Abstract

Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah untuk menganalisis dasar penerapan hukuman mati dalam sistem hukum pidana di Indonesia, mengevaluasi hukuman mati dari perspektif hak asasi manusia (HAM), dan menilai efektivitasnya sebagai upaya pencegahan kejahatan serius. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, yang mengandalkan telaah pustaka, dokumen peraturan, dan data terkait. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hukuman mati di Indonesia memiliki dasar historis dan hukum yang berakar pada masa kolonial, tetapi dasar tersebut dianggap tidak relevan dalam konteks negara merdeka. Perspektif hak asasi manusia menilai bahwa hukuman mati bertentangan dengan hak untuk hidup, yang dilindungi oleh peraturan internasional dan konstitusi Indonesia. Namun, hukuman mati masih diatur dalam hukum yang berlaku. Dari segi efektivitas, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ancaman hukuman mati tidak cukup signifikan dalam mengurangi angka kejahatan serius. Penerapan hukuman mati seringkali tidak memberikan efek jera dan dapat menimbulkan dampak kontraproduktif, seperti meningkatkan ketidakpercayaan terhadap sistem peradilan dan memperburuk kondisi sosial. Pendekatan yang lebih manusiawi dan preventif berdasarkan peningkatan pendidikan dan perbaikan sistem peradilan direkomendasikan untuk mengurangi angka kejahatan

Abstract

This article discusses the theory of relationship-based Christian religious education: building a community of mutual love in the school environment. This research uses literature research or library study methods. With this method the author can analyze literature sources that are relevant and related to the objectives of this research and express them in a research result. Christian religious education is a conscious effort that is planned to instill the basic teachings of Jesus Christ and the development of faith by creating learning situations and learning systems so that students are able to develop potential or spiritual, noble morals, skills needed by students and the surrounding community. Relationship-based Christian religious education aims to build a community of mutual love in schools through positive relationships between teachers and students and between students. This approach emphasizes the application of Christian values ​​such as love, forgiveness, and respect. This research examines how Christian religious education can create an inclusive environment that supports student character development. The research method used is literature study, with data sources from books, scientific journals and relevant articles. Relationship-based Christian religious education is effective in creating a community that is full of love, respects differences, and supports each other, as well as encouraging students' spiritual and social development in an inclusive and tolerant environment. Implementing these values ​​in schools can strengthen relationships between students, foster a sense of togetherness, and create space for each individual to develop. Teachers should also be role models in implementing the values ​​of love, forgiveness and mutual respect, as well as creating an environment that is inclusive and supportive of every individual regardless of their background. This concept contributes to the formation of better student character.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the professionalism of Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers in implementing the curriculum. Using descriptive qualitative methods, this research found that Christian religious education is an education that focuses on the Lord Jesus Christ who uses the pulpit as a communication tool to introduce people to Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit. Christian religious education is a medium for bringing believers together with Jesus Christ so that they can truly know Jesus Christ personally. The professionalism of Christian Religious Education teachers greatly influences the success of curriculum implementation. The main influencing factors include pedagogical competence, mastery of material, and the ability to adapt learning to student needs. Apart from that, managerial support, facilities and competency development policies are also important. In conclusion, a deep understanding of the curriculum, appropriate learning design, and the use of relevant methods and technology are very necessary for effective implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of Christian Religious Education philosophy in shaping strong Christian character in students and the integration of Biblical values in the learning process. The research method used is descriptive, which outlines the application of Christian education principles and their impact on students' character. The findings of the study show that Christian Religious Education prioritizes the development of spiritual, moral, and social aspects, with key principles such as love, forgiveness, and integrity. Through the implementation of these values, students not only develop intellectually but also build character in accordance with Christ's teachings, making them wise individuals in decision-making and positively impacting their communities and surrounding environments.
