Abstract

The principal is an influential person in education, especially in improving teacher performance. Principals have a great responsibility in directing everyone around them to be more developed. The expected purpose of this research is to describe how the principal's strategy in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri Lidah Wetan IV/566 Surabaya. In this study, researchers used descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are by means of observation, interviews and using a literature review system. The subject of this research is the principal of SD Negeri Lidah Wetan IV/566. The results of this study showed: 1) The principal's strategy in improving the performance of teachers at school are: a. Enforcing teacher discipline, b. Improving the quality of teacher behavior, c. Creating comfort for teachers. 2). Supporting and inhibiting factors for principals in improving teacher performance. 3). How to overcome obstacles in improving teacher performance. The conclusion of this study is that this research can be used as a strategy in improving the performance of elementary school teachers, and can be used as motivation in improving teacher performance.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is currently very rapid and free competition between countries from all fields, one of which is education. Education personnel and students are guided to keep up with the times in the times in the development of the education curriculum. The study aims to explain and provide an overview of digital technology-based curriculum development at SMPN YPM 2 Sukodono. The application of the method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. For data collection techniques, namely by direct research through observation, and interviews then using literature study techniques. In this study, the interview subject was the vice principal of curriculum affairs at SMPN YPM 2 Sukodono. The results obtained in this study indicate that: 1) The application of digital technology in curriculum development at SMPN YPM 2 Sukodono, 2) The role and purpose of digital technology at SMPN YPM 2 Sukodono, 3) Challenges faced in the application of digital technology, 4) Stakeholder relationships in digital technology-based curriculum development. So the conclucion that can be obtained is that the researcher hopes that this research can be useful and beneficial for school principals in developing a digital-based curriculum that is getting better in the future.

Abstract

This article aims to identify the physical and non-physical potential of various aspects such as economy, socio-culture, health, education, settlement, and government, as well as to identify factors that support village progress and to understand the classification of Bereng Berkawat Village. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through documentation, interviews, and direct observation. The village has a majority Malay population, followed by Dayak and Javanese, with around 80% of the population being Muslim. Cultural life is still preserved with traditional arts such as jipin and Dayak dances. It has a clustered service center pattern. Health and education facilities are available, including a health center and elementary school. Small and medium enterprises, such as grocery stores, serve as centers of economic and social interaction. The high enthusiasm of the community and the support of the government are the main keys to the sustainable development of this village. Based on the results of the study, Bereng Berkawat Village is classified as a self-sufficient village because it has begun to experience outside influences, more advanced technology, better infrastructure, and more diverse livelihood.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of how learning media such as Quizizz and Google Forms are used. In addition to entertaining, demanding, and engaging, learning with technology through Google Forms and Quizizz programs will improve student proficiency and teacher inventiveness. Content for Google Forms and Quizizz can be created by educators by using their creativity to evaluate learning and assess students' understanding and ability to absorb information presented in the form of fun exercises or assessments that can be completed both inside and outside the classroom, taking into account the necessary facilities are well adequate. This research method emphasizes a qualitative approach by making observations in the field, with data collection techniques on the results of interviews, documentation, and literature studies. With this, the research obtained the results that the application of learning evaluation methods at SMPN 40 Surabaya on the Google Form and Quizizz platforms generally has a positive impact on students and teachers. Where students are facilitated in channeling critical thinking by answering questions that have been provided in the Google Form and Quizizz applications. In addition, teachers also feel the effectiveness in terms of inputting students' grades, when using Google Forms and Quizizz in learning evaluations.
