Abstract

The background of this research is the question of the daily test of Class XI IPA on the material of human respiratory system at MAN Sibolga Plus Skills then the question was analyzed by the researcher. The results of the question analysis indicated that MAN Sibolga Plus Skills students still used tests that tended to be categorized as Low Order Thinking Skills (LOTS), so the researchers raised the issue of developing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) instruments to measure students' thinking skills. The research and development (R&D) method used in this study by applying the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The instruments used in this study were validation and questionnaire. The results of this study were experts validated the questionnaire and instrument to the validator then the validator provided comments and assessments, namely that the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) test instrument product to measure students' thinking skills on the material of the respiratory system has a very high level of validity with an average of 87.25%. The results of data analysis from the practicality questionnaire from the teacher response at State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Pinangsori reached a percentage of 100% and the results of the student response questionnaire with a sample of 36 students reached an average value of 93.8% with a very practical category. The Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) test instrument used to measure students' thinking skills on this respiratory material is included in the highly effective category. The effectiveness of this Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) test instrument can be seen with an average value of 83.86%, with a very high category.

Abstract

Sumber belajar adalah segala sumber yang dimanfaatkan guru dalam proses pembelajaran baik secara terpisah maupun terkombinasi untuk tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan oleh guru salah satunya yaitu modul ajar. Modul ajar merupakan kata lain RPP pada kurikulum merdeka. Profil pelajar rahmatan lil alamin komponen yang mesti dimiliki modul ajar. Profil pelajar rahmatan lil alamin dapat mewujudkan perilaku taffaquh fiddin peserta didik. Tenaga pendidik diharuskan menguasai penggunaan perangkat teknologi dalam penerapan modul ajar. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengahasilkan modul ajar yang valid. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan 4-D yaitu Define (Pendefenisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), and Dessiminate (Penyebaran). Tetapi, penelitian ini dibatasi sampai tahap pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan dan SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Selatan. Validator modul ajar ini yaitu 3 validator yaitu dosen jurusan tadris biologi UIN SYAHADA. Penelitian ini menghasilkan modul ajar berbasis technological pedagogical and content knowledge yang valid dengan rata-rata nilai validitas 91,48%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to contribute new knowledge, the contribution of this research is expected to increase our understanding of the factors that affect learning difficulties in the context of certain scientific materials, such as the human nervous system. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative method. This research tool is observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research is a lot of complicated scientific terms, lack of interesting learning media. Students have difficulty in understanding the mechanism of impulse transmission, students have difficulty in understanding the material concept of human nervous system, and have difficulty in applying the knowledge. This learning difficulty is caused by several factors, namely the complexity of the human nervous system material, low student interest and motivation, lack of intelligence possessed by students, inappropriate learning styles, lack of supporting media, student learning habits, minimal allocation given, absence of peer tutors, the busyness of teachers as deputy principals causes teachers to rarely enter the classroom, low student confidence, health that affects student learning outcomes, lack of attention from parents, low economic factors, school background that previously affected student learning activities. Efforts that can be made to overcome students' difficulties in learning human nervous system material are to improve their understanding of basic concepts by using relevant analogies and examples, increase learning motivation by making learning active and fun, improve learning skills by teaching students effective learning techniques, improve cooperation between teachers, parents and students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menyumbangkan pengetahuan baru, kontribusi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah pemahaman kita tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesulitan belajar dalam konteks materi ilmiah tertentu, seperti sistem saraf manusia. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Instrument penelitian ini observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu banyak istilah ilmiah yang rumit, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik. Siswa kesulitan memahami mekanisme penghantaran implus, siswa kesulitan dalam memahami konsep materi sistem saraf manusia, kesulitan menerapkan pengetahuan. Kesulitan belajar ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu rumitnya materi sistem saraf manusia, minat dan motivasi siswa rendah, intelegensi yang dimiliki siswa kurang, gaya belajar yang tidak sesuai, kurangnya media pendukung, kebiasaan belajar siswa, alokasi yang diberikan minim, tidak adanya tutor teman sebaya, kesibukan guru sebagai wakil kepala sekolah menyebabkan guru jarang masuk ke kelas, kepercayaan diri siswa rendah, kesehatan yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa, kurangnya perhatian dari orangtua, faktor ekonomi yang rendah, latar belakang sekolah yang sebelumnya mempengaruhi aktivitas belajar siswa. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari materi sistem saraf manusia adalah meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar dengan cara mnggunakan analogi dan contoh yang relevan, Meningkatkan motivasi belajar dengan cara membuat pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan, Meningkatkan keterampilan belajar dengan cara mengajarkan siswa teknik belajar yang efektif, Meningkatkan kerjasama antara guru, orangtua, dan siswa.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence or AI is one of the technological achievements that is changing the landscape in various sectors of human life. Along with the development of technology, AI is taking an important role in various aspects of life, including higher education. In this digital era, AI has become an important partner and tool for students in solving their “problems”. This study aims to see the effectiveness of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning biology. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method using a questionnaire, Likert Scale, which was made in google form and then sent to Whatsapp Group and students' private chat. By using random method 52 biology students from semester III, V and VII have participated in this study. The percentage of the results of this study shows that 13.46% of students very often, 67.31% often, 19.23% Sometimes 0% of students never use AI in their learning process, for students AI has become something commonplace in helping them do lecture assignments, find relevant material and information, work on practicum activity reports and field lectures and for the final level AI really helps them in doing their final lecture assignments such as proposals and theses.Keywords: Effective, Artificial Intelligence, Learning, Biology
