Abstract

Terdapat fenomena keagamaan masyarakat urban yang lebih relijius dalam tiga dasawarsa belakangan ini. Masyarakat urban diketahui mencari model-model keagamaan tertentu untuk mengekspresikan kehidupan spritual mereka. Sifatnya sering kali simbolik yang bisa dilihat secara sederhana sebagai bagian keagamaan. Salah satu simbol ritual keagamaan tersebut melalui haul. Tulisan ini hendak ingin menjawab apakah yang memotivasi orang-orang untuk datang ke haul yang diadakan di pondok pesantren Al Fithrah, Surabaya. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan memakai teori motif milik Schütz. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa acara haul digunakan tidak saja sebagai ritual keagamaan yang diadakan oleh lembaga keagamaan tapi juga sebagai ajang wisata rohani dengan tujuan yang beragam. Dengan mengikuti haul mereka percaya bahwa mereka akan mendapat keberkahan dalam kehidupan mereka ke depannya. Sedangkan sebab mereka mengetahui haul di pesantren Al Fithrah terbagi pada dua pola; generasi tua lebih pada nasab keilmuan serta spritualitas sedangkan generasi muda lebih beragam.

Abstract

Masyarakat ASEAN adalah masyarakat negara-negara yang berada di Asia Tenggara dengan ragam budaya di dalamnya. Hanya sebagai sesama masyarakat dalam kultur tropis dengan basis agararia dan laut membuat masyarakat di wilayah ini menjadi memiliki rasa kebersamaan sehingga menjadikan mereka salingterhubung sebagai masyarakat ASEAN. Penelitian ini berangkat dari entitas masyarakat Asia Tenggara yang plural, lalu bagaimanakah entitas masyarakat ASEAN mengembangkan identitas budaya ASEAN dalam deklarasi Yogyakarta dan bagaimana cara mereka mengkomunikasikan identitas bersama tersebut. Untuk menjawab hal ini maka dilakukan penelitian dokumen pada acara deklarasi AMCA ke-8 di Yogyakarta  untuk kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan komunikasi multikultural. Temuan penelitian ini adalah mereka mencoba mencari titik temu sebagai identitas budaya bersama, hal ini dalam khazanah Islam disebut sebagai kalimat al-sawa’. Titik temu tesebut berupa nilai-nilai yang hidup dalam masyarakat ASEAN berupa masyarakat yang menekankan kehidupan yang damai, terbuka, sehat, dan harmoni.

Abstract

The world is currently suffering from the heat of terrorism with several religious background. Within Muslim communities, worries come up since particular terrorism actions lean upon Islam as the main source of inspiration. Academics question into this phenomenon, wheter Islam has a peaceful genetics. To answer this question remark, this research has been performed focusing on Islamic traditional education in Indonesia (salaf pesantren). The researcher focused on how the Islamic curriculum was created and applied in two Islamic institutions in East Java, Indonesia: i.e Pesantren Langitan and Pesantren Kedinding Lor to understand further the main ideology on these institutions. This research argues that peaceful ideology in salaf pesantren was created and applied on six religious subjects. Thye formulation appears from the intersectionality of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and Islamic mysticism (tasawuf and tarekat).

Abstract

Abstract: When the Covid-19 pandemic was declared officially entering Indonesia in February 2020, Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) were facing the tradition of pesantren holidays during Ramadan and Eid. When the Corona virus pandemic became more serious, the pesantren made several responses to deal with the corona pandemic. This study wants to answer how pesantren in East Java take policies regarding holidays and return to pesantren during this pandemic. This study argues that large Islamic boarding schools are more responsive to the handling of covid-19 than small pesantren. This research found at least two things; that Islamic boarding schools are advancing their Ramadan holiday schedules and postponing the schedule back to students, the second finding states that many pesantren do not meet the standards for handling covid-19 due to limited costs and pandemic literacy.Keywords: Pesantren, Policies, Covid-19Abstrak:  Saat pandemi Covid-19 dinyatakan resmi masuk ke Indonesia pada Februari 2020, Pesantren sedang menghadapi tradisi libur pesantren selama Ramadhan dan Idul Fitri. Saat pandemi virus Corona menjadi lebih serius, pihak pesantren kemudian melakukan beberapa respon untuk menghadapi pandemi corona tersebut. Penelitian ini ingin menjawab bagaimanakah pesantren di Jawa Timur mengambil kebijakan terkait masa libur dan kembali ke pesantren di masa pandemi ini.. Penelitian ini beragumen bahwa pesantren besar lebih responsif terhadap penanganan covid-19 dibanding pesantren kecil. Penelitian ini menemukan setidaknya dua hal; bahwa pesantren memajukan jadwal libur ramadhannya serta mengundurkan jadwal kembali pada santri, temuan kedua menyatakan bahwa banyak pesantren tidak memenuhi standar penanganan covid-19 karena keterbatasan biaya dan literasi pandemi.Kata kunci: Pesantren, kebijakan, Covid-19

