Abstract

The diagnosis of lung cancer is one of the most pressing health issues as the disease is often only detected at an advanced stage, leading to a poor prognosis for patients. Therefore, in an effort to detect, prevent, and manage the disease more effectively, this study utilized screening variables. Screening is an important endeavor in the early detection of diseases or abnormalities that are not yet clinically apparent using various tests, examinations, or procedures. The use of screening variables is very important in the early detection process because it can help in this study to understand the risk factors and causes of disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the dominant factors affecting people with lung cancer using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Based on the results of the study, it was found that there are 20 dominant screening variables that have a considerable correlation to the formation of early detection of lung cancer with a total proportion of covariance variance of 100% when, the total variance obtained from the 20 screening variables is 100%. The final PCA results show that the factor loading values are used to determine which variables are most influential by comparing the magnitude of the correlation. As a result, the main factor causing lung cancer was Fatigue which had a factor loading of 7.87%, followed by the variables Age and Alcohol use with a factor loading of 6.02%. Other variables also showed certain factor loadings that indicated the cause of lung cancer. These findings are very important in efforts to improve early detection and management of lung cancer through more effective and targeted screening.

Abstract

The extent of the terrorist network in Indonesia threatens the threat and integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, manifested in broad trends, organization and systematic networks. Terrorist attacks are increasingly brutal, targeting innocent civilians. The threat is increasingly complex with increasing radicalization and online recruitment, requiring comprehensive action, including cooperation with government agencies, security forces, intelligence, and civil society, as well as a comprehensive approach involving intelligence, community participation, and addressing the root causes of radicalization to eradicate terrorist networks . Eradicating criminal acts of terrorism is a serious challenge for the Indonesian government, with one of the complicated aspects being the implementation of the death penalty against perpetrators of terrorism. This article analyzes Indonesian criminal policy, explains the method of punishment, the Human Rights (HAM) perspective, and critical views on the death penalty. In conclusion, it is important to strike a balance between efforts to enforce the death law and the desire for the principles of human rights and justice in the context of eradicating terrorism. Continuous evaluation of the application of the death law and open dialogue involving various parties are the keys to reaching an agreement that upholds humanitarian values and justice in efforts to overcome criminal acts of terrorism in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between knowledge, availability of infrastructure, and the role of teachers and clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) among students in the school environment during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a Cross Sectional design and is carried out on students from State Elementary Schools (SDN). Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using Univariate Analysis and Bivariate Analysis. The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between student knowledge, availability of infrastructure, and the role of teachers with clean and healthy living behavior in the school environment. These factors play an important role in forming students' awareness and compliance with health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research makes an important contribution to efforts to ensure the safety and health of students in the school environment in the midst of a pandemic and emphasizes the importance of health education and the implementation of PHBS.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of the use of communication technology, especially smartphones, on social interactions in the work environment. Data was collected through a survey filled out by 150 employees from Pt Teodore Pan Garmindo Tasikmalaya. The results of the analysis show that smartphone use has the potential to influence social interactions, especially in the context of face-to-face communication. Women tend to be more involved in social interactions via smartphones compared to men. These findings emphasize the importance of controlling smartphone use wisely in social interaction situations. Effective face-to-face communication remains the key to building harmonious relationships in the work environment.
