Abstract

This article explores the concept of "Everyday Peace" in North Lombok, Indonesia, focusing on how this diverse region maintains ethno-religious harmony. Drawing upon Roger Mac Ginty's concept of "everyday peace," the study highlights the crucial role of local actors, rather than international interventions, in peacebuilding through daily routines, norms, and community interactions. North Lombok, despite its religious and ethnic diversity, has successfully avoided conflicts often seen in other parts of Lombok. Key factors contributing to this peace include the acceptance of differences, freedom of worship, and connectivity through interfaith collaboration. The article illustrates how local communities, youth groups, traditional leaders, and the government work together to promote tolerance, with religious festivals and community events serving as platforms for peaceful coexistence.  Employing an explanatory research method, the study investigates the cause-and-effect relationships within this social phenomenon, elucidating the observed dynamics by illustrating the positions and relationships between variables based on factual field observations. This approach goes beyond mere description, providing evidence for various possible explanations within the phenomenon. Primary data collection involves direct engagement in the field through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, while secondary data is sourced from reputable books, journals, and websites relevant to the research topic. The study concludes that everyday peace, rooted in local traditions and mutual respect, is a viable model for managing diversity and preventing conflict in multicultural societies. This approach, integrating local values and international frameworks, offers valuable insights for peacebuilding in other heterogeneous regions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the training and human resource development program in Happy Kue Lompong MSMEs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the data was collected through observation and interviews, and then analyzed with the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that the program is implemented according to employees' needs and working conditions, aiming to increase their understanding, motivation, and capacity. The method used is work-in-progress education. The benefits are felt by employees and non-employees alike. Supporting factors include organizational support while inhibiting factors include a lack of post-training attention and employee motivation. The evaluation is carried out informally between the employee and the owner.

Abstract

– Konveksi Arjuna merupakan perusahaan konveksi yang memproduksi pakaian jadi, seperti pakaian untuk wanita, pria, anak-anak, pakaian olahraga, dan pakaian politik. Di dalam sebuah perusahaan, adanya sebuah penjadwalan merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Tujuan dari adanya penelitian ini diantaranya dalah untuk memilih sistem penjadwalan yang paling sesuai dengan kultur dari perusahaan sehingga apabila diterapkan di dalam perusahaan dapat mengurangi jumlah keterlambatan. Metode sequencing adalah sebuah proses untuk menentukan prioritas waktu untuk penugasan dan urutan dalam pekerjaan secara demikian rupa sehingga tugas tersebut dapat diproses secara terencana dan proporsional sesuai dengan urutan yang ada. Hasili penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Konveksi Arjuna menggunakan metode FCFS dalam penjadwalan produksinya. Umumnya metode ini digunakan oleh perusahaan yang berbasis pesanan. Dari perbandingan hasil perhitungan rata-rata menggunakan 4 metode yaitu SPT (Shortest Processing Time), FCFS (First Come Firs Serve), EDD (Earliest Due Date), dan LPT (Longest Processing Time) diketahui bahwa metode penjadwalan yang paling efektif untuk Konveksi Arjuna adalah metode SPT (Shortest Processing Time). Metode SPT memiliki keterlambatan rata-rata dalam menyelesaikan pesanan selama 12,5 hari dengan waktu penyelesaian rata-rata selama 20 hari. Memiliki presentase nilai pemanfaatan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan (utilitas) sebesar 0,35 atau 35% dan jumlah pekerjaan rata-rata dalam sistem yaitu 2,86 pekerjaan. Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode SPT merupakan metode yang paling unggul dalam selutuh ketentuan yang ada sehingga metode ini adalah metode penjadwalan produksi yang paling tepat bagi Konveksi Arjuna.
