Abstract

This study aimed to develop Android-based interactive learning media using the Articulate Storyline 3 application for teaching computer hardware in Grade VII Informatics classes. The development model used was ADDIE, involving expert validation and effectiveness testing in both experimental and control classes. Validation results indicated the media was highly feasible, with average Likert-scale scores above 4.4. Effectiveness testing showed a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding and learning motivation in the experimental class, with an N-Gain score of 0.77 (high category) and motivation levels increasing from “High” to “Very High.” These findings support the integration of Android-based technology in education as an effective strategy to improve learning outcomes, especially in abstract and technical subjects.

Abstract

Abstract

Uji normalitas dan homogenitas merupakan dua prosedur dasar yang penting dalam analisis statistik untuk menjamin validitas hasil analisis parametrik. Kedua pengujian ini seringkali menjadi prasyarat dalam berbagai teknik analisis yang memerlukan asumsi distribusi normal dan persamaan varians. Pentingnya kedua pengujian ini terletak pada kemampuannya mendeteksi penyimpangan data yang dapat mempengaruhi keakuratan kesimpulan yang diambil. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai penerapan uji normalitas dan homogenitas yang tepat di kalangan peneliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan untuk mengkaji berbagai literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat berbagai metode untuk menguji normalitas dan homogenitas, pemilihan metode yang tepat sangat bergantung pada karakteristik data yang digunakan, seperti ukuran sampel dan sebaran data. Kesimpulannya, pemahaman yang baik mengenai uji normalitas dan homogenitas sangat penting dalam menjamin validitas hasil analisis statistik, dan dapat memberikan panduan yang berguna bagi peneliti dalam memilih metode yang sesuai dengan datanya.