Abstract

Abtsract The main factor in improving the quality of learning of reading and writing Qur'an among Muslims is human resources. In the context of education, teachers are the main actor to be improved. The aims are better output of learning. Teachers in the context of Islam is a guide for students. This study aims to determine how the teacher's role in an effort to improve the quality of reading the Qur'an at TPQ Al-Chusnaniyah Surabaya. To answer this, the researchers conducted a descriptive qualitative research with the methods of interview, observation, and documentation as the data collection technique. The finding is that in teaching and learning activities to read and write the Qur'an, the learning process becomes very important, especially in terms of giving concrete examples to students. The results of the teacher's role in efforts to improve learning activities to read and write the Qur'an are considered satisfactory, as evidenced by the increase in the number of students who can read the Qur'an properly and correctly.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 di dunia termasuk di Indonesia menyangkut kebijakan pemerintah, termasuk di bidang pendidikan. Dalam hal ini Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan memutuskan siswa untuk belajar di rumah dengan bimbingan orang tua. Dengan kebijakan ini, guru dituntut kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengerjakan kurikulum sesuai dengan situasi dan kebutuhan yang ada. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mempelajari kurikulum dan pembelajaran selama pandemi covid-19. Abstract

This article is the result of library research. This research is included in the category of normative legal research. This research discussion aims to explain the legal status of non-Muslim mothers in the context of post-divorce child care. The findings of this study are that according to the ulama' of the four schools of thought, the haānah rights of an apostate mother should not be granted. The argument that is built is that haānah does not only take care of physically but also includes children's religious education. The non-Muslim mother is feared to have a direct or indirect influence on the child. The legal status of an apostate also affects legal action. The apostasy reduces the ability to raise children, so the majority of scholars' abort the haānah rights for apostate mothers. KHI explains child custody/haānah in general as regulated in article 105. Parenting rights of non-Muslim mothers are not regulated by KHI. Abstract

This article is a result of a qualitative field research. This article discusses efforts to form a sakinah family. The research location is Jombang Regency. The data of this research are alumni of Madrasatul Qur'an Islamic boarding school Tebuireng Jombang who are domiciled in Jombang Regency. This study concludes that marriage counseling to maintain household harmony, one of which can be done independently through istiqamahan interacting with the Qur'an. This argument is based on data from the family of alumni who have memorized the Koran PP. Madrasataul Qur'an Tebuireng in Diwek district, Jombang. The alumni practice the routine of memorizing the Qur'an, always remembering Allah (taqarrub), tadarus Al-Qur`an every day, praying in congregation, being open between family members. The alumni carry out several family functions, namely educational, religious, protective, economic, and recreational functions. Keywords: marriage counseling, happy family, pesantren alumni. Abstract

Studying Islam is not enough just by studying it in bits and pieces. Islam can also be used as a scientific study with a note that it is studied in a completely and comprehensively appropriate approach or way. One approach that can be used in studying and understanding Islam is a rational-scientific approach. In this qualitative research, the author uses a literature review by taking from various reference sources that focus on discussing Islamic Studies from a rational and scientific point of view. The findings of this research believe that the rational point of view supports the function of reason in reasoning and helps solve existing problems. Likewise with the scientific point of view which is a positive integration between different perspectives, none other than the two perspectives above can benefit Islam's turn as a religion that contains values, teachings, principles, norms of life that are humane. and universal can be understood properly and correctly. The spirit to think is also supported by the teachings of Islam itself. This can be seen how the various styles of Al-Qur'an language to describe thinking activities and not monotonous. According to Ian Barbour, there are four approaches to conflict, independence, dialogue and integration. The method used is divided into four stages, namely observing a phenomenon, formulating tentative explanations, further observing and experimenting, refining and retesting explanations.

Abstract

The local curriculum that is part of the national curriculum has educational programs. One of the elements that must be maintained and maintained through educational activities is the values, traditions, culture, skills, and concepts prevailing in society. In recent years, the government implemented curriculum changes by adding local subjects. Through learning local subjects, it is expected that students will not only have academic knowledge that is global as expected but also have concern for social and cultural values that surround students. Researchers use the literature study method, which is a method of collecting data by understanding and studying theories from various literature related to the research. There are four stages of literature study in this research, namely preparing the necessary equipment, compiling a bibliography, managing time, and reading or recording research material. Conceptually, the locally-based curriculum consists of two forms. The first form is inherent in all subjects, and the second form is a separate activity that is not related to the subject.
