Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the digital AUM Seri-Umum application based on school counselors’ perceptions after attending a structured workshop. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 37 guidance and counseling teachers who participated in the training. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering clarity of materials, ease of use, workshop convenience, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, and intention to use, complemented by open-ended responses. Descriptive statistics and thematic coding were employed in the analysis. Findings show that the application was very well received, with a composite mean score of 4.93, indicating highly positive perceptions. Counselors highlighted the clarity of instructions, user-friendly navigation, and strong practical benefits in managing student problems efficiently. Notably, 100% of participants expressed satisfaction and intention to continue using the application, with enthusiasm to join future workshops. These results confirm that the digitalization of AUM Seri-Umum is a strategic innovation supporting more effective, efficient, and data-driven counseling services in schools

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital di bidang bimbingan dan konseling membuka peluang baru dalam memetakan relasi sosial siswa. Aplikasi Sociomap hadir sebagai inovasi yang mendukung guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK) memahami dinamika sosial peserta didik. Namun, tingkat kepuasan guru BK terhadap pemanfaatan aplikasi ini dalam pelatihan perlu dievaluasi, khususnya dengan memperhatikan faktor demografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif-deskriptif dengan melibatkan guru BK SLTA sebagai responden workshop. Instrumen berupa kuesioner Likert 1–5 digunakan untuk menilai kejelasan materi, kemudahan penggunaan, kenyamanan workshop, kebermanfaatan, kepuasan fasilitas, dan niat menggunakan aplikasi. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif  binomial test. Tingkat kepuasan peserta workshop berada pada kategori tinggi di semua kelompok demografi. Faktor demografi yang paling berpengaruh tampak pada pengalaman mengajar dan usia, di mana guru dengan pengalaman menengah serta usia produktif lebih menunjukkan antusiasme dan kepuasan tinggi terhadap pemanfaatan aplikasi Sociomap. Workshop pemanfaatan Sociomap memberikan pengalaman positif dan relevan bagi guru BK dalam memetakan relasi sosial siswa. Tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi menunjukkan potensi integrasi aplikasi ini dalam layanan konseling di sekolah. Ke depan, pengembangan fitur dan pendampingan lanjutan disarankan untuk memperkuat keberlanjutan penggunaan teknologi ini.

Abstract

Parental burnout has emerged as a critical issue among Generation Z parents in the context of increasing caregiving demands, economic pressures, and modern parenting expectations. This study aims to synthesize empirical and conceptual evidence on the impact of parental burnout on parent and child relationships among Generation Z parents. A Narrative Literature Review (NLR) was conducted by examining peer-reviewed journal articles indexed in Scopus published between 2021 and 2026. The literature was thematically analyzed to identify major patterns, psychological mechanisms, protective factors, and demographic and cultural contexts shaping the experience of burnout. The synthesis indicates that parental burnout is significantly associated with increased parent and child conflict, reduced emotional intimacy, and diminished family cohesion, with a bidirectional and self-reinforcing relationship between caregiving exhaustion and relational difficulties. The effects of burnout are mediated by emotional exhaustion, harsh parenting, low parental empathy, and impaired emotion regulation, whereas adaptive emotion regulation, coparenting quality, social support, and family resilience function as protective factors. Gender differences moderate both the experience and consequences of burnout, with mothers experiencing greater emotional impacts and paternal burnout being more closely linked to children’s psychological well-being. Personality traits, socioeconomic conditions, individualistic cultural orientations, and urban living further contribute to variations in burnout among Generation Z parents. Overall, parental burnout among Generation Z parents represents a dynamic and transactional process shaped by the interaction of emotional, behavioral, personality, and contextual factors, underscoring the need for multidimensional and gender-sensitive interventions to break the burnout–conflict cycle and safeguard children’s emotional well-being.
