Abstract

Bojo Village in Mallusetasi District, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi, faces problems with household waste management, especially organic waste scattered on the beach and near residential areas. This waste causes environmental pollution and has a negative impact on public health. The proposed solution is maggot cultivation from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) as an effective and economically valuable organic waste management method. Maggot can decompose organic waste quickly, produce high-quality organic fertilizer (kasgot), and become nutritious animal feed. The program combines reduce and recycle approaches to create environmental benefits and economic opportunities. Through maggot cultivation, the community is expected to be able to reduce the volume of waste, increase soil fertility, and create new businesses that increase local income.

Abstract

Peningkatan harga pakan ternak menjadi tantangan serius bagi peternak di Desa Bojo. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Bojo melalui penggunaan maggot sebagai alternative pakan ternak yang bernilai ekonomis dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan budidaya maggot, sosial isasi manfaat maggot sebagai pakan ternak, dan pendampingan dalam penerapannya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Bojo antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan dan berhasil membudidayakan maggot. Penggunaan maggot sebagai pakan ternak mampu mengurangi biaya produksi, meningkatkan produktivitas ternak, serta mengurangi volume sampah organik. Dengan demikian, pengolahan maggot dapat menjadi solusi berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan peternak dan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan di Desa Bojo.

Abstract

The use of influencers marketing had become a popular strategy for UMKM to increase brand awareness and sales. This research aimed to analyze the role of influencers on brand awareness and sales in UMKM in Indonesia especially in Parepare UMKM namely Amaryllis Hijab. This research was qualitative research with the type of field research. The researcher used this research approach because of the problem that the researcher raised. The appropriate problem solving technique for finding answers to this research was to use a qualitative research approach, where data must be obtained through direct open interviews which were not enough if answered with just one question. This research was conducted in Parepare. Research subjects were objects, people, places, data for the object in question. In this case, the research was the Amaryllis Hijab shop in Parepare which has used the services of influencers to help increase brand awareness and product sales. Several related studies have found that influencers as business communicators via social media will significantly influence brand awareness and sales.
