Abstract

SMP Panglima Sudirman as an educational institution that has students from various cultures and religions. One of the religions in the school is Muslim. So that Islamic character education that focuses on the teachings of Luqmanul Hakim, Prophet Ibrahim, and Prophet Musa becomes the object of study in the implementation of the transformation of Islamic character education in an effort to form a superior generation at SMP Panglima Sudirman. Through qualitative research to explore the application of these values in the policies of those responsible for the school curriculum and their impact on the formation of student personality. It can be seen that through the research that has been carried out, it shows that the transformation of the teachings of the Qur'an in the curriculum, especially through the story of Luqmanul Hakim, Prophet Ibrahim, and Prophet Musa is reflected in the implementation of the policies of those responsible for the curriculum at SMP Panglima Sudirman. This contributes positively to forming students who have noble morals, have strong monotheism, and high enthusiasm for learning. In addition, the role of those responsible for the curriculum who support also helps in the development of students who excel academically, morally, and spiritually.

Abstract

The mental health issues faced by Gen Z are becoming increasingly complex due to rapid technological advancements and socio-cultural changes. Social pressures from social media, unrealistic self-comparisons, academic stress, demands for success, and excessive use of social media can exacerbate Gen Z's mental health conditions. Psychological support and holistic education are necessary to address these challenges. Buya Hamka offers an Islamic educational concept that can serve as an alternative in tackling the mental health crisis. This study employs a library research method and aims to explore the relevance of Buya Hamka's perspective on Islamic education in supporting Gen Z's mental health. The findings reveal that Buya Hamka's concept of Islamic education emphasizes the importance of aqidah (faith), akhlaq (morality), and the balance between intellect and soul in strengthening Gen Z's mental health. Aqidah provides a sense of life purpose, while akhlaq helps in managing emotions and social relationships. The balance between intellect and soul supports decision-making and emotional needs. This approach demonstrates the relevance of Islamic education from Buya Hamka's perspective in strengthening Gen Z's mental health.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan penerapan pedagogi multikultural dalam pendidikan sekolah, dengan tujuan utama untuk mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi guru dan sekolah, serta dampak yang ditimbulkannya terhadap pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, di mana data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur terkait pendidikan multikultural, termasuk jurnal, buku, dan laporan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama dalam penerapan pedagogi multikultural adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola keberagaman, serta kurangnya dukungan dari kebijakan pendidikan yang ada. Meskipun demikian, penelitian juga menemukan bahwa strategi penerapan yang efektif, seperti pengembangan kurikulum yang inklusif, dapat meningkatkan sikap toleransi siswa dan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pendidik, pemerintah, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif, sehingga mendorong pengembangan karakter siswa yang mampu menghargai perbedaan.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is qualitative research, a descriptive study type. The researcher uses qualitative research methods to obtain, study, and understand the phenomenon through in-depth data regarding the community's perspective on the practice of nista marriages in Pegayaman Village, Sukasada, Buleleng, Bali. This type of research uses descriptive research to explain and examine the phenomenon of nista marriages in Pegayaman Village from an 'Urf perspective. The researcher's data collection techniques are observation, documentation and interviews with informants from three categories, including other key informants from local community leaders, primary informants who are residents, and complementary informants who are migrants who live in the village and work in the village office. People in Bali use levels as identities according to their position, especially the Hindu population, which starts from the highest Brahmana, Ksatria, Waisya, and Sudra, the lowest caste. In contrast to the community in Pegayaman, where the majority of the population is Muslim, the level is implemented within the scope of marriage. Local traditions, empowerment, and community perceptions regarding nista marriages are the benchmarks for researchers analysing ancestral heritage from an Urf perspective. Binary opposition is used to explore the relationship between Islamic teachings and ancestral cultural heritage. The existence of 'Urf about Islamic teachings is the basis for the empirical facts of nista marriages in Pegayaman village. In studying the data obtained by researchers regarding slanderous marriages from the perspective of 'urf, it is limited to 'urf fasid, namely in nista marriages as the lowest level of marriage, which is contrary to the law and enriches the elements of family formation.
