Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan laboratorium Virtual Reality menggunakan MileaLab sebagai sarana baru untuk pembelajaran praktikum; 2) mengetahui bagaimana cara menggunakan laboratorium Virtual Reality yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Pengembangan perangkat lunak berupa media aplikasi pendukung laboratorium Virtual Reality dilakukan dengan pendekatan rekayasa dimana tahapannya adalah: analisis, desain, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penggunaan laboratorium Virtual Reality dapat diterapkan dengan melihat hasil pengembangan berdasarkan validasi ahli materi memperoleh kategori sangat baik, validasi ahli media memperoleh kategori sangat baik, Analisis Keefektifan dan Kepraktisan Penggunaan laboratorium Virtual Reality, kemudian Penilaian Kepraktisan produk laboratorium Virtual Reality memperoleh kategori sangat baik. Aplikasi Laboratorium Virtual Reality menggunakan MileaLab didesain secara online dengan memperhatikan fitur-fitur yang ada seperti pada laboratorium sesungguhnya, serta navigasi dapat berfungsi secara bebas sesuai kemauan user seolah berada dalam ruangan yang nyata.  Kata Kunci: Laboratorium Virtual Reality, MileaLab, Rekayasa Sistem Robotika

Abstract

Suhu  ruangan  yang  tinggi  dapat  mengganggu  kenyamanan  dan  kesehatan.  Oleh  karena  itu,  penting untuk mengontrol suhu ruangan agar tetap sesuai. Pada penelitian ini dibuat system kipas angin otomatis berdasarkan  suhu  rungan  adalah  dengan  memanfaatkan  komponen  Ardiuno.  Sistem  dibangun  melalui tahap  perencanan  dan  pemilihan  komponen,  perancangan  sistem,  pemrograman  dan  integrasi  sistem dengan LabVIEW. Hasil pengujian sistem  menujukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengatur kapan kipas akan dinyalakan  dan  dimatikan,  jika  suhu  lebih  dari  28  derajat  Celcius  maka  kipas  menyala  dan  jika  suhu kurang dari 28 derajat Celcius maka kipas non-aktif.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PKM) adalah: (1) Mendorong masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan barang elektronik yang rusak sehingga tidak terpakai lagi menjadi barang yang dapat dimanfaatkan kembali setelah dilakukan perbaikan; (2) mendorong masyarakat Kelompok Remaja Kabupaten Majene agar memiliki keterampilan dalam melakukan perbaikan alat elektronik; (3) mendorong masyarakat Kelompok Remaja Kabupaten Majene agar memiliki kecakapan dalam mengoperasikan alat-alat elektronik; (4) mendorong masyarakat Kelompok Remaja Kabupaten Majene dalam Dalam Mengembangkan Keterampilan Wirausaha Mandiri Melalui Perbaikan Peralatan Elektronik. Khalayak sasaran adalah masyarakat Kelompok Remaja Kabupaten Majene. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyampaian materi menggunakan metode praktek langsung, ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, sedangkan penerapan menggunakan metode demonstrasi , simulasi dan produksi. Berdasarkan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa : 1) Peserta pelatihan dapat meningkat pemahamannya dalam melakukan perbaikan peralatan yang terdiri atas: Pemahaman peserta dalam menerima materi kewirausahaan, Keterampilan peserta dalam memperbaiki peralatan, Ketepatan penggunaan Alat dan Bahan dalam memperbaiki peralatan listrik rumah tangga, Penyelesaian pekerjaan dilaporkan sesuai dengan prosedur yang ditetapkan, Mentaati kebijakan dan prosedur K3, dan Dapat mendiagnosa gangguan pada peralatan; 2) Peserta pelatihan mampu memperbaiki sendiri peralatan listrik dan rumah tangga; 3) Peserta pelatihan mampu mendiagnosa kerusakan peralatan listrik dan rumah tangga. Kata kunci: Wirausaha Mandiri, Keterampilan Servis, alat elektronik rumah tangga

Abstract

In facing the challenges of climate change that affect the agricultural sector, automatic monitoring and control systems are important solutions to ensure optimal conditions for plant growth. This study develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system and fuzzy logic algorithms to automatically control temperature and humidity in a greenhouse. This system uses a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, ESP32 as a microcontroller, and actuators such as fans and heaters to adjust environmental conditions. The fuzzy logic algorithm enables adaptive decision making based on real-time data collected. The research methodology adopts the ADDIE development model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation results show that the system is able to improve the efficiency of greenhouse environmental management, maintain the stability of temperature and humidity parameters, and increase plant productivity. This technology is a step forward in supporting the sustainability of modern agriculture.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an IoT-based prototype system for monitoring soil moisture and controlling irrigation in chili plants using the Blynk platform. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a prototypedevelopment model. The system integrates a capacitive soil moisture sensor (Soil Moisture Sensor Capacitive V1.2) to measure soil moisture levels and automate irrigation decisions. The system's effectiveness was evaluated through 56 trials, achieving a 98.15% success rate, indicating high reliability in providing real-time soil moisture data. The usability assessment showed that all respondents rated the system positively, with functionality reaching 100% feasibility and usability rated at 86.3%, categorized as very good. However, further analysis is needed to validate the questionnaire used in usability testing and assess whether training is required for farmers to operate the system efficiently. In terms of reliability, the system recorded a 5% sensor accuracy deviation, highlighting the need for additional calibration and comparative testing with alternative sensors. Overall, this system has the potential to enhance agricultural productivity and optimize water usage, reducing dependence on manual irrigation. Future research should focus on improving system connectivity, refining sensor accuracy, and expanding the system's application to various crops and environmental conditions to promote sustainable and technology-driven farming practices.

