Abstract

Bullying cases in schools have not been resolved optimally. This is very concerning and disturbing for those in the world of education because bullying behavior can have an impact on student behavior in the form of greater aggression in the future. In addition, it can also cause psychological disorders in the form of depression for victims. Providing effective intervention for perpetrators of bullying must be adjusted to the emotional condition of the perpetrator as well as the victim. Thus, one of the right approaches is to provide rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). The basic assumption of the REBT approach is that it can improve the resilience of students who are victims of bullying to be better. This is proven after REBT counseling, students who are victims of bullying can still adapt to difficult situations and can carry out activities at school.

Abstract

Abstract: Higher Order Thinking Skill is the ability to think critically, logically and creatively which includes the ability to analyze, evaluate and create. The problem in this research is the low ability of students to think at a high level, this has a negative impact on students considering that HOTS skills are important in facing the industrial revolution in the 21st century era. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping Technique on Students' Higher Order Thinking Skills. The design of this research is a quasi experiment nonequivalent control group design. With a population of 239 students, and a sample of 10 people with low HOTS abilities based on pre-test results. The data collection technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection methods used were questionnaires as the main method, observation methods, interviews and documentation as complementary methods. Data analysis uses the T-test formula. Based on the results of data analysis, the tcount value was (6.485), while the t-table value at the 5% significance level was (2.262). Because t-hitung is greater than the ttable value (6,485 > 2.262), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So the results of this research show that the Mind Mapping Technique is effective for the Higher Order Thinking Skills of Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Mataram for the 2023 academic year. "Significant" Abstrak: Higher Order Thinking Skill merupakan kemampuan berfikir kritis, logis, dan kreatif yang meliputi kemampuan menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menciptakan. Adapun permasalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam berfikir tingkat tinggi, hal ini berdampak buruk bagi siswa mengingat kemampuan HOTS penting dalam menghadapi revolusi industri di era abad ke-21. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Teknik Mind Mapping Terhadap Kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill Siswa. Desain penelitian ini yaitu quasy experiment nonequivalent control group design. Dengan populasi berjumlah 239 siswa, dan sampel sebanyak 10 orang dengan kemampuan HOTS yang rendah berdasarkan hasil pre-test. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket sebagai metode pokok, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai metode pelengkap. Analisis data menggunakan rumus T-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar (6,485), sedangkan untuk nilai t-tabel pada taraf signifikasi 5% sebesar (2,262). Karena t-hitung lebih besar dari nilai ttabel (6.485 > 2,262), maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Teknik Mind Mapping efektif terhadap kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skill siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Mataram Tahun Pelajaran 2023. “Signifikan”.

Abstract

Abstract: Fear is a complex emotional symptom and can cause individuals to become anxious, panicked, and not well controlled. The problem that many students experience is experiencing fear when facing semester exams which is described by being nervous, hands getting cold, and shaking. In addition, the impact of this fear will encourage students to be dishonest in the exam process and commit fraud such as cheating and this is not allowed because it is cheating in terms of academics. Based on these problems, the alternative solution that can be used is to apply t*he Experiential Learning method. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an Effect of the Experiential Learning Method on Fear of Facing Semester Exams at VIII  grade Students of SMPN 13 Mataram .The goal to be achieved in this research is to determine the Effect of the Experiential Learning Method on Fear of Facing Semester Exams at VIII  grade Students of SMPN 13 Mataram. The technique of collecting data is the questionnaire method as the main method and the method of documentation, observation, and interviews/interviews as a complementary method and the data analysis technique in this study uses the t-test formula. The results of the calculation using the t-test show the t-count value of 10.103 and the t-table value at a significance level of 5% with db (N-1) = 11 of 2.201. Thus, the t-count value is greater than the t-value in the table (10.103>2.201). So it can be concluded that there is Effect of the Experiential Learning Method on Fear of Facing Semester Exams at VIII  grade Students of SMPN 13 Mataram, the results of this study are significant. Abstrak: Rasa takut merupakan gejala emosional yang kompleks dan dapat menyebabkan individu menjadi cemas, panik, dan tidak terkontrol dengan baik. Permasalahan yang banyak di alami oleh siswa adalah mengalami ketakutan saat akan menghadapi ujian semester yang digambarkan melaui sikap grogi, tangan menjadi dingin, dan gemeteran. Selain itu, dampak dari rasa takut tersebut akan mendorong siswa menjadi tidak jujur dalam proses ujian dan melakukan kecurangan seperti mencontek dan hal tersebut tidak diperbolehkan karena merupakan kecurangan dalam hal akademik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka alternatif solusi yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Experiental Learning. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada Pengaruh Metode Experiental Learning Terhadap Perasaan Takut Menghadapi Ujian Semester Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 13 Mataram Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Metode Experiental Learning Terhadap Perasaan Takut Menghadapi Ujian Semester Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 13 Mataram. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode angket sebagai metode pokok dan metode dokumentasi, observasi, serta wawancara/interview sebagai metode pelengkap dan Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus t-test. Hasil perhitungan mengggunakan t-test menunjukan nilai t-hitung sebesar 10,103 dan nilai t-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan db (N-1) = 11 sebesar 2,201. Dengan demikian nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari pada nilai t pada table (10,103>2,201) Sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada Pengaruh Metode Experiental Learning Terhadap Perasaan Takut Menghadapi Ujian Semester Siswa SMPN 13 Mataram maka hasil penelitian ini dinyatakan Signifikan.
