Abstract

Abstract

Background: Nausea and vomiting (emesis gravidarum) is a condition of nausea and vomiting commonly found in pregnant women that appears in the first trimester of pregnancy, namely the second or eighth week after conception. One of the efforts to overcome nausea and vomiting is non-pharmacological therapy, for example giving white ginger drink which contains gingerol which has anti-nausea and vomiting properties. Objective:. To determine the effectiveness of white ginger drink (Zingber officinale var.amarum) in reducing nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women at PMB Aulia Insani. Methods: His type of research uses Quasy Experimental with Pre Posttest with Control Design. In this design, it was divided into two groups, namely the control group (not given white ginger drink) and the treatment group (given white ginger drink) before the treatment was given, previously the sample was given a pretest and after the experiment the sample was given a posttest.Result: There is effectiveness of white ginger drink in reducing nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women, because white ginger contains shogaol and gingerol compounds which can act as anti-nauseaConclusion: There is effectiveness of white ginger drink in reducing nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women, because white ginger contains shogaol and gingerol compounds which can act as anti-nauseaKeywords: White ginger drink, nausea and vomiting, first trimester pregnant women.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the video-assisted discovery learning model that is implemented with blended learning on the concept of straight motion in high school. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila using the experimental method and the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This design has a pretest before being given treatment and a posttest after being given treatment. From the N-gain test data, the average pretest value is 5.30 and the posttest average value is 76.30. The normalized N-gain value is 0.75 in the high category. Hypothesis testing on the data obtained tcount of 58.13 while the value of ttable at a significance level of 5% is 2.03452. Thus tcount > ttable So it can be concluded that there is an effect of student learning outcomes after the application of the discovery learning learning model assisted by video implementation of blended learning on the concept of straight motion in high school Keywords: blended learning, discovery learning, high school students. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp385-391

Abstract

Community service conducted by students plays a crucial role in the development of agrotourism, which combines the agricultural sector with tourism to enhance economic and educational value in rural areas. Students from the Ganesha School of Economics collaborated with the Tangerang Selatan Regional Government in developing agrotourism at the Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Garuda PPM 12, in Cipayung, Ciputat, in April 2024. With an area of approximately 2000 m², which is a public facility in the Pondok Payung Mas Residence, this program aims to increase economic capacity and environmental conservation through training and appropriate technology. Challenges in agrotourism development, such as limited resources and market access, can be overcome by enhancing human resource capacity, utilizing technology, and fostering collaboration between the government, industry, academia, and the community. Students contribute through research, education, and mentoring, which help increase productivity, efficiency, and the appeal of agrotourism destinations. The methods of implementation include training and direct field assistance. The positive impacts of this program include local economic improvement, environmental conservation, community empowerment, and strengthening cultural identity. Student involvement in community service in the field of agrotourism not only brings economic benefits but also builds better environmental and cultural awareness

Abstract

The rapid development of the beauty industry in Indonesia has led to intense competition among salons, making customer retention a critical issue in sustaining business growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of price, service quality, and physical environment on customer satisfaction and its subsequent effect on customer loyalty in the salon industry, with a specific focus on Fenina Salon & Reflexology in Cikarang. Utilizing a quantitative research method, data were collected through an online questionnaire employing a 7-point Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via Smart PLS 4. A total of 121 valid responses were used. The findings reveal that customer satisfaction strongly and significantly influences customer loyalty. Both price and physical environment significantly affect satisfaction, whereas service quality does not show a statistically significant impact. These results indicate that while competitive pricing and a pleasant physical setting enhance satisfaction, perceived service quality alone may not drive it in this context. This study concludes that customer satisfaction acts as a key mediator between operational factors and loyalty. The insights emphasize the importance for salon managers to prioritize pricing strategies and environmental aesthetics over service quality alone. Future research should consider broader age groups and include other psychological or experiential factors for a more comprehensive understanding of customer loyalty in the salon sector.
