Abstract

Abstrak Pelajaran sejarah identik dengan pelajaran yang membosankan dan kurang menarik. Akibatnya pembelajaran sejarah tidak begitu populer dibanding mata pelajaran lainnya. Masalah ini sebenarnya terjadi karena kurangnya metode dan sumber yang digunakan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah. Guru sering menggunakan metode klasik berupa ceramah dan hanya menggunakan sumber dari buku teks saja. Maka dari itu, salah satu solusi yang tepat untuk menciptakan pembelajaran sejarah yang menarik adalah memanfaatkan berbagai sumber-sumber terkait konten kesejarahan, termasuk memanfaatkan film bertema sejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mempopulerkan cerita sejarah melaui film sejarah kepada siswa sebagai sumber dalam memahami topik sejarah. Dalam film sejarah teradapat informasi tentang tokoh, peristiwa, dan tahun terjadinya sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pemutaran film Tjokrominoto: Guru Bangsa dan kemudian mendiskusikanya dengan peserta pengabdian yang terdiri dari 31 siswa SMAN 1 Jatibarang, Kabupaten Indramayu. Hasilnya adalah bertambahnya wawasan kesejarahan para siswa mengenai perjuangan tokoh Tjokrominoto. Film ini juga menambah wawasan siswa dalam memahami materi sejarah pergerakan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan film dalam pembelajaran sejarah adalah langkah yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa terhadap topik sejarah dan diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai media dan sumber pembelajaran sejarah yang menarik. Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Sejarah, Sumber Belajar Sejarah, Film Sejarah Abstract History lessons are identical to boring and less interesting lessons. As a result, history learning is not as popular as other subjects. This problem actually occurs because of the lack of methods and sources used by teachers in designing history learning in schools. Teachers often use the classic method of lectures and only use sources from textbooks. Therefore, one of the right solutions to create interesting history learning is to utilize various sources related to historical content, including utilizing historical-themed films. This study aims to introduce and popularize historical stories through historical films to students as a source in understanding historical topics. In historical films, there is information about figures, events, and the year of history. The method used in this community service is the screening of the film Tjokrominoto: Guru Bangsa and then discussing it with the service participants consisting of 29 students of SMAN 1 Jatibarang, Indramayu Regency. The result is an increase in students' historical insight into the struggle of the figure Tjokrominoto. This film also increases students' insight into understanding the material of the history of the movement. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of films in history learning is the right step to improve students' knowledge of historical topics and is expected to be used as an interesting media and source for learning history. Abstract

This article aims to reveal the beginning of Muhammadiyah's entry in Ciledug, Tangerang City, and its development in the lives of the Ciledug community from 1985 to 2012, as well as the challenges faced and Muhammadiyah's contribution to the welfare of the community in Ciledug, Tangerang. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Respondents in this study were Muhammadiyah figures in Ciledug, leaders of Muhammadiyah institutions, and the community. The results of this study reveal that Muhammadiyah entered the Ciledug Tangerang area around 1958. There are challenges and achievements in the development of Muhammadiyah in Ciledug, Tangerang. The challenges faced by Muhammadiyah in Ciledug, Tangerang are community rejection, such as the prohibition of religious studies, sabotage during the construction of mosques, and the prohibition of schools for children of Muhammadiyah members. The achievements that Muhammadiyah has successfully achieved in Ciledug, Tangerang are contributions through charitable efforts in the fields of da'wah, education, social, and health. Thus, it can be concluded that the difficulties faced by Muhammadiyah in spreading its influence in the Ciledug, Tangerang community did not actually make Muhammadiyah back down from spreading its influence in the Ciledug, Tangerang community. Instead, Muhammadiyah continued to strive to improve the welfare of the community in Ciledug, Tangerang, through charitable activities. Therefore, as it developed, Muhammadiyah was well-received by all levels of Ciledug, Tangerang society. Muhammadiyah then developed into a large organization that continues to this day.
