Abstract

This study analyzes Coca-Cola's marketing strategy in West Kalimantan by considering national economic factors and local market dynamics. Using a qualitative descriptive design with SWOT analysis, this research examines soft drink market conditions, consumer preferences, distribution position of PT Coca-Cola Distribusi Indonesia, and opportunities and challenges in increasing turnover. The results showed that Coca-Cola's marketing strategy in West Kalimantan needs to be adjusted to local consumer preferences and market dynamics. Recommendations include content adjustment based on demographics, local collaboration, and focus on potential economic sectors. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions for Coca-Cola to design more effective marketing strategies in West Kalimantan.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of marketing strategies in increasing sales of PT Anzon Auto Plaza's car showroom in the midst of fierce competition in the Indonesian automotive industry. This research uses a qualitative descriptive design by collecting primary and secondary data through observations, interviews, and internal company sales data. The results of the analysis show that MPV models, particularly Avanza and Calya, are the best-selling vehicle models, which may be influenced by effective discount promotions. The time trend shows that despite an increase in demand for motor vehicles due to economic growth and urbanization, PT Anzon Auto Plaza experienced a 23% decrease in sales during the period January to March 2023, possibly influenced by seasonal factors such as the month of Ramadan and economic fluctuations. Increased sales at the beginning of the year, possibly influenced by economic factors. Based on the research results, it is recommended that PT Anzon Auto Plaza implement a stronger marketing strategy during February and March, diversify the product portfolio, continue promotional programs that have proven effective, conduct more in-depth market research, and evaluate the success of MPV models to improve the marketing strategy of other models.

Abstract

This study analyzed the factors influencing the optimal planning of swallow nest houses in the Siantan region of West Kalimantan, focusing on one semi-traditional type house. The study identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) through qualitative and descriptive analysis. The results showed that house size, fluctuations in the number of swallows, and fluctuations in market prices had a significant impact on income. Although initial investment and environmental conditions are stable, expansion of house size, technological improvements, and monitoring of the swallow population are key factors to optimize production and income. This study highlights the need for long-term planning that considers price fluctuations, changing environmental conditions, and sustainability principles to achieve business stability and manage risks. This study provides recommendations for swallow nest house owners to improve optimal planning and income, such as expanding house size, improving technology, product diversification, collaboration with stakeholders, monitoring external conditions, and risk management. This research is expected to assist in business strategy formulation, human resource training, and innovation adoption in the swallow nest industry.
