Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country with many natural and man-made tourist destinations, especially the South Tapanuli region which has marine, natural and man-made tourist destinations that are attractive and worth visiting for domestic and foreign tourists. In 2023, the number of tourists visiting South Tapanuli will be 422,688 people. This research aims to estimate or predict the number of tourists visiting South Tapanuli in the next 6 years using the Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) method with amortized parameters. Double exponential smoothing (DES) is a forecasting method by predicting time series data with a trend model. To overcome overprediction, an attenuating parameter is added which can reduce the estimated value exponentially. This research also aims to compare the estimated number of tourists in South Tapanuli Regency using the T test. This research shows that the estimated number of tourists coming to South Tapanuli Regency in the next six years will increase. For the t test carried out, the results obtained were tcount < ttable (2.014 < 2.015).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the creative thinking skills of students who are taught using web media, guided inquiry learning combined with lesson study, which is higher than without using web media. And knowing that the learning outcomes of students taught in guided inquiry learning combined with lesson study using web media are higher than without using web media. The research population was students of class XI Science High School. The sampling technique was simple random sampling consisting of two classes, namely experimental and control with a total sample size of 76 students. This research instrument is a creative thinking test and student learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques are carried out by calculating the level of concept understanding, testing data homogeneity, normality testing and hypothesis testing. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes and creative thinking of students taught in combination lesson study inquiry learning using web media with an average gain of 0.71 and an average of 75.46 compared to without using web media with an average of 0.60 and 55. .20 with significance (0.00 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes by applying innovative teaching materials based on Problem-Based Learning, and to analyse the relationship between student characteristics and chemistry learning outcomes using teaching materials based on Problem-Based Learning. The study was conducted on 72 Grade X vocational high school students using an experimental method with a control class and an experimental class. The results showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental class (73%) compared to the control class (69%). There was a significant relationship between characteristics such as curiosity, independence, discipline, hard work, and honesty with improved chemistry learning outcomes on the topics of element symbols and chemical equations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, yang bertujuan untuk menunjukkan hubungan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan pada siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media kartu soal dan media ular tangga pada pembelajaran termokimia dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT). Adapun populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI yang dengan materi termokimia berdasarkan kurikulum K-13. Sampel yang diambil yaitu SMA Negeri 10 Medan sebanyak 2 kelas dengan masing-masing siswa 30 orang. Yang menjadi instrumen penelitian ini adalah non tes (angket). Analisis instrumen penelitian menggunakan program SPSS 22 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan (α=5%), baik yang dibelajarkan dengan media kartu soal maupun dengan media ular tangga, pada kelas yang dibelajarkan dengan media kartu soal koefisien korelasinya yaitu sebesar 0.893 dan kelas yang dibelajarkan dengan media ular tangga koefisien korelasinya yaitu sebesar 0,674.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a good source of clean water. But do not escape from water pollution caused by population density which is increasing from day to day. This has led to an increasing consumption of water as well as consumption of water in households and in industry. The presence of metals such as Fe (iron), Al (aluminum) and Cr (chromium) in the community's water can be a concern for the health of the residents of Aek Godang and its surroundings. Under these conditions, an experiment was carried out with the aim of analyzing the content of the population's water sources (dug well water, drilled well water, river water) using TDS and water electrolyze tools. The results of this study indicate that the water sources of the Aek Godang community have TDS levels of 24 mg/L and 23 mg/L so that it can be concluded that the water sources of the Aek Godang community are in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the teaching materials related to chemical in the curriculum of the Department of Agro-technology Medan Area University. For the purpose of observation, interviews and giving questionnaires to various stakeholders in the Department of Agro-technology University Medan Area. Results obtained in the form of retribution subjects related to chemistry as much as 7 subjects with a weight of 20 credits or as much as 13.8 % of the total of 145 credits. Those subjects are General Chemistry, Biochemistry Agriculture, Basic Soil Science, Soil Fertility and Fertilizer, Seed Technology, Post-Harvest Technology and Advanced Plantation Crops.

Abstract

Ulat sagu memiliki nama yang beragam dan paling sering ditemui di daerah Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Papua dan Sumatera yang diperoleh dari batang pohon sagu yang telah tumbang dan sudah membusuk. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui protein ulat sagu dengan metode Kjedhal, Spektro fotometer dan SDS-PAGE. Jenis penelitian dengan melakukan kajian literature dari buku, artikel dan jurnal sepuluh tahun terakhir dari google scholer. Hasil analisis menggunakan metode Kjedhal pada batang berduri sebesar 11,8652% yang tidak berduri sebesar 10,06988%. Penelitian lainnya yang dilakukan di hal mehera maluku utara kadar protein total sebesar 4,0575%. Hasil analisis menggunakan metode spektro fotometri dan SDS dengan pengeringan garam dan tanpa garam menunjukkan ulat sagu control memiliki protein yang lebih besar (4,93 µg/µl) daripada yang diberi perlakukan dan penggaraman konsentrasi 10% (b/b) selama 1 jam tanpa panas pita-pita protein tidak terjadi penurunan atau penipisan secara signifikan. Analisis Pengasapan dengan garam dan tanpa garam menunjukan ulat sagu control lebihbesar (4,93 µg/µl) dibandingkan dengan yang diberi perlakuan dan semakin lama waktu pengasapan maka semakin banyak pita protein yang terdenaturasi dengan berat molekul yang semakin kecil. Pengaruh penggaraman konsentrasi 10 % b/b dan pengasapan terhadap jumlah profil protein ulat sagu cenderung lebih besar dibandingkan pegaruh pengasapan saja.

Abstract

Ikan adalah hewan yang hidup di air tawar dan air laut. Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan kadar protein ikan yang berasal dari air tawar dan air laut. Metode penulisan artikel ini adalah metode kajian pustaka dari beberapa sumber baik dari buku, jurnal, internet dan laporan penelitian lainnya. Data yang dihasilkan adalah kadar protein beberapa ikan air tawar nila 16,05%, patin 14,53%, lele 13,182%, bandeng 20,496 %, ikan mas 16,00%.  Sedangkan kadar protein beberapa ikan air laut gembung 21,40% , teri 18,83%, pandang 27,00%, tongkol 26,30%, dan ikan salmon 19,90%. metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis kadar protein pada ikan adalah dengan menggunakan metode kjeldahl.
