Abstract

Hari demi hari, Iran terus melancarkan serangan terhadap pangkalan AS, mengancam posisi AS di Timur Tengah. Sejak Revolusi Islam di Iran pada tahun 1979 yang menggulingkan monarki Iran di bawah pemerintahan Mohammad Reza Pahlavi yang diketahui mendapat tekanan imperialisme AS, hubungan Iran-AS semakin memburuk. Meski menghadapi banyak sanksi dari AS, Iran, meski menjadi salah satu negara yang paling terkena sanksi di dunia, berhasil memperkuat pengaruhnya di Timur Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif literatur politik, ekonomi, dan sosial. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkap keterlibatan Iran dalam perang proksi, sehingga memungkinkan Iran memperluas pengaruhnya di Timur Tengah ke Irak, Suriah, Yaman, Lebanon, dan Palestina.

Abstract

Radicalism can arise from various factors, including religious, economic, political, and social issues. This can cause conflict that increases the potential for social disintegration. In this context, an Islamic legal approach that focuses on the principle of maqasid al-shari’ah becomes important. This study aims to discuss the concept of hifz al-daulah to deal with the phenomenon of radicalism and social conflict in post-reformation Indonesia. This study is library research because the data comes from books and journals. The collected data are analyzed descriptively. This study concludes that radicalism and social conflict have increased post-reformation. To overcome this, it is necessary to instill and socialize the importance of national unity based on maqasid al-shari’ah. Maqasid al-shari’ah emphasizes an understanding of the objectives of Islamic law, including hifz al-ummah, namely the principle of protecting the state, justice, and community welfare. Understanding and implementing the principle of hifz al-daulah in maqasid al-shari’ah is important as an effort to solve social conflict problems and build a harmonious and peaceful society in Indonesia.

Abstract

The escalation of ecological crises is increasingly evident in contemporary society, particularly with the surge in ecological disasters across various regions of Indonesia. This phenomenon is intricately linked to the intensifying extreme weather patterns, a consequence of post-World War II industrialization and the unchecked expansion of industries in developing nations. This study delves into the ideologies and actions of the Front Nahdliyin for the Sovereignty of Natural Resources (FNKSDA) aimed at mitigating the unfolding ecological catastrophes, which are symptomatic of the ongoing crisis. It investigates how FNKSDA's initiatives intersect with the principles of progressive Islam. Notably, one of FNKSDA's key endeavors involves countering neo-extractivist practices spearheaded by PT BSI in Banyuwangi, which resulted in devastating mud floods in 2016. Employing a comprehensive literature review methodology encompassing scholarly works, journals, and pertinent press releases, this research unveils FNKSDA's alignment with progressive Islamic tenets. Conceptually, this alignment manifests through their interpretative approaches to religious texts, while in practice, it is evidenced through their advocacy for marginalized communities and steadfast resistance against oppressive systems.

Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the concept of Keluarga Maslahah in the NU Online platform. The maslahah family is a happy, prosperous, and obedient family unit in Islam. This article uses a qualitative method with a text analysis approach. Primary data is taken from the NU Online website, and secondary data is taken from various scientific articles, books, and relevant websites. The data was analyzed deductively. The study results concluded that a happy family is essential in achieving personal and societal well-being, emphasizing the role of suitable partners, obedient children, and a harmonious environment. The relationship between the concept of the Maslahah Family and the principles of maqasid al-shari'ah shows that following these principles can lead to a better understanding of family dynamics and the path to a successful and fulfilling life. Efforts to realize a family maslahah include implementing the Family Planning (KB) program, rejecting child marriage or early marriage, providing family guidance and counseling, and holding pre-marriage guidance and counseling. Thus, the family can reject the existing mafsadat and feel the benefits. Keywords: NU Online, maslahah family, sakinah family, maqasid al-shari’ah. Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas konsep Keluarga Maslahah dalam platform NU Online. Keluarga maslahah adalah unit keluarga yang bahagia, sejahtera, dan taat dalam Islam. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis teks. Data primer diambil dari website NU Online dan data sekundernya diambil dari berbagai artikel ilmiah, buku-buku, dan website yang relevan. Data dianalisis secara deduktif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa bahwa tercapainya keluarga yang bahagia penting dalam mencapai kesejahteraan pribadi dan masyarakat, dengan menekankan peran pasangan yang baik, anak-anak yang taat, dan lingkungan yang harmonis. Hubungan antara konsep Keluarga Maslahah dan prinsip-prinsip maqasid al-shari’ah, menunjukkan bahwa mengikuti prinsip-prinsip ini dapat mengarah pada pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang dinamika keluarga dan jalan menuju kehidupan yang sukses dan memuaskan. Upaya-upaya untuk mewujudkan keluarga maslahah, antara lain dengan menerapkan program Keluarga Berencana (KB), menolak pernikahan anak atau pernikahan dini, mengadakan bimbingan dan konseling keluarga, serta mengadakan bimbingan dan konseling pra pernikahan. Dengan demikian, keluarga dapat menolak mafsadat yang ada serta dapat merasakan maslahat-maslahatnya. Kata kunci: NU Online, keluarga maslahah, keluarga sakinah, maqasid al-shari’ah.
