Abstract

Menurut Zakian Daradjat, tujuan utama pendidikan Islam adalah menciptakan manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Allah. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain adalah adanya pemisahan antara ilmu agama dan ilmu umum serta ketidakpercayaan masyarakat terhadap lembaga pendidikan Islam. Dengan memadukan ilmu pengetahuan dengan agama dan menggunakan gagasan "Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan", penelitian ini berupaya untuk menciptakan generasi manusia yang cerdas dan bermoral. Metodologi penelitian ini memadukan kajian deskriptif terhadap literatur yang relevan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Kajian pustaka dari berbagai sumber terkait digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, tujuan memadukan ilmu pengetahuan dan agama adalah untuk menciptakan generasi yang berakhlak mulia, cerdas, dan Islami. Gagasan "Islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan" bertujuan untuk menyelaraskan ilmu pengetahuan kontemporer dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Penting untuk mengimplementasikan keterkaitan antara sains dan agama di lembaga pendidikan melalui model, kurikulum, dan desain pembelajaran. Peningkatan kualitas instruktur, peningkatan sinkronisasi, dan penyesuaian kurikulum dapat membantu mengatasi kendala seperti pemahaman, kemajuan teknologi, dan perbedaan pendapat. Untuk menciptakan generasi yang cerdas, bermoral, dan memiliki perspektif integratif tentang agama dan sains, maka integrasi sains dan agama di sekolah dapat dilakukan.

Abstract

Islamic education during the period of the Khulafaur Rasyidin played a crucial role in shaping a strong and morally upright Muslim generation. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic education during that era in the context of character formation for the Muslim generation in the era of globalization. In this rapidly advancing global era, Islamic education faces significant challenges in preserving religious values and Islamic identity. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis techniques to explore the principles of Islamic education during the Khulafaur Rasyidin period and its relevance to contemporary Islamic education. The findings indicate that fundamental principles such as the teachings of Tawhid, morality, and the integration of worldly and spiritual knowledge from that era are still highly relevant for the formation of Muslim youth's character today. This study concludes that Islamic education during the Khulafaur Rasyidin era can serve as a guide in addressing the challenges of globalization, emphasizing character formation and balanced integration of both worldly and spiritual knowledge, while reinforcing Islamic identity amidst the materialistic global culture.

Abstract

The Banten Sultanate played a strategic role in maintaining and developing Islamic values in the archipelago, especially in the coastal areas of West Java. Established in the 16th century, the Banten Sultanate functioned as a center for Islamic preaching and education, with the establishment of mosques and Islamic boarding schools as important symbols in the spread of Islamic teachings. Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin and his successors not only utilized political power, but also applied Islamic principles in government policies, making Islam the basis of morals and ethics in people's lives. Islamic boarding schools in Banten became centers of religious and cultural teachings, producing prominent scholars who spread Islam to other regions. Through an approach that integrated Islamic teachings with local culture, the Banten Sultanate succeeded in maintaining and introducing Islam as a religion that regulates all aspects of life, with an impact that is still felt today in Indonesia.
