Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of self-regulated learning of male and female studentsin junior high schools (SMP) in the residency of Surakarta. This quantitative studyinvolved 223 students consisting of 115 male students and 108 female students as theresearch subjects. The instrument used is the Self-regulated Learning Scale which wasdeveloped based on aspects of Zimmerman's theory with the results of the validity testusing a CVI of 0.68 to 1.00 and a reliability test with a Cronbach alpha value of 0.893. Thedata analysis method used in this study is Non Parametric with the Mann-Whitney Test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the self-regulated learning of male students and female students during the pandemic period, the self-regulated learning of female students was higher than male students.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out the resilience of the tenth grade students boarding school SMA IT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo. Methodology: This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. Sampling using purposive random sampling method with samples of 50 schoolgirls. Data collection method using resiliency scale measurement tool is then described. Results: Based on the results shows that the majority of students of grade X boarding school HIGH school IT Nur Hidayah have a low level of resilience (38%), while the other students are at a very low level (22%), medium (18%), high (14%) And very high (8%) So that it can be concluded that X class boarding school has low resiliency.Applications/Originality/Value: resilience is needed in adolescence to turn negative experiences into positive ones especially needed for teen boarding schools.

Abstract

Interest patterns are the characteristic of a student's interest in which the student wishes to engage in a particular field. The pattern of interest of students in vocational high school in Indonesia should be known to obtain an appropriate career based on the student's interest. To reveal the pattern of interest, an instrument based on the Holland theory has been developed in Indonesia. Nevertheless, the test is performed manually using pencil and paper thus there are some ineffectiveness during the implementation. Moreover, it requires longer time for data processing and is susceptible to error. Therefore, a computer-based application that can measure the interest patterns is built. With the existence of this computer-based application, data processing can be done quickly and accurately without any errors and can be accessed anywhere and anytime. This research found that the use of the application can support the effectiveness and efficiency of the test in recognizing the interest pattern of a student.
