Abstract

Tingkat kematian akibat COVID-19 saat ini sangatlah mengkhawatirkan. Pada pasien dengan komorbid (penyakit pembawa) tingkat kematian semakin tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komorbid apa saja yang berisiko kematian akibat COVID-19 berdasarkan ketepatan datang pengobatan di RSU Haji Kota Medan, dengan menggunakan metode LASSO (Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator). Keunggulan metode ini adalah mendapatkan hasil koefisien nol atau mendekati nol, yang menyebabkan terseleksinya variabel independen dengan diketahui koefisien dari usia, kadar gula darah, tekanan darah, hemoglobin, kreatinin dan saturasi oksigen. Berdasarkan koefisien hemoglobin memiliki nilai tertinggi dan menjadi variabel independen yang berpengaruh terhadap kematian akibat COVID-19. Hemoglobin dapat mempengaruhi tingkat oksigen di dalam tubuh karena saturasi oksigen adalah presentase hemoglobin yang mengikat oksigen. Jika tekanan hemoglobin turun menyebabkan sesak nafas sampai meyebabkan sesak nafas sampai menyebabkan kematian. Sehingga hemoglobin menjadi variabel independen yang berpengaruh terhadap kematian akibat COVID -19.

Abstract

Buku merupakan salah satu media untuk memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan dan wawasan yang baru, karena buku ibarat jendela dunia yang mampu menelusuri berbagai penjuru hanya dengan membaca buku. Setiap buku memiliki genre yang beraneka ragam, sehingga dapat menjadi opsi dalam menentukan bahan bacaan yang sesuai dengan minat masing-masing. Untuk mengetahui genre yang diminati dapat menggunakan sistem pengambilan keputusan. Sistem pengambilan keputusan adalah sistem yang mampu memberikan penyelesaian terhadap permasalahan yang ada, sehingga hasil datanya terstruktur. Dalam penelitian ini, data diambil dari referensi terkait dan hasil penyebaran kuesioner kepada Generasi Milenial di Kota Medan. Kemudian data diolah menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Karakteristik khusus dari metode AHP ialah menghasilkan variabel yang mempunyai prioritas yang tertinggi sehingga memengaruhi pengambilan keputusan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini menghasilkan urutan kriteria dan alternatif paling prioritas dalam menentukan genre buku yang diminati oleh Generasi Milenial di Kota Medan. Peringkat prioritas kriteria yang tertinggi adalah kualitas dengan nilai 0,319 (31,9 %). Sedangkan peringkat prioritas alternatif yang tertinggi adalah genre self improvement dengan nilai 0,298 (29,8 %).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the optimization of transportation costs for sending packages on the Nugraha Ekakurir route in North Sumatra using the Russell Approximation Method (RAM). This research is quantitative research conducted at This research was conducted at the JNE Company, Medan Main Branch. Based on the research results, to optimize transportation costs for sending JNE packages in North Sumatra using the Russell Approximation Method, the overall cost allocation is much lower. Based on the test results, the initial solution obtained using the Russell Approximation Method achieved optimal solution results. The conclusion from the results of this research was that transportation costs decreased by 13.4%. The resulting optimal cost is Rp. 9,262,700 and initial costs of Rp. 10,700,000. Abstract

This research focuses on optimizing healthcare services to find the optimal values for inpatient ward capacity and room allocation for patients to enhance the efficiency and quality of healthcare services in hospitals. The method employed in this study is the multi-objective optimization method with two objective functions. The solution is executed using the simplex method with the POM application on the Windows operating system. Hospitals face challenges managing limited resources, including inpatient ward space and staff, while ensuring timely and effective patient care. This study addresses these challenges using a multi-objective optimization approach that simultaneously considers multiple objectives. The research considers several key factors, such as the number of incoming and outgoing patients, the capacity of inpatient ward rooms, and the initial diagnosis of patients' health conditions. By optimizing these variables, the research aims to identify the most efficient way to allocate resources and maximize patient care quality. The research results indicate that the optimal capacity for accommodating patients in the Inpatient Ward of Mitra Medika Hospital is 1,400.88 patients, with a minimum requirement of 48 rooms for inpatient care. This optimization improves resource utilization and enhances patient satisfaction by reducing wait times and ensuring the availability of the appropriate facilities for their needs.

Abstract

The broiler farming business in Indonesia continues to grow in order to meet animal protein needs and increase farmers' income. One of the challenges in this negative is determining efficient distribution routes to optimize travel distance and operational costs. Ayam Berkah Sejahtera, a broiler chicken distribution business in North Sumatra, does not yet have optimal routes, so the distribution process is often hampered by travel time and high costs. This research aims to determine the distribution route for broiler chickens using the Fuzzy TOPSIS method. Fuzzy TOPSIS is a multi-criteria decision making method that helps identify the best solution based on the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest distance from the negative ideal solution. The implementation of this method considers distance, delivery time, vehicle capacity and distribution costs to reach an optimal solution. The analysis results show that Fuzzy TOPSIS has succeeded in increasing the distribution efficiency of Ayam Berkah Sejahtera, speeding up delivery times, and reducing operational costs. This method also provides adjustments in dynamic distribution adjustments, making it suitable for application in multi-criteria distributions. With more optimized distribution routes, companies can achieve better performance and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is to determine optimal profits in the Humala Pontas broiler chicken farming business by using linear programming, especially the simplex method, to solve this problem. The software used is POM-QM.  The results of this research show that there is an increase in profits obtained if you apply a linear program in the feed management process. The optimal profit obtained by implementing a linear program is Rp 86,460,940.00 for one harvest. The profit so far obtained by breeders is Rp. 84. 200,000.00. There is a profit difference of Rp. 2,260,940.00 by implementing a linear program in the feed and medicine management process.

Abstract

Violence against women is a pervasive issue in society. Violence often encompasses various forms, such as physical, psychological, economic, and sexual violence. This research employs the Tahani fuzzy logic method to predict cases of violence against women. The results of the analysis in query fuzzification indicate that there are 16 districts experiencing high number of cases of violence against women, namely: Asahan, Batu Bara, Dairi, Deli Serdang, Karo, Binjai, Gunung Sitoli, Pematang Siantar, Tanjung Balai, Labuhan Batu Utara, Labuhan Batu, Langkat, Padang Lawas Utara, and Simalungun. This research also provides recommendations based on detection results, utilizing the fire strength value as the highest-level ranking. Looking at the total 33 districts in North Sumatra, the highest level of violence against women is in Medan, which occurred from July to December 2022, where all four criteria for typical cases of violence against women are significantly high.

Abstract

Reviewed and with the increasing public awareness of skin health, soap manufacturers are competing to offer their products with various fragrances, forms, and benefits to the public. Each individual certainly has different criteria in choosing bath soap products, such as packaging, product price, product fragrance, type and form, and so on. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that serve as the basis for each individual in choosing bath soap products by implementing the Elimination et Choix Traduisant la Réalité II (ELECTRE II) method. The ELECTRE II method uses simple criteria, namely setting the same threshold value for all criteria. In contrast, other methods use pseudo criteria where the threshold value is not the same for all criteria. The ELECTRE II method is one of the Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) methods that is effective in determining ranking, as it involves both qualitative and quantitative criteria. Based on the research results, product quality becomes the priority factor in choosing bath soap products, with a Concordance value of 1.375 and a Discordance value of -1.80063, as well as the highest average rank, which is 1. The product price factor ranks second, followed by the skin condition factor in third place, and the product fragrance factor, which ranks last with an average rank of 4.
