Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas terkait dengan perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia berkaca pada revitalisasi pendidikan di negara-negara Asia Tenggara. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, dan observasi. Dari hasil pengolahan data maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa lembaga pendidikan Islam yang terkonsentrasi di masing-masing negara tidak perlu diabaikan sampai saat ini, yaitu lembaga pendidikan tradisional dan lembaga pendidikan modern. Hasil analisis diperoleh data bahwa perkembangan organisasi lembaga pendidikan di negara-negara Asia Tenggara dengan pendidikan setingkat dengan Indonesia. Lembaga pendidikan Islam Indonesia yang menonjol adalah pewarisan nilai-nilai agama Islam. Hal ini sangat wajar mengingat aspek kurikulum yang ada saat ini semuanya mencakup mata pelajaran agama Islam secara komprehensif dan terpadu (walaupun di sekolah umum mata pelajaran agama Islam juga dipelajari tetapi tidak secara komprehensif dan mendalam) sedangkan di lembaga pendidikan Islam kurikulum pendidikannya. Islam menjadi fokus dan titik tekan. Perkembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam di Malaysia telah membawa peradaban baru yang diakui oleh dunia Islam. Hingga saat ini, Muslim Malaysia dikenal sebagai Muslim yang taat beribadah, kuat dalam menegakkan syariat Islam dan juga kehidupan beragamanya yang damai dan mencerminkan keislaman agamanya baik di desa maupun di pemerintahan.

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate the concept of cross-cultural counseling and its application in promoting religious tolerance and harmony in Bandar Pasir Mandoge. The research methodology involves a literature review and conceptual analysis, drawing insights from scholarly journals, books, and relevant documents on cross-cultural counseling, tolerance, and interfaith harmony. The findings indicate that cross-cultural counseling is a vital and relevant approach in multicultural societies. Culturally sensitive counselors possessing extensive knowledge and responsive cultural skills can create an inclusive and supportive counseling environment for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, facilitating effective problem-solving and personal growth. This research highlights the significance of embracing tolerance and respecting differences to foster a peaceful and harmonious society amidst cultural and religious diversity. In conclusion, cross-cultural counseling presents a sensitive and comprehensive approach in promoting interfaith harmony in diverse communities like Bandar Pasir Mandoge. By respecting differences and individual rights to practice their religious beliefs, communities can live in harmony and mutual respect, in line with the spirit of Pancasila as the foundation of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' understanding of integral calculus. This qualitative study investigates students' responses and understanding of integral calculus, with a particular focus on indefinite integrals. The study employed cooperative learning and animated PowerPoint (PPT) media. Data were collected from 117 students across 37 educational institutions, representing various classes and majors. The study, conducted online, comprised nine questions addressing students' attitudes, perceptions, and behaviours towards learning integral calculus. The findings reveal that while a majority of students express interest in mathematics, 26.5% have a good understanding of integral calculus, 45.3% find it average, and 18.8% struggle. For indefinite integrals, 28.2% understand them well, 45.3% find them average, and 19.7% struggle. Regarding learning methodologies, 60.7% of students express a preference for learning models integrating various media over traditional teacher-centric approaches. Additionally, 59.8% find animated PPTs helpful in understanding Integral Calculus. Additionally, 51.3% prefer a combination of traditional teaching and animated PPTs. Furthermore, the study reveals a strong inclination towards group learning models over individual learning. Notably, the majority of students correctly solved the indefinite integral problems provided, indicating a satisfactory understanding of the subject matter. Students generally exhibit a positive attitude towards learning Integral Calculus, especially when utilizing cooperative learning methods and animated PPTs. These findings underscore the importance of incorporating diverse teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and comprehension in mathematics education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pemahaman siswa dan mahasiswa tentang kalkulus integral. Studi penelitian kualitatif ini menyelidiki respons dan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap Kalkulus Integral, dengan fokus khusus pada topik integral tak tentu, dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif dan media PowerPoint animasi (PPT). Sebanyak 117 siswa dan mahasiswa dari 37 lembaga pendidikan di berbagai kelas dan jurusan berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online yang terdiri dari sembilan pertanyaan, yang membahas sikap, persepsi, dan perilaku mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran Kalkulus Integral. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa (59,8%) menunjukkan minat dalam matematika. Namun, sementara 26,5% mengklaim pemahaman yang baik tentang kalkulus integral, 45,3% menganggapnya hanya biasa, dan 18,8% kesulitan memahami konsep tersebut dengan baik. Demikian pula, 28,2% memahami integral tak tentu dengan baik, sementara 45,3% menganggapnya biasa, dan 19,7% mengalami kesulitan dalam pemahaman. Mengenai metodologi pembelajaran, 60,7% mahasiswa menyatakan preferensi terhadap model pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan berbagai media dibanding pendekatan tradisional yang berpusat pada guru. Selain itu, 59,8% menganggap PPT animasi bermanfaat dalam memahami Kalkulus Integral. Namun, 51,3% lebih memilih kombinasi pengajaran tradisional dan PPT animasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengungkap kecenderungan kuat terhadap model pembelajaran kelompok (70,1%) dibanding pembelajaran individual (13,7%). Secara mencolok, mayoritas mahasiswa (74,4%) berhasil menyelesaikan masalah integral tak tentu dengan benar, menunjukkan pemahaman materi yang memuaskan. Secara umum, mahasiswa menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran Kalkulus Integral, terutama saat menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif dan PPT animasi. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya menggabungkan beragam strategi pengajaran untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam pendidikan matematika.

