The sample of this study was 177 respondents and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection in the study used a questionnaire, namely preparedness and self-efficacy. Questionnaires were used to analyze demographic characteristics, preparedness, and self-efficacy. The results showed that the majority were average (92.7) adult age male (55.4%). The level of preparedness in the high category is (63.8%) and self-efficacy is (57.1%). Bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between preparedness and self-efficacy 0.000 (p < 0.05). The strength of the correlation coefficient in the criteria is sufficient (r=0.380). Researchers suggest that the community participation in landslide disaster preparation is supported by good self-efficacy for preparation for landslides in order to reduce disaster risks such as fatalities.

Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is a progressive and irreversible kidney dysfunction in which the body's ability to maintain metabolism, fluid and electrolyte balance is disrupted, resulting in uremia or azotemia. Hemodialysis is a form of treatment for patients with chronic kidney failure, in which the patient's blood is diverted out of the body through a dialyzer, which occurs through diffusion and ultrafiltration, after which the blood is returned to the patient's body. Several methods to maintain muscle strength and reduce fatigue scores, namely intradialytic exercise is an exercise program developed that can increase muscle strength, muscle endurance and physical activity. The general objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of intradialytic exercise involvement interventions on muscle strength and fatigue scores in hemodialysis patients at GrandMed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. This research method is a quantitative study, using a quasy experiment with a one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study were all patients with Chronic Kidney Failure who were recorded at the Medical Records Hospital Grandmed Lubuk Pakam from October 2021 to December 2022. With inclusion criteria: respondents experienced movement disorders, muscle cramps, and weakness. The number of samples was 22 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test. The Wilcoxon test results obtained significant results from the intradialytic exercise technique on muscle strength and fatigue scores with a p value of 0.00 each. So that it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving good intradialytic exercise interventions on muscle strength & fatigue scores in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis

Abstract

The main issue faced by the community of Tanjung Anom Village, especially in Dusun I, is the lack of knowledge and basic skills in providing first aid for minor trauma incidents at the household level. This community service activity aims to enhance family capacity in trauma management through community-based training. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a community organizing approach, starting from preliminary observation, focus group discussions, training sessions, to post-activity evaluation. The results showed that the training positively impacted residents' knowledge and skills, led to the formation of local trauma cadres, and fostered new social structures supporting community preparedness for emergencies. The activity also encouraged behavioral change and collective awareness regarding the importance of basic trauma care in households.

Abstract

In essence, every child has the right to safety, survival, and the right to receive quality education. However, these rights may not be fulfilled due to several threats, both internal and external. Threats can occur from family factors, the environment, nature, and technology that can cause children's rights to be unsustainable. These disasters, both small and large disasters, will basically have an impact on the safety and education of children. If education is disrupted, there is a risk that children will drop out of school or even be unable to attend school permanently. The interruption of education will have a negative impact on children both economically and socially in the future, in addition to also having an impact on the child's family and community.
