Abstract

Contemporary education faces challenges from globalization, secularism, and the fragmentation of knowledge, which often neglect the spiritual and moral dimensions. This has led to an identity crisis among Muslim youth. Islamic philosophy, with its core values such as hikmah (wisdom), tauhid (the oneness of Allah), and adab (morality), offers a holistic framework for integrating spiritual and moral dimensions into education. This journal aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic philosophical values in addressing the challenges of modern education and provides concrete recommendations for integrating these values into educational curricula. Employing a qualitative approach through literature analysis, this journal finds that Islamic philosophy offers a robust foundation for an educational system that not only produces intellectually intelligent individuals but also those who are morally grounded and possess an Islamic character. The integration of these values can be realized through a curriculum design based on tauhid, the development of wisdom-based learning, and the inculcation of adab as a core competency. The findings of this journal are expected to contribute significantly to building an educational system that remains relevant to the challenges of the modern era while preserving the essence of spirituality and morality, which lie at the heart of Islamic philosophy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali makna yang terkandung dalam pertunjukan Sisingaan di Lingkungan Seni Tresnawangi Group yang berada di Kabupaten Subang. Sisingaan merupakan salah satu bentuk pertunjukan tradisional yang populer di daerah ini, yang melibatkan penggunaan topeng singa dan tari-tarian yang enerjik.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi komunikasi melibatkan observasi langsung, wawancara dengan para pelaku dan pengamat pertunjukan, serta studi literatur terkait. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi makna yang terkait dengan pertunjukan Sisingaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertunjukan Sisingaan di Lingkungan Seni Tresnawangi Group memiliki beberapa makna yang mendalam. Pertama, pertunjukan ini memiliki  memiliki makna sosial dan budaya. Pertunjukan ini menjadi sarana untuk memperkuat identitas lokal dan mempertahankan warisan budaya yang ada di Kabupaten Subang. Selama pertunjukan, peserta dan penonton terlibat dalam interaksi sosial yang mempererat hubungan antaranggota masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang makna dan signifikansi pertunjukan Sisingaan di Lingkungan Seni Tresnawangi Group. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah setempat dalam upaya melestarikan dan mempromosikan pertunjukan tradisional ini sebagai bagian penting dari kekayaan budaya daerah. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dapat menjadi sumbangan pengetahuan dalam bidang studi seni pertunjukan dan antropologi budaya.

Abstract

The government has observed that the formation of national character through education at all levels of education, but its implementation has not shown optimal results. One of the character education strengthening programs launched by the government is character education based on community empowerment. This study discusses local wisdom that is still adhered to by the indigenous people of Kuta Village, Ciamis as the Strengthening of Local Wisdom Character Education Based on Community Empowerment. In this study, a qualitative approach was used with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The data obtained were then analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the indigenous people of Kuta Village in their daily lives reflect the main character values ​​contained in the Strengthening of Character Education. These character values ​​include religious, nationalist, mutual cooperation, independent, integrity, and mutual cooperation. The manifestation of these character values ​​can be seen in their lives through several activities, namely local wisdom field schools, revitalization of art preservation, and development of UMKM based on the potential of existing natural resources.
