Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of the value of Batak culture values in the Parmonangan Village office, then to find out how Public Services at the Parmonangan Village Office and to find out how much influence the value of Batak cultural values has on public services at the Parmonangan Village office.The research method used is a type of quantitative research by taking respondents from the Parmonangan Village community as many as 76 people.The results showed that the Batak Cultural values of Kinship, Hasangapon, Hamajuon and Hamoraon are highly upheld and applied by the community including in the Parmonangan Village office. Public Services at the Parmonangan Village office fall into the Moderate category, meaning that service procedures, completion time, equality of treatment and openness are sometimes implemented and sometimes not implemented. So it can be concluded that both variables can be said to be valid because r count (0.2172) > r table (0.1901). From the results of hypothesis testing, it can be seen that tcount = 16.7425 and the ttable is 1.993, so tcount> than ttable (16.7425> 1.993) so that the hypothesis can be accepted. Based on the results of the determination test, the effect of Batak cultural values on public services is 5%.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan pelatihan literasi dan numerasi pada kelompok anak terkhusus membaca dan menulis. Hal ini karena masih terbatasnya pengetahuan literasi anak di Desa Mompang Jae. Hingga tim pengabdi tertarik melaksanakan pelatihan baca tulis literasi dan numerasi pada kelompok anak. Peserta didik yang menjadi pelatihan adalah peserta didik yang berada di SD Negeri 063 Mompang Jae mulai dari kelas satu sampai kelas empat SD. Semoga PKM ini dapat menjadi salah satu jalan yang berkah bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan khususnya dalam membaca dan menulis.  Kata Kunci : Literasi, Baca Tulis, Numerasi

Abstract

Siswa SMA terutama yang berada pada tahap akhir, tentunya dihadapkan pada bermacam pilihan, apakah melanjutkan pendidikan atau bekerja. Bagi yang melanjutkan, akan dihadapkan dengan pertanyaan kampus mana, fakultas dan jurusan apa yang diambil. Tahun ajaran 2020/2021 tercatat sebanyak 5.131 orang siswa yang duduk di kelas XII di seluruh Sekolah Menengah Atas sederajat di kota Padangsidimpuan, sekolah negeri maupun swasta. Jumlah tersebut dengan rincian SMA sebanyak 2.669 siswa, SMK sebanyak 1.981 siswa dan MA sebanyak 481 siswa. Inilah yang menjadi potensi bagi peguruan tinggi baik Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) maupun Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS) di kota Padangsidimpuan untuk dapat merekrut mereka. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa SMA sederajat di kota Padangsidimpuan terhadap UM-Tapsel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survey dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Hasil penelitian ini akan disajikan dalam bentuk kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa minat siswa SMA sederajat di kota Padangsidimpuan melanjutkan ke tingkat perguruan tinggi sangat besar. Dari 225 responden, hampir seluruhnya mengetahui UM-Tapsel yaitu 221 orang (90,2%), dan  63 orang (25,7%) tahu akreditasi UM-Tapsel, sebanyak 151 orang (61%) mnganggap UM-Tapsel baik/bagus dan secara keseluruhan persepsi siswa SMA sederajat di kota Padangsidimpuan terhadap UM-Tapsel adalah penilaian positif.Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Perguruan Tinggi, Siswa, UM-Tapsel
