Abstract

This service to society is motivated by several important things, including; First, the increasingly rapid advances in technology and information require humans to be able to adapt to these developments, both by designing them, getting to know them, as well as operating and utilizing them. From a positive side, this can facilitate activities or transactions as well as human interaction in the virtual/digital world. Second, the majority of Indonesian people, especially in urban areas, still do not know or use technology for business activities. This is of course based on various things, including educational factors and experience factors. Furthermore, for rural communities as downstream communities, of course in time they will also experience adjustments to the development of this technology, so they are required to be able to understand and utilize it.   This community service aims to introduce technology for business activities and how to utilize various technological applications in digital business transactions and interactions. The result of this community service is that the perpetrators of the UMKM activities Songgo Jati Venue and Resto, Sentra Kota, Jl. Caman Raya No. 16 Block E3, Jatibening, Kec. Pondok Gede, Bekasi, West Java has understood the urgency and benefits of social media marketing as an effective marketing tool to increase MSME business activities. Some of the social media applications that have been practiced by MSMEs are websites, market places, social media (face book ads, tik tok ads, and instagram ads), and e-commerce, for example go food, shopee.

Abstract

Pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan laporan keuangan berbasis spreadsheet ditujukan untuk pelaku UMKM perempuan yang tergabung dalam Komunitas Sahabat Genggam Teman Indonesia ( GTI ) di Kota Bekasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 23 Juli 2025 di Laboratorium Komputer Kampus UNM sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan program Hibah DPPM Tahun 2025 dari Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi (Kemdiktisaintek). Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah rendahnya kemampuan dalam pencatatan keuangan dan belum adanya sistem dokumentasi keuangan yang terstruktur. Pelatihan ini menggunakan beberapa metode, yakni metode ceramah untuk penyampaian materi, metode praktik yang melibatkan peserta dalam latihan penyusunan laporan keuangan usaha, serta metode diskusi yang memungkinkan interaksi antara peserta dan narasumber dalam mencari solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi. Pelatihan mencakup pengenalan akuntansi dasar, siklus akuntansi, pengenalan akun, aturan debit dan kredit, serta praktik penyusunan laporan keuangan menggunakan spreadsheet otomatis. Evaluasi pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 90%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan spreadsheet merupakan solusi praktis yang efektif untuk mendukung transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan keuangan UMKM.

Abstract

Workshop on strengthening branding, storytelling, and social media-based promotion has been carried out to help female culinary entrepreneurs in the Sahabat Genggam Teman Indonesia (GTI) Community in Bekasi City enhance their digital skills. The training took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the computer laboratory of Universitas Nusa Mandiri Jatiwaringin, Central Jakarta, as part of the 2025 DPPM Grant Program from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). This community service activity aimed to improve the digital skills of female culinary entrepreneurs in the Sahabat GTI Community in Bekasi City through training in branding, storytelling, and social media-based promotion. The challenges faced were low understanding of consistent branding, effective storytelling techniques, and appropriate digital promotion. The methods used in this activity included practical training, simulations, and interactive discussions focused on improving participants' skills in creating logo designs, crafting product narratives, and utilizing social media as an effective promotional tool. The results of the training showed significant improvement, with an average increase of 85%, especially in branding and the use of social media for promotion. This training successfully provided a positive impact in enhancing participants' digital competence, which in turn can improve the competitiveness of their culinary businesses in the digital market. Empowering female MSME entrepreneurs through this training opens opportunities for the development of more professional and sustainable local culinary businesses in the global market.
