Abstract

Two-way communication, involving the processes of listening and responding, plays a crucial role in social interaction and education, particularly for early childhood. At the age of 4, children's communication abilities begin to develop more actively and complexly, affecting their language, emotional, and cognitive development. Effective communication from parents and educators, especially through active listening and appropriate responses, helps children develop language skills and strong emotional attachment. By giving full attention when children speak and responding empathetically, adults can build the child's confidence and motivation to learn. Furthermore, good two-way communication contributes to the child's social development, enhancing their ability to interact with others and fostering critical thinking. Optimal communication strategies, such as active listening, open-ended questions, and positive reinforcement, have proven effective in stimulating the social and cognitive development of young children.

Abstract

Setiap orang tua menginginkan anaknya menjadi orang yang berkepribadian yang baik,sikap mental yang sehat serta akhlak yang terpuji. Orang tua sebagai pembentuk pribadi yang pertama dalam kehidupan anak,dan harus menjadi teladan yang baik bagi anak-anaknya. Kepribadian orang tua,merupakan unsur-unsur pendidikan yang secara tidak langsung akan dicontoh oleh anak. Pola asuh orang tua merupakan keseluruhan interaksi antara orang tua dengan anak, dimana orang tua bermaksud menstimulasi anaknya dengan mengubah tingkah laku,pengetahuan serta nilai-nilai yang dianggap paling tepat oleh orang tua,agar anak dapat mandiri,tumbuh dan berkembang secara sehat dan optimal. Pola asuh yang diterapkan pada anak secara tidak langsiung akan berdampak kepada perkembangan yang dialami anak.kesalahan dalam pemilihan dan penerapan pola asuh pada anak dapat berakibat kepada kondisi mental anak. Orang tua dan pola asuh memiliki peran yang besar dalam menanamkan dasar keperibadian yang ikut menentukan corak dan gambaran keperibadian seseorang setelah dewasa kelak. Cara dan pola tersebut tentu akan berbeda antara satu keluarga dengan keluarga yang lainnya. Dalam kegiatan memberikan asuhan ini,orang tua akan memberikan perhatian,peraturan,disiplin,hadiah dan hukuman, serta tanggapan terhadap keinginan anaknya. Gambaran tersebut menjadi alasan untuk melihat bagaimana pola asuh yang diberikan orang tua kepada anak mereka yang mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental. Karena peran orangtua sangat penting keberadaanya bagi seorang anak.

Abstract

This community service aims to collect data on victims of violence against children in the Districts of Mandau, Rupat and Rupat Urata, and to assist victims of violence against children. The results of this dedication are case data in three sub-districts in Bengkalis Regency, namely Mandau District, Rupat District and North Rupat District, so data on cases of gender-based violence against children can be obtained in 2022, namely: In Mandau District there is 1 person, namely: 16 year old female with sexual harassment and rape cases, 1 person in Rupat District, namely: 11 year old female with sexual harassment case, 3 cases of sexual harassment in Rupat Utara District, namely 13 year old female with obscenity and rape cases, 13 year old male 13 years old with physical and psychological violence cases, 13 year old female with physical and psychological violence cases. The assistance carried out includes: Case Data Collection, Case Chronology Assessment, Assisting Victims to make reports at the Mandau Police, Conducting Counseling with the LK3 Alhi Team (Counselors) Against Victims, Together with the LK3 Expert Team (Counselors) Conducting Counseling to their parents and Closest Relatives, Referring Clients (Victims) to the Al-Ghasyiyah Orphanage to receive Guidance and Education.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and the transformation of learning methods in the modern era have brought positive impacts to children's education. However, these developments also pose challenges, including increasingly complex focus difficulties among children. These focus difficulties affect children's academic, social, and emotional aspects. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to focus difficulties, encompassing psychological and educational aspects, and their impact on the learning process. From a psychological perspective, focus difficulties are often linked to emotional conditions such as anxiety and disorders like ADHD. Meanwhile, educational factors include teaching methods, curricula, and less conducive learning environments. This research employs a literature review method, with data collection conducted by searching, reading, analyzing, and citing relevant information from available literature. The data obtained is analyzed using a content analysis approach. This study highlights the importance of a holistic approach, both through psychological interventions and adjustments in teaching methods, to create a learning environment that supports children's focus abilities. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for educators, parents, and psychologists in supporting children's optimal development through interactive and adaptive learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teachers in improving the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years because there are still many children who cannot recognize number symbols 1-10, lack of creativity in children in recognizing number symbols 1-10, lack of curiosity in recognizing number symbols 1-10 and lack of mentioning number symbols 1-10. From the several problems above, the purpose of this study is to find out what are the roles of teachers in improving the ability to recognize number symbols, by using a qualitative descriptive research type, this research technique with data collection used is observation, interviews, documentation. After conducting the research, it can be concluded that: the role of teachers in improving the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years is very important, this can be assessed from: (1). The role of teachers in improving the ability to recognize number symbols is to introduce number symbols 1-10 by teaching the smallest numbers first 1-10. (2) the role of teachers in improving the ability to recognize number symbols by preparing interesting media before the learning process takes place. Inhibiting and supporting factors in increasing the ability to recognize number symbols include: (1) internal factors, factors from the child, (2) external factors, namely family and environment. Family and environment also greatly influence children in increasing their abilities.
