Abstract

Mat Play Center (‘Gelaran’ Play Center) is another innovation and advance in early childhood learning. In line with the purpose of research, first, pre-development the media of Mat Play Center (Gelaran Play Center) would collect data starting with theoretical framework and information based on the class or the field situation; second, the progress of media development in Mat play centers based on multiple intelligence is conceptual model development, design and products; while the third phase is the stage of the application form of testing the models which running in the field. The results showed in the form of design and media product of Mat play centers based on multiple intelligence that was developed based on the classification of creative play, specifically: the creation of objects; serialize games; creative questions games; creative movement games; as well as creative drama games.

Abstract

This research aimed to developof effective communication based teaching skills for early childhood education teacher which evolved according to Indonesian National Curriculum Framework used recently in Early Childhood Education Department, Faculty of Education, UniversitasNegeri Jakarta. This research is expected to facilitate early childhood teachers to assess their teaching ability. Smartphones can be used to document teaching skills while doing microteaching.This research is conducted on the students of PG PAUD study program Faculty of Education UniversitasNegeri Jakarta, which is following the course of Foundation of Curriculum and Curriculum: teaching practice, with the basic subject of teaching skill, theoretically and practically. Data were collected through the utilization of observation and document analysis and interview.The use of smartphones as self-assessment is appropriate to be used as one of the development of ECE teacher teaching skills model. 85% of student can directly and analyzed about their teaching skills by looking video in their smartphone. The result of this research that the use of smartphones is very efficient and practical, because almost all students have the gadget.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh status ibu bekerja dan motivasi prestasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 1 SD. Data penelitian hasil belajar matematika diperoleh dengan analisis varian (ANAVA), dan diuji dengan analisis uji persyaratan melalui uji normalitas dengan uji Liliefors dan uji homogenitas dengan uji Bartlett. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang memiliki status ibu bekerja dan status ibu tidak bekerja (2) terdapat interaksi status ibu bekerja dengan motivasi prestasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika (3) ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang memiliki motivasi prestasi tinggi dengan status ibu bekerja dan motivasi prestasi rendah dengan status ibu bekerja (4) ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang memiliki motivasi prestasi tinggi dengan status ibu tidak bekerja.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the research is to develop children activities in play center for encourage kindergarten children’s creativity in special region Jakarta. This study used Research and Development design consisting 3 (three) stages: pre-development, developmental stage, and applying the model to examine the effectivity. This research conducted in April-June 2016.The first trial is conducted in TK Al-Jannah East Jakarta which involved 18 children. The second trial is conducted in TK Mutiara Kasih Bogor Citywhich involved 16 children.When conducting thesurvey, purposive sampling is used to obtain the kindergarten which are approriate with the objective of the research. The research found that the implementation of model of center play activities can develop early childhood creativity. Children creativity develop properly through the development of play activity in sentra model. Several variants of play activities which developed in this research, it can implement to foster children creativity in learning practices. Keywords: Creativity, Play Center, Kindergarten. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model kegiatan di sentra bermain dalam rangka mengembangkan kreativitas anakTK di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Research and Development yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap pra-pengembangan, tahapan pengembangan dan tahap penerapan untuk menguji efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan April-Juni2016. Uji coba model pertama dilakukan di TK Al-Jannah Jakarta Timur dengan jumlah 18 anak. Uji coba model kedua dilakukan diTK Mutiara Kasih Kota Bogor dengan jumlah 16 anak.Ketika melakukan survey, teknik purpossive sampling digunakan untuk menentukan TK yang sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian.Hasil penelitian mengungkapkanimplementasi model kegiatan bermain sentra dapat mengembangkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Beberapa varian kegiatan bermain yang telah dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini, dapat digunakan dalam praktik pengembangan kreativitas anak. Kata kunci: Kreativitas, Sentra Bermain, Taman Kanak-kanak.

