Abstract

Sosialisasi ini diadakan berdasarkan analisis kondisi ibu rumah tangga di Desa Bato yang masih kurang dalam meningkatkan kemampuan keuangan di luar rutinitas rumah tangga. Hal ini disebabkan oleh terbatasnya pengetahuan mengenai kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini, diharapkan ibu rumah tangga dapat membuka wawasan mengenai potensi diri mereka dalam berkreasi dan berkontribusi dalam perekonomian keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyajian materi yang disertai dengan sesi tanya jawab untuk menggali potensi dan keterampilan yang dimiliki peserta. Selain itu, sosialisasi ini juga bertujuan untuk membangun motivasi dan kepercayaan diri peserta melalui diskusi dan pendekatan emosional. Pemaparan materi disampaikan dengan cara yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami agar peserta dapat mengaplikasikannya dengan baik. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan pendapatan keluarga melalui usaha yang dikelola oleh ibu rumah tangga, perbaikan kualitas hidup keluarga melalui peningkatan akses terhadap pendidikan, kesehatan, dan infrastruktur, serta penguatan peran ibu rumah tangga sebagai agen perubahan dalam keluarga dan masyarakat. Beberapa usaha yang dapat dikembangkan setelah sosialisasi ini antara lain program home industry seperti pengolahan makanan dan kerajinan tangan, pembentukan koperasi ibu rumah tangga untuk meningkatkan akses ke modal dan pasar, serta pembangunan pusat pelatihan keterampilan vokasional bagi ibu rumah tangga.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the determination of antioxidant activity using the parameters of Bond Dissociation Enthalpy (BDE), Single Electron Transfer-Proton Transfer (SET-PT), Proton Affinity (PA), and Electron Transfer Enthalpy (ETE) of myricetin, quercetin, and kaempferol compounds. Furthermore, through the geometric stages using the AM1 semi-empirical method. The results obtained showed that myricetin compounds have better antioxidant activity compared to quercetin and kaempferol compounds by considering the results of high BDE values, low SET-PT, high PA, and low ETE.

Abstract

Household food waste is a type of organic waste that is still a problem in the Bato Village environment. Although food waste is easily decomposed, if it is not managed properly it can trigger environmental problems. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing education and methods for processing household food waste so that it can become a product with economic value. The method of this community service activity was carried out by delivering educational materials and videos regarding the processing of organic food waste, which was carried out in the multipurpose room of the village head of Bato together with the PKK mothers of Bato Village, Pariaman City. Based on the results of community service, all paticipants were enthusiastic about listening to education on organis waste processing during the series of activities. Participants paid close attention to the video tutorial on the stages carried out for processing household food waste to become H. Illunces fly larvae (maggots). These larvae are a product produced from processing food waste that can be used as feed for fish, such as catfish, tilapia, and gourami. In addition, maggots produced on a large scale can be dried and packaged economically for sale.

Abstract

Efforts to increase public knowledge about rhizome plants (ginger, turmeric and lemongrass) which can be used as herbal or natural medicine. Opening the insight of the people of Bato village in increasing their immune system to reduce the increase in degenerative diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol. We carry out community service activities for Bato Village PKK mothers. In this activity, bioactive compounds from ginger, turmeric and lemongrass rhizomes were introduced and their benefits for the body. Overall, community service activities were able to run well and were conducive, this can be seen from the many questions asked by PKK women who gained new knowledge about the benefits of rhizome plant
