Abstract

The learning process will be more fun if it is student-centered because students are free to explore and create according to their abilities by integrating the benefits of used items as a learning medium to help students understand the water cycle material. This study aims to determine whether the creative thinking ability of grade V students is affected by a project-based learning model based on used goods. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design of the Non Equivalent Control Group pattern. The results show that students' creative thinking ability towards water cycle material is influenced by a project-based learning model based on used goods. A separate sample t-test or an independent sample t-test assisted by SPSS version 25 showed that it was 4,725 ≥ 1,988, so Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The scores of the experimental and control classes were both higher. according to the score of the grades obtained. However, the value of the experimental class is greater than that of the control class.  The results of the TTCT study showed that the experimental score was higher than that of the control class. The conclusion of this study is that the project-based learning model based on the use of used goods affects students' creativity in water cycle materials.

Abstract

Kecakapan literasi finansial menjadi salah satu kompetensi penting dimiliki para Gen Z di abad 21 saat ini. Gen Z khususnya para siswa sekolah yang mendapatkan pemasukan pemberian uang saku dari orang tua sudah seharusnya melakukan pengelolaan keuangannnya dengan tepat dan efisien sebagai bentuk kecakapan literasi keuangan mereka. Namun masih sedikit siswa yang melakukan penganggaran keuangan dalam mengelola keuangan pribadi mereka. Melalui program pelatihan literasi keuangan dengan penyuluhan serta pendampingan pengelolaan keuangan kepada para siswa diharapkan siswa akan lebih memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan literasi keuangan untuk mencapai kemandirian pengelolaan keuangannya. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 30 peserta siswa SMK Perikanan dan Kelautan Puger Kabupaten Jember Jawa Timur. Kegiatan dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan yang diakhiri dengan kegiatan mengamati (monitoring) dan evaluasi program. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi diketahui hasil akhir bahwa mitra yang terlibat merasa puas akan kegiatan yang telah terlaksana. Kondisi yang dialami mitra mengalami perubahan setelah diberikan pelatihan yaitu terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar pengelolaan keuangan mereka melalui pencatatan, perencanaan dan menentukan prioritas pengeluaran dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga tingkat literasi keuangan dan pengalaman keuangan Gen Z akan menjadi dasar terhadap kualitas perencanaan keuangan dimasa depan dengan lebih baik, tepat, dan efisien.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji media flipbook digital berbasis Discovery Learning pada materi Melihat Karena Cahaya dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis Research and Development (R&D). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini berupa proses pengembangan dan validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas media pengembangan. Proses pengembangan media dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Validitas media diuji melalui proses validasi oleh para ahli. Validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh skor 88,33 dengan kategori sangat layak, hasil validasi oleh ahli materi sebesar 77,78 dengan kategori layak, dan hasil validasi oleh praktisi sebesar 93,75 dengan kategori sangat layak. Kepraktisan media dilihat berdasarkan tanggapan siswa melalui pengisian angket, hasilnya 96,61 dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan efektivitas media dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai pretest dan posttest menunjukkan persentase 56,64% dengan kategori cukup efektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media flipbook digital berbasis Discovery Learning pada materi Melihat Karena Cahaya memenuhi kriteria penggunaan yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran inovatif di sekolah dasar masih terbatas sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap keterkaitan komponen biotik dan abiotik dalam ekosistem. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan untuk menghadirkan media konkret yang dapat menvsualisasikan konsep secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memngembangkan media diorama tiga dimensi pada pembelajaran IPAS materi ekosistem hutan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp yang terdiri atas tahap investigasi awal, perancangan prototipe, dan penilaian. Tahap investigasi dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan guru dan siswa guna mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran. Prototipe media yang dihasilkan kemudian direview oleh dua validator, yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji kepraktisan melibatkan 28 siswa kelas V dan seorang guru dengan menggunakan angket. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor 94% untuk aspek media dan 84% untuk aspek materi, keduanya pada kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

Adolescence is faced with the problem of self-mastery or self-control. Juvenile delinquency is a form of conflict that is not resolved properly in childhood, so that the adolescent phase fails to undergo the process of mental development. This condition is called adolescents experiencing mental health problems. This research uses the narrative literature review method. The narrative literature review method is one method for conducting a qualitative literature review. This method aims to compile a review or summary of the results of previous research on a particular topic. This method is commonly used to examine or analyse a previous study and then create and package it in the latest version. Therefore, the author chose this method because it is in accordance with the purpose of making this research to examine and compare previous research with the current novelty. Based on the articles that have been obtained 6 articles related to the effect of peer counselling on empathy and mental health. Teenagers tend not to want to tell when they are experiencing difficulties. Peer counselling is an effort to increase empathy because students will easily share their complaints, because they have trust in their peers. Adolescents are also vulnerable to mental health problems in adolescents such as the development of various biological (physical), cognitive and socioemotional domains.

Abstract

Hypertension is a major global health issue with a high prevalence and significant contribution to morbidity and mortality. Emotional stress, psychological tension, and autonomic nervous system imbalance are known to exacerbate hypertension. However, accessible non-pharmacological therapies that address psychological and spiritual aspects such as the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) are still underutilized. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of SEFT therapy in reducing blood pressure among adults with hypertension. A quasi-experimental design with a one group pre test and post-test approach was used. A total of 45 respondents participated in a 2 week SEFT intervention. Blood pressure measurements were taken before and after the therapy. Data were analyzed using a paired t test to determine significant differences between pre-test and post test values. Most respondents were aged 56–70 years (71%), female (76%), and had a family history of hypertension (80%). Prior to the intervention, the majority were classified as having severe hypertension (56%), decreasing to moderate hypertension (58%) after the therapy. A significant reduction in blood pressure was observed, with an average decrease of 23.47 mmHg and a p value of 0.000. These findings indicate that SEFT effectively reduces both systolic and diastolic blood pressure through mechanisms of deep relaxation, stress reduction, and stabilization of the autonomic nervous system. SEFT is an effective complementary therapy for lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This intervention is simple, safe, and easy to practice, making it a valuable adjunctive therapy to help control blood pressure and improve patients’ quality of life.
