Abstract

Riba refers to the provision of additional value given by exceeding the nominal amount of a loan at the time of repayment. The interest rate is determined based on a certain percentage charged to the borrower. In Arabic, riba means excess or addition (az-ziyadah). In Islam, riba is strictly prohibited. The Qur'an explicitly declares that riba is forbidden because it is considered harmful and creates injustice in economic transactions. This prohibition aims to maintain social balance and protect parties involved in transactions from economic exploitation. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. This approach aims to explore the views of scholars and authoritative Islamic sources, such as the Qur'an, hadith, and fiqh literature. Based on the findings from various reliable sources, Islamic law clearly states that riba is haram. This prohibition is supported by theological and ethical arguments emphasizing the importance of justice and blessings in all aspects of muamalah. Thus, riba is not only viewed as an economic issue but also as a moral and spiritual concern that must be avoided by Muslims

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami tentang kemampuan bangsa indonesia dalam merespon tantangan globalisasi pendidikan pasca reformasi kemerdekaan. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, sedangkan jenis eksplorasinya adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Dalam pencarian datanya digunakan studi naskah. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa bangsa Indonesia telah menunjukkan kemampuan untuk merespons tantangan tersebut. Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, pemanfaatan teknologi dan internasionalisasi pendidikan adalah langkah penting yang terus dikembangkan. perubahannya diantaranya reformasi kurikulum, peningkatan kwalitas guru, pemanfaatan TIK, Peningkatan Akses pendidikan di daerah terpencil dengan melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pemerintah, masyarakat, dan dunia usaha, sehingga Indonesia dapat memanfaatkan globalisasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan menghasilkan generasi yang siap menghadapi kompetisi global walaupun konsekuensi dari globalisasi ini adalah bahwa masyarakat Indonesia siap menjawab dampak negatif dan positif globalisasi, bangsa Indonesia seharusnya cenderung relatif sebagaimana manhaj Islam yang refleksi dan moderat dan masyarakat Indonesia senang dengan karakternya, tidak menghindari hal-hal baru dan tidak mengakuinya secara ekstrim

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of revitalizing traditional values at Pesantren Jamiyatul Abror Cigalontang Tasikmalaya in responding to the modernization of Islamic education. The background of this research arises from the phenomenon of transformation within pesantren education systems that face the challenges of globalization and digitalization, yet strive to preserve classical Islamic values such as adab (ethics), sincerity, and humility. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing data collection techniques such as participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the pesantren revitalizes its traditional values through three main strategies: integrating moral values into the formal curriculum, revitalizing the teaching of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) using digital tools, and strengthening the role of the kyai as a moral and spiritual exemplar. The modernization process does not diminish the pesantren’s identity but instead reinforces it through innovation grounded in Islamic values. The study concludes that Pesantren Jamiyatul Abror successfully developed an Adaptive Traditional Values Revitalization Model (RVT-A) a model of pesantren transformation that harmonizes tradition and modernity.

Abstract

The problems discussed in this research are 1) How are inflation, exchange rates, interest rates and share prices in the banking sub-sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. 2) What is the influence of inflation, exchange rates, interest rates partially on share prices in the banking sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. 3) How is the influence of inflation, exchange rates and interest rates simultaneously on share prices in the banking sub-sector listed listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research results show that inflation financing, exchange rates, interest rates together have a significant positive effect on share prices in the banking sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2008-2022 period.

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in fostering national character and civilization. In Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) occupies a crucial position within the national education system. Its importance extends beyond the spiritual aspect to the development of students' morals, ethics, and personalities. PAI serves as the foundation for developing a generation with noble character, responsibility, and social awareness. This study analyzes the importance of integrating Islamic values ​​into formal education, particularly in the face of the challenges of globalization, moral degradation, and the identity crisis of the younger generation. PAI serves as an ideological bulwark against the negative influences of external cultures and is an effective medium for instilling the values ​​of tolerance, peace, and diversity in accordance with the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity). This study employed a literature review method with a qualitative-descriptive approach through document analysis, educational regulations, and research related to PAI in Indonesia. The results show that PAI plays a vital role in developing education that is not only cognitively oriented, but also affective and psychomotor. A comprehensive PAI curriculum has been shown to positively impact student behavior in schools and society.

Abstract

Educational policy analysis is a systematic process aimed at understanding, evaluating, and providing recommendations on policies related to the education system and its practices. This article seeks to elaborate on various approaches and methods used in educational policy analysis and their relevance within the context of educational development in Indonesia. The approaches discussed include normative, empirical, and critical approaches, each offering a distinct perspective in assessing policy. The analytical methods employed encompass descriptive, comparative, and evaluative analyses, as well as quantitative and qualitative data-based approaches. This study emphasizes that the effectiveness of educational policy analysis largely depends on the researcher’s ability to integrate theoretical approaches with accurate empirical data. Therefore, educational policy analysis functions not only as an evaluation tool but also as a strategic instrument in formulating policies that are more responsive, inclusive, and equitable. The findings are expected to enrich academic discourse and policy practices, particularly in efforts to improve the quality and equity of national education.