Abstract

Low learning motivation will affect the level of children's achievement in the learning process, thus teachers are required to be able to solve the problem of low children's learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of teachers in generating early childhood learning motivation at TK PGRI Ibadurrahman Mande, Bima City both in the learning process and outside of learning. The method used is qualitative with a field approach, data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation and data analysis using techniques pioneered by Miles and Huberman. The results with the concept of constructive learning can provide stimulation to children so that they have high learning motivation. The concept of constructive learning includes learning outside the classroom (out class), utilisation of technology and exploration of nature. Then the teacher's applicable steps in maintaining children's learning motivation are by involving the role of the family to always create a learning space in every activity. In addition to the challenges faced by children such as, peers, family environment, technological advances and the school environment, in fact the concept of constructive learning by involving the role of the family is able to maintain children's learning motivation while having a high spirit of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan membaca permulaan, faktor penyebab kesulitan membaca permulaan serta solusi mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri 99 Buton. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 7 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bentuk kesulitan membaca permulaan, faktor penyebab siswa mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan dan solusi mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan. Bentuk kesulitan yang dialami siswa seperti belum mengenal huruf abjad, sulit membedakan bentuk dan bunyi huruf yang sama, dan kesulitan mengeja. Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan yaitu kurangnya minat belajar, kurangnya motivasi belajar, rendahnya daya ingat siswa serta kurangnya dukungan keluarga. Solusi mengatasi kesulitan membaca permulaan ini adalah dengan memberikan tambahan jam belajar, menyediakan buku bacaan yang dapat membantu siswa belajar membaca, menghadirkan metode pengajaran yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan minat siswa serta menyediakan media pembelajaran yang variatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan unsur instrinsik dari novel Cinta Suci Zahrana(CSZ) karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, di mana peneliti mendeskripsikan elemen-elemen fundamental dalam karya tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan yang mengandalkan referensi seperti naskah novel dan buku-buku lain yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Data yang diambil berupa kalimat dan kata-kata yang mengungkap unsur intrinsik novel, termasuk tema, tujuan, karakter, dan latar yang terdapat pada bagian kedelapan belas dari novel CSZ. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah Novel CSZ karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy, dengan tebal 284 halaman, diterbitkan oleh Penerbit Republika di Jakarta pada tahun 2017. Analisis data didasarkan pada pendekatan struktural atau objektif, fokus pada unsur-unsur karya sastra atau yang dikenal dengan analisis intrinsik. Dari analisis ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa struktur intrinsik (bagian kedelapan belas) novel CSZ terdiri dari: 1) Alur, menggunakan alur mundur dan alur maju yang memulai cerita dari peristiwa pertama dalam urutan waktu terjadinya, 2) Tema, berkisar pada tawaran Prof. Jiang Daohang kepada Zahrana untuk studi S3 di Fudan University, Cina, yang disetujui oleh suaminya, Hasan Baktinusa, 3) Amanat, mendorong pentingnya komunikasi yang baik antara suami-istri untuk kemajuan keluarga, 4) Jenis Tokoh, terdiri dari tokoh sentral protagonis yang menyampaikan nilai-nilai positif, seperti Zahrana, Jiang Daohang, Hasan Baktinusa, Lina, Dua Turis Italia, dan Bu Nyai Dah, 5) Metode Penokohan, menggunakan metode analitis/langsung/diskursif dan metode dramatik/tidak langsung/ragaan untuk menggambarkan karakter tokoh, 6) Latar, terdiri dari latar tempat atau ruang, latar waktu, dan latar suasana.

