Abstract

This research is to determine optimal profits in the Humala Pontas broiler chicken farming business by using linear programming, especially the simplex method, to solve this problem. The software used is POM-QM.  The results of this research show that there is an increase in profits obtained if you apply a linear program in the feed management process. The optimal profit obtained by implementing a linear program is Rp 86,460,940.00 for one harvest. The profit so far obtained by breeders is Rp. 84. 200,000.00. There is a profit difference of Rp. 2,260,940.00 by implementing a linear program in the feed and medicine management process.

Abstract

Life Expectancy (LE) is a key indicator for assessing the level of public health. North Sumatra Province still faces challenges in improving its LE, which remains below the national average. This study aims to compare three spatial models, namely: SAR, RSAR, and SARQR to model HLI in North Sumatra. Secondary data from 2023 for 33 districts/cities were obtained from the North Sumatra Provincial Statistics Agency, with HLI as the dependent variable and seven independent variables. The analysis began with multiple linear regression and classical assumption tests, followed by the formation of a spatial queen contiguity matrix, spatial effect tests (Moran's Index and Lagrange Multiplier), and modeling using the three spatial regression approaches. The results indicate that SARQR at the 0.1 quantile is the best model with the lowest AIC value (23.7764) and superiority in addressing spatial outliers. Therefore, SARQR at the 0.1 quantile is recommended as the optimal model for modeling AHH in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Fluktuasi harga emas yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor ekonomi global dan domestik mendorong pentingnya prediksi harga yang akurat sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan investasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan dan memprediksi harga emas 24 karat di Kota Medan dengan menggunakan metode Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder bulanan dari Januari 2020 hingga Desember 2023 yang diperoleh dari BPS Kota Medan. Melalui tahapan identifikasi stasioneritas, estimasi parameter, dan uji diagnostik model, ditemukan bahwa model terbaik adalah ARIMA (1,2,1). Model ini menunjukkan nilai Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) sebesar 9,13%, yang mengindikasikan tingkat akurasi prediksi yang sangat baik. Hasil prediksi menunjukkan tren kenaikan harga emas sepanjang tahun 2024, dengan nilai tertinggi mencapai Rp1.109.817 pada bulan Desember. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi strategis bagi masyarakat dan investor dalam merencanakan investasi emas yang lebih bijak.
