Abstract

Educational literacy based on local wisdom still needs to be improved among the children of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Malaysia, specifically at the Sungai Mulia 05 Gombak Kuala Lumpur Learning Studio. Literacy is focused on strengthening national character and belonging to a sense of nationalism in one's country of origin. Based on this background, it is necessary to carry out international community service which is facilitated through the NU (Nahdlatul Ulama) higher education community in Indonesia. Implementation of the service takes 4 months (August-November 2024). Pre-implementation stages of coordination, MoU and MoA for 2 months, activity orientation (1 month) followed by introduction to Indonesian Local Wisdom Education, questions and answers and reflection or follow up on activities (1 month). The method of implementing service is through lectures, demonstrations and direct questions and answers with activity participants. The results obtained increased participants' understanding of local wisdom-based education literacy in Indonesia with the aim of paying attention to learning motivation and being able to strengthen the national character of the country of origin of Indonesia. The participants' responses were very varied, including only a small number of participants who knew iconic areas in Indonesia. The achievement of international service activities was 76.4% very good response. The benchmark for the success of this activity is to familiarize students with carrying out teaching and learning activities more focused and maximally. Applying appropriate learning methods can increase students' interest and enthusiasm for learning. As a follow-up to the activity, the learning studio participants have the enthusiasm to continue their education to junior high school level in Indonesia and strengthen their national character as the successor to the golden generation of 2045. Because the available learning studios are not like formal educational institutions in general, so they must be one of the considerations in evaluation and follow-up regarding the quality of education provision.

Abstract

Awareness in nutritional fulfillment has a role in achieving optimal daily nutritional fulfillment. This lack of awareness related to nutrition will cause nutritional problems, one of which is stunting. Lendah is one of the areas that has a high number of stunting compared to other sub-districts in Kulon Progo (DataKu, 2022). The stunting rate in Lendah reached 211 toddlers. Alternatively, one way to overcome stunting is to work together through organizations in the community. Women have an important role in increasing nutritional awareness. Through the Women Farmers Group (KWT), women can be actively involved in utilizing the potential of natural resources to increase nutritional awareness. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the role of KWT and the level of nutrition awareness through the Movement to Plant Food in the Yard (GEMPAR) and the Farmers Market program at KWT Bangun. This research was carried out in Ledok Hamlet, Sidorejo Village, Lendah District, Kulon Progo Regency. Data collection was carried out through interviews with 30 KWT members. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and Spearman Rank correlation analysis. The results of the study show that the role of KWT as a learning class is in the category of playing a very role, while as a vehicle for cooperation and production units is included in the category of playing a role. For the level of nutritional awareness, it is in the high category. The relationship between KWT's role as a learning class and a vehicle for cooperation with the level of nutrition awareness through the GEMPAR and Farmers Market programs is in the medium category. Meanwhile, the role of KWT as a production unit for nutrition awareness is included in the weak category. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the role of production units in order to increase the relationship to increase nutritional awareness

Released from majority of Indonesia people , especially the bureaucrats, researchers and agriculture decision makers are still confused about organic farming, exactly it is starting to appear now and the principle agent is an economic profit. The goals of this experiment are : 1.To compare the differences between organic farmings profits and conventional system (non organic farming). 2. To know the labors productivity in organic rice farm operation 3.To know the suitability of organic rice farm operation. The experiment is done in Pandak Sub district, Bantul Regency. The determination of respondents at 30 farmers done by simple random appropriate system to farmers who plant organic rice at May - August 2005. To know the profit differences between organic rice and non organic rice are analyzed by using one sample t test. The labors productivity is measured by comparing income per labor. The suitable exertion is analyzed by profit analysis, RC ratio and rentability. Analysis result shows that there is no difference between rice farm operation with conventional system and organic farm system. The labors productivity on organic rice farm operation is 56.928, is still higher than labors income in experiments location. The suitable exertion analysis is estimated by R/C ratio and rent ability. R/c ratios value is 1,81, whereas rent abilitys value is 81 %, so can be concluded that rice farm operation is suitable to be done.