Abstract

Abstract: Pengembangan Media Daur Ulang Berbasis Kecerdasan Jamak dalam Peningkatan Keterampilan Hidup Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu model pengembangan media daur ulang berbasis kecerdasan jamak bagi anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan. Semua anak yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah anak usia dini yang berusia 3-6 tahun yang belajar di Pos PAUD di DKI Jakarta. Anak usia dini yang menjadi sampel penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan model penelitian ini. Data yang dibutuhkan dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, catatan lapangan dan asesmen perkembangan anak. Data Dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media daur ulang berbasis kecerdasan jamak dalam keterampilan hidup anak usia dini berhasil terbukti dengan meningkatnya keterampilan hidup anak usia dini yang belajar di Pos PAUD DKI Jakarta. Kata Kunci: media daur uang, kecerdasan jamak, keterampilan hidup, anak usia dini, Pos PAUD Abstract: Developing a multiple intelligences-based recycling media to improve the life skills for early childhood children. The purpose of this research is to create a model for the development of multiple intelligences-based recycling media for early childhood children. This study employs design and development research. The samples of this study are 3 to 6 years old children studying at Pos PAUD in Jakarta and selected based on certain criteria. Questionnaires, field notes and child development assessment are utilized to obtain necessary data. These data are analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. This study finds that multiple intelligences-based recycling media improved children’ life skills. Keywords : recycled media, multiple intelligences, life skills, early childhood, and Pos PAUD

Abstract

Abstrak: Persepsi orang tua mempengaruhi kesiapan bersekolah anak khususnya pada kemampuan pengendalian diri, perkembangan diri dan sosial, perkembangan bahasa dan literasi serta perkembangan matematika. Penelitian Ex-Post Facto ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kesiapan bersekolah anak TK Usia 5-6 tahun yang memiliki orang tua dengan persepsi tinggi dan persepsi rendah di Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu Kota Samarinda Kalimantan Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat ex-post facto dengan desain faktorial 2x3. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Stratified random sampling dengan cara mengelompokkan TK menjadi 3 karakteristik yaitu TK Negeri, TK Swasta Reguler, dan TK Swasta berbasis agama, dan dari masing-masing  kelompok karakteristik tersebut, terpilihlah 1 TK Negeri, 4 TK Swasta Reguler, dan 7 TK Swasta berbasis agama. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melaui penyebaran 134 kuesioner kepada orang tua untuk data persepsi dan kepada guru untuk kesiapan bersekolah sebanyak 134 kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kesiapan bersekolah anak usia 5-6 tahun antara anak dengan persepsi orang tua tinggi dan anak dengan persepsi orang tua rendah. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengadakan penelitian lanjutan tentang variabel lain yang dapat mempengaruhi kesiapan bersekolah anak, contohnya pendidikan orang tua dan gender anak.The Influence of Parents' Perceptions on School Readiness for Children aged 5-6 Years in SamarindaAbstract: Parental perceptions affect children's school readiness, especially in self regulation ability, self and social development, languange and literacy development and mathematical development. This Ex-Post Facto study aims to determine the differences of school readiness for children aged 5-6 years old who have parents with high perceptions and low perceptions in Samarinda Ulu District, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. The method used in this study is ex-post facto with a 2x3 facto design.The sampling technique in this study was stratified random sampling by grouping TK into 3 characteristics, namely State Kindergarten, Regular Private Kindergarten, and Religion-based Private Kindergarten, and from each group of these characteristics, 1 state kindergarten, 4 regular private kindergartens, and 7 religious-based private kindergartens were selected. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing 134 questionnaires to parents for perception data and 134 questionnaires to teachers for school readiness data. The results showed that there were differences in school readiness for children aged 5-6 years between children with high parental perceptions and children with low parental perceptions. The next researcher can conduct further research on other variables that can affect children's school readiness, for example parental education and children's gender.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of children's early education experience on school readiness of children aged 5-6 years in Samarinda Ulu District, Samarinda City. The population in this study were children aged 5-6 years who attended kindergarten group B in Samarinda Ulu District. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to parents to find out the initial experience of children's education and to teachers for school readiness data. Abstract

Penelitian tindakan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan aktivitas anak kelompok B TKIT Al Faruqi saat melakukan proses pemahaman berhitung dan kardinalitas melalui penggunaan media Rangkasbitung. Media Rangkasbitung (Barang Bekas Media Berhitung) digunakan sebagai alat untuk menstimulasi kemampuan berhitung dan kardinalitas serta sebagai wujud peningkatan SDM guru dalam berinovasi mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain siklus mengikuti model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 anak kelompok B TKIT Al Faruqi. Penarikan kesimpulan dilakukan dengan mengubah penilaian kualitatif ke kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa aktivitas anak kelompok B TKIT Al Faruqi mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan kegiatan belajar menggunakan media Rangkasbitung. Melalui data yang dipaparkan dalam penelitian ini dapat diketahui juga bahwa penggunaan media belajar Rangkasbitung mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung dan kardinalitas anak kelompok B TKIT Al Faruqi.