Abstract

This research addresses the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic to education, particularly the limitations of online learning and the subsequent implementation of limited face-to-face learning. Recognizing the significant impact of these challenges on both teachers and students, the study aims to explore factors influencing the efficiency of classroom management during limited face-to-face learning. Focusing on 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan, the research utilizes a quantitative approach, employing a Likert scale questionnaire distributed to 15 students via Google Form. The key findings reveal a deficiency in creating a conducive learning climate (32% - Not good), with challenges stemming from limited physical interaction, technological barriers, and difficulties in maintaining student engagement. However, organizing the study room received positive responses (67.5% - Good), indicating effective physical layout and orderliness contributing to a conducive learning atmosphere. On the other hand, managing the interaction of teaching and learning activities scored lower (30% - Not good), highlighting challenges related to varied teaching methods, learning media, and active student participation. In conclusion, the research underscores the necessity for improvements in the classroom management process within the limited face-to-face learning context. Abstract

The realization of faithful, pious, and noble youth is part of the youth development goals in Law 40 of 2009 concerning youth. The Mosque Youth Association (IRMA) Al-Mukminin, Bina Widya Village, Pekanbaru City can become a pioneer and a local scale spectrum to optimize the role of youth through activities to prosper the mosque as part of an effort to realize these youth development goals. Moving on from this, community service to increase the organizational capacity of IRMA Al-Mukminin was carried out. The purpose of the activity is to strengthen the understanding and organizational capacity of IRMA Al-Mukminin. The service method uses a transformative approach through the stages to know, identify problems, develop plans, take action, and build awareness in a sustainable manner. The results of community service activities were in the form of an increase in the organizational capacity of the Al-Mukminin Mosque Youth Association (IRMA) in Binawidya Village, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

The process of substantive patent examination which is complicated and takes a long time is one of the reasons the inventor is "reluctant" to apply for a patent on his invention. This research was conducted using the Current State Value Stream Mapping (CSVSM) method, which began with the creation of a process flow map with the cycle time of each activity. It is known that most of the activities are value added activities. However, there is 1 activity that is required but not added value, namely the activity of verifying the technical field of application documents; and 1 non-value-added activity, namely initialing the Patent Granting letter. The number of waiting/delaying incidents is a waste in the process of substantive examination of patent applications caused by: (a) employees generally do double work; and (b) the absence of SOPs in each sub-process/sub-activity in the process of substantive examination of patent applications. Proposed improvements are submitted in the Future State Value Stream Mapping (FSVSM). As a result, lead-time can be reduced to 11 days, which was originally 26 days; and Process Cycle Efficiency which was originally 19.23% increased to 45.45%
