Abstract

This research aims to find elements related to STEAM from 100 Google Scholar indexed articles resulting from scientific research. Elements related to STEAM can be implemented in elementary school students in facing the era of society 5.0. The method used in this research is the SLR (Literature Review System) PCR model (Planning, Conducting, Reporting) with the aim of systematically reviewing the literature to find elements related to STEAM based on research results from the last 7 years (2017-2024). The research results showed that other elements were compared with STEAM, such as language, social sciences, economics, religion, culture and literacy with the terms STREAM, SELAMeT, STREAME, STELAM and STEAMS and were even used as a basis for curriculum development such as in South Korea with the term WS-STEAM . Based on these findings, there are elements that can be used as a reference in developing learning plans in elementary schools towards the era of society 5.0 which are in accordance with the national basic education curriculum, especially in elementary schools in Indonesia, namely language, social (including culture and economics in social science learning ), religious, and literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to test the validity of the construct of the performance of elementary school principals in South Sulawesi Province using CFA in SEM on the LISREL application based on the components of leadership, management, and personality. This type of research is ex-post facto. The number of samples collected through stratified purposive random sampling was 100 respondents with details of 15 principals, 75 class teachers, 5 religious-teachers, and 5 sports teachers in elementary schools in Sanrobone. The data collection technique used a principal performance questionnaire with 4 indicators of leadership, 4 indicators of management, and 7 indicators of personality, as well as documentation of the principal's performance. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical from CFA data. The results showed that the construct validity tested using CFA on the principal's performance in the leadership, management, and personality components showed goodness of fit based on the results of the goodness of fit index with the measurement model on the Absolute/Predictive fit Index criteria, namely on RMSEA 0.0057 from the limit value ≤ 0.08; RMR 0.069 from the limit value ≤ 0.1, on the Comparative Index criteria, namely on IFI and CFI each 0.92 from the limit value> 0.90, although on the Parsimony fit Index criteria, namely PNFI and PGFI each below the limit value> 0.90 but not significant. The conclusion of each indicator item contribution also shows that it is greater than the selected standardized solution value, which is greater than 0.3, so it is strong enough to explain the latent variable (principal performance).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principal's spiritual leadership in shaping the character of teachers and students in Cluster 3, Dampal Utara District, Tolitoli Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The study subjects include school principals, teachers, and students from four elementary schools selected as research locations. The research findings indicate that the principal's spiritual leadership plays a significant role in shaping the character of teachers and students. Principals who effectively implement spiritual leadership can create a more harmonious, religious, and disciplined school environment. The main findings reveal that at SDN Mosing and SDN 2 Tompoh, the principals actively serve as role models for spiritual values, establish effective communication with teachers and students, and consistently implement character development programs. Meanwhile, at SDN 1 Tompoh and SDN 3 Tompoh, challenges were identified in student discipline and the lack of direct involvement of principals in character-building activities. Several factors support the implementation of spiritual leadership, including strong community support, value-based habituation programs, and active teacher involvement in guiding students. Conversely, challenges include inconsistency in enforcing school regulations, minimal parental involvement in character education, and low intrinsic student motivation.
