificial intelligence in the curriculum, there is still a significant competency gap among elementary school teachers, especially at Cambaya IV Elementary School in Makassar, where most teachers do not yet understand the basic concepts or application of these technologies in learning. This community service activity aims to provide practical training in coding and artificial intelligence in order to improve conceptual understanding and digital skills, as well as motivate teachers to create an innovative learning environment for students. The implementation method consisted of three main stages, namely planning through material preparation and technical coordination, implementation consisting of introductory sessions on coding and artificial intelligence, training with a hands-on approach both without devices and using applications, and mentoring to help teachers apply the material independently. The final stage was reporting, which involved reflection and evaluation of the entire series of activities. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the understanding, confidence, and motivation of all participating teachers in integrating coding and artificial intelligence into learning. Through hands-on practice using device-free methods and application-based methods such as ScratchJr and simple artificial intelligence platforms, teachers gained concrete experiences that were useful for developing creative teaching strategies. The conclusion of this activity is that hands-on training and contextual mentoring have proven effective in improving teachers' technological competencies through the active involvement of the educational community. An important new aspect of this activity confirms that strengthening teachers' capacity through practical experience is key to supporting the transformation of digital literacy at the elementary school level.
