Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh layanan bimbingan  kelompok  terhadap  perilaku  prososial  siswa kelas VII. A SMP Negeri 22 Kota Bengkulu.  Metode  yang  digunakan yaitu  ekperimen  one  group  pretest- posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 12 siswa kelas VII. A  yang dipilih menggunakan teknik  purposive  sampling.  Pengumpulan  data  pada  penelitian  ini menggunakan  skala perilaku prososial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 12 siswa kelas VII.A  meningkat setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok. Nilai z = -3063, (p < 0,05) ini berarti menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap perilaku prososial siswa Kelas VII.A SMP Negeri 22 Kota Bengkulu. Kata kunci: perilaku prososial, layanan bimbingan kelompok

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara empiris pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik bermain peran terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan spiritual siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 17 Kota Bengkulu yaitu sebanyak 21 siswa dengan sampel 10 orang siswa yang memiliki skor kecerdasan spiritual rendah, teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling.Kemudian akan diberikan treatment berupa bimbingan kelompok, setelah itu siswa diberi angket posttest. Uji persyaratan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Z diperoleh nilai Z = -2.848 (p<0,05) maka H0 ditolak,

Abstract

This study aimed to described the effects of learning guidance services with mind maps software MindMaple_Lite_v165 on the ability to elaborate by students of SMP Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu. The sample of this study was 21 students of class VIII F taken by using purposive sampling technique. This study was a Quasi Experiment with one group pre test and post test design. The instrument used in this study was ability test of elaborating Civics Education. Data were analyzed by using paired-samples t test. The results showed that there was significant difference between the scores of the ability to elaborate before treatment and those of the ability to elaborate after getting treatment with a value of t = - 14,361 (p bigger than 0,05). It means that there was a significant effect of learning guidance services with software mind map to increase the ability of elaboration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA Learning Model to Improve Problem Solving and Mathematical Communication Skills of Students in Class VII SMPN 3 Sindang Kelingi, Rejang Lebong Regency. This research is a development research using a modification of the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) which is limited to the 3rd stage. The subjects of this study were 30 students of Class VII SMPN 3 Sindang Kelingi, Rejang Lebong Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: Mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA learning model are valid, practical, and effective. The results of the development of mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA learning model can improve problem solving skills with an average achievement of 79.8% which is classically included in the high category and can improve mathematical communication skills with an average achievement of 81% which is classically included in high category. Conclusion. Mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA learning model can improve students' problem solving and mathematical communication skills, besides that the teaching materials developed are valid, practical, and effective in orienting students through solving and proposing mathematical problems. Abstract

