Abstract

Pico Hydro Power Plant (PLTPH) is one of the power plants that uses water as an energy source. Piko Hydro is included in the category of hydropower plants with small power because it does not need to use a water discharge that is too large to produce power. The tool developed in this study is a Pico Hydro Power Plant by Utilizing Flow Irrigation. The purpose of this research is to find out the results of the development of a Pico Hydro Power Plant, the electrical energy produced, and the community's response. The research method used is descriptive-quantitative with Research and Development (R&D) research and a prototype development model consisting of 4 steps, namely needs analysis, building prototypes, installing, and evaluating. The research data obtained by observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the pico-hydro power plant works well, as indicated by the very good product validation value; the water wheel at the generator has a maximum power of 308 watts; and in development with the application of MPPT type charger control regulators, the results are able to stabilize the electrical energy produced and increase the power capability of the power plant with the help of a backup battery supply. For the results of the responses from the Kasambang Village community in Mamuju Regency, as many as 15 respondents obtained very decent results.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the impact of the application of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) partially and simultaneously on the labor productivity of employees of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Sengkang Wajo Regency. For this study, a sample of 31 respondents was used using the saturated sampling method, in which all members of the population are used as samples. The analysis method used is descriptive statistics, inferential statistics and the determination of hypotheses using the t-test and the f-test using SPSS 22: (1) The application of occupational safety (X1) in the work environment of PT PLN ( Persero) ULP Sengkang Wajo Regency is in the good category overall, (2) The application of occupational health (X2) in the work environment of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Sengkang Wajo Regency is in the very good category overall, and (3) Occupational safety and health together affect the work productivity of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Sengkang Wajo Regency employees.

Abstract

This study evaluates the satisfaction level of students in the Electrical Engineering Education Department, Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University (PTE FT UNM) in using the My-SAMS (My Single Academic Management System) application based on the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model, which measures satisfaction through content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. Using a quantitative ex post facto design, data were collected from 136 students (2018–2023 cohorts) through a 20-item Likert-scale questionnaire. The research instruments were tested for validity using the product-moment correlation and for reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha, both showing acceptable results. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics using SPSS 23 and Excel 2021 to identify satisfaction patterns. The findings showed that students were moderately satisfied with content (45%), format (54%), ease of use (57%), and timeliness (46%), while the accuracy dimension was rated dissatisfied (33%). These results suggest that while My-SAMS is user-friendly, issues remain regarding data accuracy and synchronization. It is recommended that system developers enhance data validation and integration processes and provide continuous operator training to ensure data consistency. In conclusion, the study emphasizes that My-SAMS has achieved moderate success in meeting user expectations but requires further improvements in information accuracy and reliability to strengthen trust and system performance. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for improving academic digital services and as a foundation for further research on user satisfaction in academic information systems.