Abstract

Abstract – By their competence, village officials are professionals who function to carry out government activities at the village level where in carrying out their duties they are required to run efficiently. To carry out these efficient community service activities, qualified personnel are required. In government activities in Sibatua Village, Pangkajene District, Pangkep Regency, the apparatus's ability is still lacking, so service activities related to the technological capabilities where needed, especially in the use of Google Apps including Google Drive, Google Forms, and Google Sheet.

Abstract

Abstract – The problem is based on the frequent occurrence of fires due to short circuits electricity, this is the result of a lack of public understanding regarding the use, selection of correct and safe electrical equipment and the high number of houses that have the potential to catch fire due to old electrical installations more than 20 years, human error, and a house made of wood. Installation Equipment electricity is a solution offered to the community by referring to on General Electrical Installation Requirements (PUIL 2011) for residential houses and the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for installation equipment. Through this PKM activity, the program carried out is to socialize the use of electrical equipment and the use of electrical energy to avoid overload which can lead to insulation failure resulting in electric short circuit; In this activity, an explanation of the components is givenelectrical installation, how to select, install and maintain.

Abstract

The development of voice recognition technology, particularly Keyword Spotting (KWS) , offers significant potential for critical applications such as emergency response systems in the healthcare sector. The use of cloud-based Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) like the Google Speech API provides an accessible development pathway for these applications , but its performance in specific contexts, such as for the Indonesian language, requires thorough evaluation. This study aims to implement and evaluate the performance of a real-time KWS system based on the Google Speech API within a simple smart assistant prototype designed for healthcare emergency scenarios. The system was implemented on Google Colaboratory using a Text-based KWS approach. Quantitative testing was conducted with two male participants who uttered five Indonesian target keywords ("Hi", "Tolong", "Aduh", "Oke", "Salam") , with 25 repetitions for each keyword, resulting in a total of 250 test samples. System performance was measured using the Success Rate metric, calculated from the classification of True Positives (TP)  and False Negatives (FN). The results show that the system was functionally implemented with a combined detection success rate of 62.8%. Significant performance variation was found both among keywords (highest success rate for 'Tolong' at 72.0% ) and between participants (77.6% vs. 48.0% ), highlighting speaker dependency. It is concluded that the Google API-based KWS approach is feasible for rapid prototyping, but the current accuracy and performance variability indicate the need for more robust and specific model development before it can be relied upon for critical healthcare applications.

Abstract

Community Service focuses on the importance of empowering teachers in Mental Health Education within schools, particularly in Timika, a remote area in Eastern Indonesia. The frequent and unstable power outages cause difficulties in accessing the internet, and the region’s remote location makes it challenging for school teachers in Timika to obtain information about mental health. The goal of this Community Service initiative is to provide Mental Health Training in Schools Towards Quality Education, which will be implemented to enhance teachers' competencies in handling mental health issues. The ultimate objective is for teachers to become mentally healthy and skilled. As a result of this initiative, a learning environment that supports the emotional and psychological well-being of both teachers and students is created. The method used in this program includes training on children's mental health in the digital era, developing school vision and mission to support mental well-being, conducting social research and innovation, and providing parenting education. Mental health training strengthens the prevention of negative behaviors, thereby influencing the development of quality learning. The results of this program indicate that the training successfully formed a group of teachers who are concerned about mental health. Teachers became more proactive in raising awareness of the importance of mental health in schools. Additionally, this training initiative successfully facilitated educational outreach programs for parents and the surrounding community, both individually and in groups.

Abstract

Three-phase induction motors are widely used in industrial applications. The performance of these motors heavily depends on the stability of electrical parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, and power factor. Imbalances or fluctuations in these parameters can significantly affect the motor’s operational lifespan and may even lead to equipment failure. Therefore, periodic monitoring of these parameters is essential. This study aims to design and develop an electrical power monitoring system for a three-phase induction motor using LabVIEW, integrated with the Modbus RTU protocol and a power meter. Methode of this research is an experimental method. The result of this research is that the current will fluctuate along with the increase in motor load. When unloaded, the current was measured at 0 A. Upon applying one load, the R/S/T phase currents increased to 0.1107 A, 0.1173 A, and 0.1107 A, respectively. With two loads, the currents rose to 0.1357 A, 0.1424 A, and 0.1317 A. When the load increased to three, the R/S/T phase currents further increased to 0.1581 A, 0.1654 A, and 0.1526 A, respectively. Voltage and frequency were observed to remain stable at approximately 238 V and 50 Hz. Inter-phase voltage also remained relatively stable, ranging from 408 V to 413 V. This study is practically aimed at providing an accurate, validated, and real-time monitoring system for three-phase induction motors, which is highly relevant for predictive maintenance in industrial environments. Compared to previous works that relied on low-cost sensors or microcontroller-based monitoring, this research emphasizes higher measurement accuracy, validated results, and seamless integration with industrial communication protocols. In summary, the developed system successfully demonstrated its ability to monitor electrical parameters of three-phase induction motors in real-time with high accuracy, validated measurement results, and stable performance across different load conditions. Its practical contribution lies in offering an industrially applicable monitoring solution that supports predictive maintenance, reduces downtime, and extends motor lifespan. The main scientific contribution of this work is the integration of LabVIEW and Modbus RTU with a validated measurement scheme, overcoming the accuracy and reliability limitations of previous studies.
