Abstract

Learning evaluation at the Junior High School (SMP) level has an important role in ensuring the success of the learning process, forming a knowledge base, and developing students' critical thinking skills. Evaluation is used to assess learning outcomes, provide feedback, and assist students and teachers in identifying areas that need improvement. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing seven relevant articles from 2020-2024. The results of the study show that learning evaluation includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, and is carried out through tests and non-tests. Effective evaluation helps teachers assess the success of the learning process, while for students, evaluation provides motivation to improve their achievements. However, some obstacles were found, such as difficulties in assessing attitudes and skills, which could be overcome through teacher training and improvement of evaluation instruments. With proper evaluation, it is hoped that the improvement of the quality of education in junior high schools can be achieved.

Abstract

This study examines how the application of meaningful learning theory, developed by David Ausubel, can improve students' concept understanding. The theory emphasizes the importance of fitting new information into existing cognitive frameworks, allowing for deeper and longer-lasting understanding. Concepts such as advance organizers, progressive differentiation, knowledge assimilation, and integrative reconciliation are applied to support a more effective learning process. This research uses the literature study method by elaborating on various related sources to gain a thorough understanding of implementing this theory in Indonesia's education context. The results show that applying meaningful learning theory strengthens students' conceptual understanding and encourages the development of critical, creative, and adaptive thinking skills. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to integrate this approach in lesson planning and implementation to make students' learning experiences more relevant, applicable, and meaningful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran teman sebaya dalam mendukung adaptasi sosial siswa tunadaksa di SMP Negeri 24 Surakarta. Adaptasi sosial merupakan proses penting dalam perkembangan siswa, terutama bagi siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus yang sering kali menghadapi hambatan fisik maupun psikologis dalam berinteraksi di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek salah satu siswa tunadaksa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teman sebaya memberikan berbagai bentuk dukungan sosial, terutama dalam bentuk dukungan emosional dan instrumental. Dukungan ini tampak dalam pemberian semangat, bantuan dalam aktivitas di sekolah, serta penerimaan secara sosial oleh kelompok teman. Namun, dukungan informasional belum banyak ditemukan, sehingga menjadi perhatian dalam upaya membangun lingkungan komunikasi yang lebih inklusif. Siswa juga menunjukkan kemampuan adaptasi sosial yang baik, seperti mampu menjalin hubungan, terlibat dalam kegiatan, dan merasa nyaman di sekolah. Secara umum, keberadaan teman sebaya memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap proses adaptasi sosial siswa tunadaksa. Peran mereka sangat penting dalam menciptakan suasana sekolah yang inklusif dan mendukung perkembangan sosial siswa berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

Virtual Reality is a technology that makes users seem to be interacting with their environment even though it is only a computer simulation. This research explores the application of multiplayer virtual reality (VR) technology in a learning system for assembling LAN cables. By combining elements of learning videos and accessible virtual environments together, this research aims to create a collaborative and immersive learning experience. By utilizing multiplayer technology, users can interact in real-time with fellow students, creating a collaborative and engaging learning experience. by paying attention to aspects of conceptual understanding, technical skills, and collaboration between students in a multiplayer virtual environment. This research also focuses on aspects of implementing virtual reality technology to create deeper and more immersive learning simulations. The main goal of this research is to increase interactivity and engagement of students in virtual learning environments.
