Abstract

This research investigates how the performance of PT Patco Elektronik Teknologi employees is influenced by leadership, training and work motivation. The survey used was a questionnaire distributed to employees. The results of the analysis show that good leadership improves employee performance because an inspirational leader can motivate the team to achieve common goals. In addition, systematic and relevant training improves employee skills and knowledge, which results in increased productivity. Apart from that, work motivation is also proven to have an effect, because motivated employees show better performance. The results show that good leadership, appropriate training programs, and high motivation are important components in improving employee performance. PT Patco Elektronik Teknologi management must create ongoing leadership and training programs to improve performance.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity aimed to increase public awareness and encourage early detection of degenerative diseases, which are increasingly prevalent in Indonesia, particularly among the elderly population. The program was conducted in Tanjung Pule Village, North Indralaya District, to address the lack of public knowledge and limited health check practices related to non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and high uric acid levels. Design/Methodology/Approach: The program was carried out through a combination of health education and free medical check-ups. The methods included community outreach, distribution of health leaflets, and health screenings measuring blood pressure, blood glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol levels using EasyTouch® GCU devices. The activities were conducted in collaboration with the local health post and village authorities. Findings: The program engaged 30 participants and revealed that more than 50% had elevated levels of uric acid and cholesterol. The health education sessions were well-received, with participants demonstrating increased awareness of symptoms, causes, and prevention strategies. These findings indicate a significant need for continuous health monitoring and preventive interventions in the community. Practical Implications: The outcomes of this program can serve as a practical model for other rural areas facing similar health issues. It emphasizes the importance of integrating education with basic health services to promote community-driven health awareness and disease prevention. Originality/Value: This initiative uniquely combines preventive screening with targeted education in a rural setting, addressing an underrepresented issue in community health outreach. The program contributes to reducing barriers to health access and reinforces the role of universities in supporting local public health efforts.

Abstract

Kebakaran merupakan bencana yang sering terjadi di kawasan padat penduduk dan menimbulkan kerugian besar baik secara material maupun korban jiwa. Desa Simpangan yang berada di Kecamatan Cikarang Utara termasuk wilayah dengan kepadatan penduduk tinggi sehingga berpotensi mengalami kebakaran. Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pencegahan dan penanganan awal kebakaran menjadi latar belakang perlunya pelatihan dasar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mitigasi kebakaran melalui sosialisasi dan praktik langsung. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu pemaparan materi tentang penyebab dan pencegahan kebakaran, demonstrasi penggunaan Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR) serta fire blanket, dan simulasi pemadaman api oleh peserta. Peserta kegiatan sebanyak 30 orang yang terdiri dari perangkat desa, anggota DESTANA, dan warga setempat. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan, di mana sebagian besar peserta mampu mengoperasikan APAR dengan benar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif melalui kombinasi teori dan praktik efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat menghadapi kebakaran.
