Abstract

Children should undertake play activities in an enjoyable and engaging environment. Early Childhood Education units in all forms of services must provide support in all elements, both physical and non-physical, so that children can develop in accordance with their developmental stages and features. This community service activity is carried out in the designated area to improve teacher competences and the quality of early childhood education services in the area covered by the S1 PGPAUD Study Program, namely in Jati Barang District, Indramayu Regency, and West Java. Early childhood education instructors in Jati Barang District, Indramayu Regency, West Java will be trained and provided with the abilities to produce engaging and fun activities as well as manage classrooms that are appropriate for children's developmental levels. This activity technique is implemented by offering support at the following stages: 1) Lecture Method; 2) Demonstration Method; and 3) Question and Answer Method. The findings of this exercise assist early childhood education teachers in generating themes and project-based play activities, notably the subject "We Are All Siblings" from the independent curriculum for early life. Keywords: play activity; curricullum; early childhood   Abstrak Kegiatan bermain harus dilakukan oleh anak dalam suasana menyenangkan dan anak terlibat aktif. Satuan PAUD baik dalam berbagai bentuk layanan perlu menyiapkan dukungan dalam segala aspek baik fisik maupun non fisik agar anak berkembang sesuai dengan tahapan dan karakteristik perkembangannya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di wilayah binaan untuk peningkatan kompetensi guru dan kualitas layanan PAUD dilakukan di Wilayah binaan Program Studi S1 PGPAUD yaitu Kecamatan Jati Barang, Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat.  Guru PAUD di Kecamatan Jati Barang, Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat akan dilatih dan dibekali kemampuan dalam mengembangkan aktivitas dan mengelola kelas yang menarik dan menyenangkan serta sesuai dengan rentang perkembangan anak. Metode kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan melakukan pendampingan melalui tahapan berikut: 1) Metode ceramah, 2) Metode Demonstrasi, dan 3) Metode Tanya Jawab. Hasil kegiatan ini memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada guru PAUD dalam mengembangan tema dan kegiatan bermain berbasis proyek, khususnya tema “Kita Semua Bersaudara” dalam kurikulum merdeka anak usia dini. Abstract

  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru PAUD dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran seni tari yang menyenangkan dan kontekstual, melalui pemanfaatan Buku Panduan Pembelajaran Tari pada Anak Usia Dini. Buku panduan ini disusun berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdahulu, telah melalui proses validasi oleh para pakar, dan memperoleh sertifikat Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HKI). Kegiatan dilaksanakan di wilayah Pulau Panggang, Kepulauan Seribu, dengan melibatkan 18 guru PAUD dari Pulau Panggang dan Pulau Pramuka. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan interaktif, praktik langsung eksplorasi gerak, diskusi reflektif, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar rata-rata 35% serta terbentuknya produk kreasi tari berbasis pengalaman dan nilai-nilai lokal. Buku panduan diberikan dalam bentuk cetak dan soft file yang dapat diakses melalui barcode. Kegiatan ini berhasil menjawab kebutuhan guru akan model pembelajaran seni yang aplikatif, kreatif, dan mudah diterapkan di kelas PAUD. Penguatan kapasitas guru melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat dilanjutkan secara berkelanjutan guna mendukung pengembangan pendidikan seni yang kontekstual dan progresif di wilayah kepulauan. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran tari pendidikan: pendidikan seni: buku panduan tari pendidikan Abstract This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in implementing fun and contextual dance learning through the use of the Dance Learning Guidebook Based on Play. The guidebook was developed based on previous research, has been validated by experts, and has received Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) certification. The activity was carried out in Pulau Panggang, Kepulauan Seribu, involving 18 PAUD teachers from Pulau Panggang and Pulau Pramuka. The implementation methods included socialization, interactive training, hands-on movement exploration practice, reflective discussions, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed an average increase in participants' understanding by 35%, along with the creation of dance products based on experience and local values. The guidebook was distributed in printed and digital formats, accessible via barcode scanning. This activity successfully addressed the teachers' need for an applicable, creative, and easy-to-implement art learning model in early childhood classrooms. Strengthening teacher capacity through such training is expected to continue sustainably to support the development of contextual and progressive art education in the archipelago region.
