Abstract

Di era sekarang ini, Pembelajaran bahasa asing menjadi materi yang sangat penting di sekolah. Hal ini terlihat pada negara kita sendiri, yang mana kurikulum pembelajaran bahasa asing telah di implementasikan pada hampir semua tingkat pendidikan. Tujuan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Asing kepada anak-anak di Desa Kabita adalah karena Kabupaten Wakatobi merupakan sebuah daerah dengan sektor pariwisata yang luas menjadikan Wakatobi salah satu destinasi wisata yang kunjungi oleh turis sehingga pemahaman Bahasa Asing menjadi sangat penting dalam mengenalkan kebudayan dan kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh Kabupaten Wakatobi khususnya Desa Kabita. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Develpment) dimana kami mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh Desa Kabita dalam hal ini meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang ada di Desa Kabita. Pendampingan pembelajaran Bahasa Asing memiliki hasil yang signifikan dengan anak-anak Desa Kabita yang sudah mulai mengenal Bahasa Asing seperti Bahasa Arab dan Inggris dalam berhitung, bernyanyi, serta pengenalan kosa kata yang banyak.  Berdasarkan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dalam memberikan pembelajaran Bahasa Asing, kami memberikan tawaran kepada para pemerintah Kabupaten Wakatobi untuk memberikan ruang dan sarana dalam peningkatan Bahasa Asing bagi anak-anak Desa Kabita.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Anak-anak, Pembelajaran Bahasa Asing

Abstract

Kelompok KKN 76 Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar bertempat di Desa Maddenra, Kecamatan Kulo, Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang (SIDRAP) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian masyarakat. KKN ini dilaksanakan selama 45 hari sejak tanggal 8 Januari hingga 21 Februari 2025. Kegiatan utama yang dilakukan yaitu asistensi mengajar serta Bidang tambahan lain. Kegiatan KKN ini bertujuan untuk mengupayakan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan terutama di Desa Maddenra. Metode pelaksanaan KKN ini terdiri dari kegiatan survey atau observasi serta perencanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan mahasiswa KKN mendapat sambutan dan respon yang cukup baik dari pihak terkait. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya kerjasama antara mahasiswa KKN dengan pihak terkait, seperti guru, masyarakat desa, serta  aparat desa. Kegiatan KKN ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat baik bagi masyarakat, apparat desa, serta pihak terkait maupun bagi mahasiswa KKN.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools requires learning media that facilitate students to explore knowledge in a fun way through games. One of them is through the Engklek traditional games that integrate technology. For this reason, this study aims to develop Engklek traditional games equipped with QR-Code for science learning of photosynthesis material for grade 4 in elementary schools. This study uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires for validation and practicality tests. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results of this study indicate that from the perspective of teachers and students, media are needed to learn photosynthesis material that can facilitate student activity and involvement. This product was developed using the ADDIE stage, which only includes the analysis, design, and development stages. The characteristics of this media are that it is a banner measuring 200 x 400 cm with a mountain-model. Engklek game design is equipped with a QR-Code card, which is used as an object for presenting material in the form of animated videos, charts, reading tables, and quiz questions. Based on the validity test by material experts and media experts, the product has been categorized as very feasible. Based on the practicality test, the media has also been declared very practical by both teachers and students. Thus, the Engklek traditional games equipped with QR-Code can be recommended for use in science learning of photosynthesis material for grade 4 in elementary schools.

Abstract

Assessment of teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Bontang has not been carried out optimally, especially in assessing teacher performance. Teacher performance is only determined by their work, there are no clear assessment criteria. Therefore, in this study a teacher assessment will be developed based on competency, which can accommodate teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to design a decision support system using the Moora method to evaluate the performance of teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Bontang. The method used is the moora method which is applied to a decision support system to carry out the selection process for outstanding teachers. In determining the outstanding teachers, first determine the value in each aspect and determine the weighting of each sub-criteria on each criterion. The results of the system design show that the application of the Moora method to the achievement teacher assessment system at SMP Negeri 2 Bontang can provide objective decision results for 49 teachers. In the calculation process, the Moora method provides 4 preference criteria to be used by decision makers, namely training scores, attendance, seminar scores, and achievements. Selection of Preferences because it can be changed according to the needs of the criteria.

Abstract

Syzygium myrtifolium Walp. is an ornamental plant traditionally used as an herbal medicine. Ethanol extract of Syzygium myrtifolium Walp. has been reported to have activities as an antioxidant, anticancer, and antimicrobial. In this study, Syzygium myrtifolium Walp is extracted. Leaves were carried out using a multistage maceration method using methanol, ethyl acetate, and hexane solvents. Antioxidant, antimicrobial, and toxicity tests were performed, and secondary metabolite compounds, total flavonoid content, and total phenolic content were identified on red leaf extract. Total phenolic content was tested using the Folin-Ciocalteau reagent, total flavonoids with the AlCl3 reagent, antioxidants with the DPPH method, antimicrobial using the disc diffusion method, and toxicity tested using the BSLT method. The result showed that Syzygium myrtifolium Walp. Red leaf extract contained a secondary metabolite of triterpenoids, steroids, phenolics, flavonoids, alkaloids, and coumarins. The ethyl acetate and methanol extract's total phenolic and flavonoid content were 311.0520 and 420.360 mg GAE/g extract and 211.788 and 105.360 mg QE/g extract. Antioxidant activity of ethyl acetate and methanol showed that the extracts were highly antioxidant with IC50 of 19.606 and 12.0656 mg/L. The antimicrobial activity showed that the hexane extract was resistant to the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acnes and the fungus Candida albicans. However, no inhibition zones were produced for Pseudomonas aerigunosa and Escherichia coli bacteria. The toxicity test showed that the hexane and ethyl acetate extract had strong toxic properties with LC50 of 56.65 and 16.79 mg/L, and the methanol extract was toxic with LC50 of 224.2846 mg/L.