THE EFFECT OF GROUP COUNSELING SERVICES ON SELF-EFFICACY OF THE STUDENT WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES. A student with learning difficulties tends to have low self-efficacy in the learning process. The student should be encouraged to have high self-efficacy. Higher self-efficacy shows a more persistent attitude, engage in learning, not worry, and not experience pressure in dealing with problems. This study aims to describe the effect of group counseling services on the self-efficacy of students with learning difficulties in students in Junior High School. This research is a quasi-experimental with one group pre-test-post-test design. The subjects of this were eight students in class VIII. Data collected by AUM PTSDL to found the student with a Learning difficulty and self-efficacy questionnaires to measure the self-efficacy of the student. The results showed that the students' self-efficacy in learning difficulties increased after treatment with the group counseling service. It has shown from the results of differences test between pretest and postest with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (Z test) value = -2, 527 (p < 0,05). This means that there was a significant differences self-efficacy of students with learning difficulties before and after group counseling services treatment to the subject. Self-efficacy of the student increase after treatment. This result then was discussed.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much the storytelling method can improve speaking skills and student reading skills and to determine the effectiveness of using storytelling methods in students' speaking skills and reading skills. The population of this study were all students of SDN 55 Bengkulu Selatan. The sample used was 30 students in one class in class III SDN 55 South Bengkulu. This study was classified as quasi experimental with one group pretest posttest design which only used one group for the pretest and posttest design. The instrument of this study was a test, this initial study was conducted pretest, then carried out the application of the storytelling method (treatman) and the final activity was carried out posttest. The results of the study on speaking skills showed that there was an increase in student scores from 38 to 50.83, which included aspects of intonation 31.03%, pronunciation aspects 35.59%, fluency aspects 34.52%, and vocal aspects 33.94%. The results of the reading skills study showed that there was an increase in student scores from 40.66 to 51.83 which included 25.81% pronunciation aspects, 25.42% intonation, 33.32% fluency aspects, and 25.40% sound clarity aspects. This study concluded that: First, the Storytelling method can improve speaking skills and reading skills in students as indicated by an increase in the average score of 33.77%, for speaking skills and an increase in the average score of 27.48%, for reading skills, which covering each of the four aspects of speaking and reading. Second, the Storytelling method gives a significant influence (0.05) in improving students' speaking and reading skills. This study will contribute to teachers as one of the effective strategies in teaching students to speak and read.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was  to investigate the EFL teachers’ perceptions concerning the textbook of “Think Globally Act Locally” on these criteria: (1) physical and utilitarian attributes, (2) efficient outlay of objectives and supplementary material, (3) learning- teaching content, (4) language skills and aspects. Thirty two EFL teachers of junior high school participated in this study. The instrument consisted of questionnaire and interview. Results indicated that in physical and utilitarian attributes, this textbook was perceived as ‘Good’, in efficient outlay and supplementary materials was perceived as   ‘Fair’,   in learning-teaching content was perceived as ‘Fair’,  and in language skills and aspects was perceived  as  ‘Fair’.  Overall,  this  textbook  was  perceived  as ‘Fair’.  It  still  needs improvement in several aspects. The illustrations should be more natural. The mistakes in this textbook should be corrected. Teaching aids like audio materials (cassette/CD), posters, and flashcards, need to accompany this textbook. The exercises should be varied. New word list and glossary should  be provided to support vocabulary building and reading   skill.   Finally,   authentic   audio   material   like   cassette/CD   and   phonetic transcriptions for each new word should be available for listening and pronunciation practice.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of low student assertive behavior at SMP Negeri 30 Bengkulu Selatan This study intends to describe how service content mastery of traditional assertive training methodologies affects students in the eighth grade at SMP Negeri 30 Bengkulu Selatan's increased assertive conduct. An experimental one-group pretest-posttest design method is employed in this study methodology. 101 pupils made up the study's population. 33 students made up the sample in this study. Through the use of random sampling, samples were collected. A questionnaire with a Likert scale was employed in this study's data collection method.. The data analyzed by the t test . The results indicate an increase in students' assertive behavioor. The average value before the services is provided is 84.2 in the low category, after being given the service, the average score became 117.3 in the high category. The results show the value of t = -37.984 (p=<0.05). This means that there is a significant influence of content mastery services in the classical format of assertive training techniques on increasing students' assertive behavior.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine a model to improve employee performance through perceptions of organizational support and organizational commitment to employee performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the Central Bengkulu Regency Government. Quantitative approaches and survey methods were used to collect data. Based on the statistical test, the results of the study indicate that the perception of organizational support and organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, job satisfaction can mediate between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment to employee performance because it has a significant positive value. Keywords: Perception of Organizational Support, Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction and Performance Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji model peningkatan kinerja pegawai melalui persepsi dukungan organisasi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi di Pemerintah Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. Pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Berdasarkan uji statistik, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan organisasi dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi antara persepsi dukungan organisasi dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan karena memiliki nilai positif yang signifikan. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the practice of personnel management at the University of Bengkulu which is seen from the aspects of the preparation and determination of government apparatus, procurement of government apparatus, government apparatus ranks and positions, career development, allowances and salaries and the application of discipline. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with survey methods. In this study, the authors collected information data and basic information by using a distributed questionnaire. The data that will be used in this study is primary data obtained directly from respondents, namely government apparatus in Bengkulu University. Research respondents amounted to 296 people or 93.4% of the total education staff at Bengkulu University. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that (1) the preparation and determination of needs in the management of government apparatus at Bengkulu University has been arranged adequately; (2) Procurement is in the category according to need. In the procurement of government apparatus, Bengkulu University's personnel management carried out adequate planning; (3) In the implementation of the next government apparatus management, management of government apparatus ranks and positions is carried out; (4) The dimensions of career development in government apparatus management at Bengkulu University have been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations; (5) The response to the assessment of government apparatus performance in the implementation of government apparatus management is in accordance with applicable regulations; (6) Salaries and allowances for government apparatus at Bengkulu University have been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations; and (7) employee discipline within the Bengkulu University is in the appropriate category. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengumpulkan data informasi dan informasi dasar dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan. Responden penelitian berjumlah 296 orang atau 93,4% dari total tenaga kependidikan Universitas Bengkulu. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) persiapan dan penetapan kebutuhan dalam penyelenggaraan aparatur pemerintahan di Universitas Bengkulu sudah tertata dengan baik; (2) Pengadaan dalam kategori sesuai kebutuhan. Dalam pengadaan aparatur pemerintah, manajemen kepegawaian Universitas Bengkulu melakukan perencanaan yang memadai; (3) Dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan aparatur pemerintahan selanjutnya dilakukan pengurusan kepangkatan dan jabatan aparatur pemerintahan; (4) Dimensi pengembangan karir pada manajemen aparatur pemerintah di Universitas Bengkulu telah dilaksanakan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku; (5) Respon terhadap penilaian kinerja aparatur pemerintah dalam penyelenggaraan manajemen aparatur pemerintah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku; (6) Gaji dan tunjangan aparatur pemerintah di lingkungan Universitas Bengkulu telah dilaksanakan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku; dan (7) disiplin pegawai di lingkungan Universitas Bengkulu termasuk dalam kategori sesuai.
